I have a collection of about 8 Anson belts and love them . I have found that Mission buckles fit the Anson belts perfectly. I live in Texas and bought a few of the western buckles from Mission to change up the look for when wearing jeans.

I’m a big fan of this style belt. They fit better and last much longer. I currently use Mission, but will give Anson a shot for some additional style variety. Good video on matching.

Hi John, very valid commentary that is often overlooked. Could be a banging pair of Quality shoes and a nice belt but if they don’t match, most of that goodness is lost as the two are almost competing against another. I’m going to check out Anson as well, the micro-adjustment would be a game-changer!! And keep up the good work

Hi John. I have several Anson belts in different leathers and fabrics and like them all for the reason you mentioned. You can get an exact fit. I even have a couple of their nifty belt hangers. They are a game changer. I now have more drawer space in my dresser. Previously I had to coil them up as tightly as possible and put a rubber band around them and stack them side by side to see what color they were. I also keep the buckles in the drawstring pouch that the belt comes in. Peace. :)

I love my anson belts. I have three leather straps and plan to grab a few canvas straps for the spring and summer. I definitely struggle a little when trying to match belts with shoes when going casual. For example, I have a pair of blue suede casual shoes and never know what belt to wear. I have a really casual blue belt but it’s too casual to wear with a button down shirt.
Grab a blue one or even a dark gray one.

I also have several of those kinds of belts. Yep they're great for that perfect fit, but I do find that the buckle tends to be bulky, and sits uneven, not flat against the stomach, which, unless I'm being OCD, sometimes annoys me.
Mine aren't Anson brand, but the buckle looks exactly the same design/mechanism from what I can see on your video.

Bruce Smith same here. I have mission belts. The buckle is bulkier. I only wear my mission belts with dress clothes so it’s not so bad. But other than dress, the buckle is a little much.

I could have figured out that belt you were showing but the one I got for Christmas we never did figure out how it worked. It came with no instructions. I ended up throwing it away. Too bad, it was nice.

What about belt thickness for casual and suits and also matching your buckle to your metals? If you are wearing gold jewelry you cant wear a silver buckle.

Yes, just make sure it’s pretty close. Anson belts have a lot of colors around beige.

This is a really stale commericial for anson belts. I get you need the payday but everyone over 20 knows to match belt and shoes because every yt fashion influencer has done this vid. Just cuase your over 40 doesn't mean you can't be creative.
