embrodiered ! frame belt buckle, traditional, solid leather.... but embrodiered .. indian style, cow boys, even pyton on summer. I like the BRAIDED LEATHER look but I do not use it because I want to keep track of my waistline

it all depends on what you wear ,my personal favorite formal wear belts are Mont blanc,Lanvin and Salvatore ferragamo.
Casual wear my personal favorite is Carolina Herrera, Paul and Shark, boss.
I must have over 50 designer belts lol

this guide only really applies to outfits that are not suits. belts should always be matched properly when dressing formally, or better yet, the pants that come with your suit should not have loops at all, they should be properly fitted.
personally, i cant stand anything other than a good leather belt with a proper Buckle, anything else looks tacky and cheap
      ps: on terminology :
      Micro-Adjust System - not a buckle
Box Frame Belt Bucke - not a buckle
O/D Ring Belt Buckls - not a buckle
glad to see you didnt promote the "clip on tie" of the belt world, the "prong/stud/push-through" fastener

Speaking of belts and leather I thought It would be useful if I could share this information.
I'm an italian guy and I see too many times foreign gentlemen coming here in Tuscany and buying what are supposed to be genuine Italian leather belts and maybe spending 50/60 euros for them and then realize after months to have been cheated.
My advice to any foreigner is to avoid those shops that write " italian" or " Tuscany" all over the place because they buy that leather everywhere but in Italy.
Also if you see a belt for under 60 euros it can't have been made in Italy, the craftsmanship here is very very expensive.
Hope to have been useful .
Greetings from Italy to all of you gentlemen

Antonio, now these are the kind of videos I love to continue seeing from you. Pretty informative, it condenses information we could gather ourselves from the internet, but saves us the time from having to do our own research. Keep it going!

    Mr. Antonio,
I've been following you for a while now and I absolutely love all of your videos.
Before I discovered your channel I really just wore anything cause I didn't care, and as you can image, my image in other peoples mind weren't so good.
But after watching your videos, I learned how to dress myself properly, I learned how to buy clothes(like, not randomly), I learned how to choose clothes(the right clothes for the right occasion), I learned to discern the quality and whether I need it or not(not blinded the brand, price tag or prejudice) and choose the right size, etc.
I learned to find my own timeless style.
The feedback was good, people no longer give me those disagreeable look and take me more seriously.
People do judge a book by it's cover. A good image and impression is essential.
So thank you for making all these videos, it really helps people like me who literally have no sense for it.
    I'm really grateful.
But you do have too many videos, it took some time to find the videos that I needed, so do you think it would be possible for you to make a playlist with all the essential and must learn videos? a step by step playlist for beginners or something. Like that, we could just autoplay it. Thank you.

Very good video. I really like your whole channel, but the videos about under appreciated items are the ones that help me the most. There are guides to suits, shirts and shoes everywhere, but only very few really helpful videos (that don’t just show “the top five styles 2018”) about belts, ties, pocket squares and so on. Good job Antonio! Greetings from Austria

I always enjoy your presentations because it is informed and pretty thorough. It's the very reason I keep revisiting which speaks for itself how much I enjoy them. I would like to respectfully make a suggestion. While you can certainly give us all the benefits and lowdown on the pieces you highlight, can you make recommendations on which ones would be best. For instance, for belts, I think the auto-grip-lock solid buckle looks elegant and stylish for any occasion. So you will never find me wearing the single tongue, old-style buckles for any reason. It's just a suggestion from a fan, though.

Personally I Love the Kore belts. I was going to order a similar design from a Kore competitor, but saw reviews stating that the Kore Essentials Trakline belts were made of better materials (leathers). I don't have a personal experience with those competitors, but am definitely excited by my new Kore Icon buckle and top-grain fashion belt which I've been comfortably wearing for days now. I now think about my belt less, not more-which is the main point !

I enjoy wearing canvas belts, too. The O/C ring setup is not intuitive. It took a little bit of experimentation until it became a habit to fasten. That type works best if you thread it through the belt loops on the trousers beginning on the right side rather than the left side. This allows the belt to thread through the rings and stow to the left. BTW I'm going to check out Anson. I'm sure I'll find something to like.

Before trying an Anson belt I tried one of those as seen on TV leather belts I found at Wal-Mart and really liked it but they were only available in black and brown. I wanted a tan belt so I tried an Anson belt and I have to say that the Wal-Mart belt has a better buckle design. My Anson belt buckle does not always want to engage in the track and can sometimes be a pain to release when it does. The buckle for their casual canvas belts work much better. I must say though that I like their color selection.

I own the Kore and Anson belts and both make a quality product with outstanding customer service. However if looking for a gun belt there is only one choice, the Kore belt. It's much stiffer. Which is essential in a gun belt, and the belt is much thicker to work with holster clips, build quality of straps much higher. Will hold up your pants and anything you hang off it !

What do you think about cordovan leather? I've heard it's more durable than calfskin or cowhide, but is it flexible enough to make a comfortable belt?

Nice vid man. To me the belt buckle is so very important, must not be heavy, noisy/rattles and bulky. My preference is one pin, leather must be soft not stiff or thick, my budget is no more than $50. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I retired, so no more dress belts for me, I now only wear slim fit jeans, Khakis, Chinos, Yes!

I love belts, even belt buckles. I wear Indian belt buckles, so awesome. Why we men wear belts like that, and how to wear it. Belts go way back, it is amazing how to wear belt buckles in a great fashion. It goes to see it, nice

How do I match oxblood/burgundy shoes with a belt ?
Browns seem off and some people say you can even wear a black belt with oxblood shoes (double monks, tassel loafers)

What's your view on branded buckles e.g. on an 'H' hermes belt?

I have been looking at belts a lot recently. Sometimes on the tag it will describe the belt as being made with full grain or top grain leather. But on the back of the belt it will be stamped genuine leather. What is the deal with that? Are they full grain or top grain or genuine?
