All 3 TCL 98 inch models are available on Best Buy’s website and zero reviews on UA-cam. I have no idea which one to buy.

The biggest obstacle to ATSC 3 adoption is its total absence in budget TVs.

@@impossiblescissors Well its a catch 22 isn't it?; they want more early adopters in order to go down in price, consumers would rather they go down in price first to justify the jump along with add more channels. Right now they just look like slightly crispier looking ota channels. Do you want to get a new tv and/or adapter just to get cbs in better resolution? telemundo, pbs, etc? These aren't exactly channels that make you go wow i need to invest money to get. I get maybe a tiny handful of those channels here in nyc but not exactly screaming must haves. Most consumers aren't even aware of atsc3 and for those that are the channels that are don't justify the upscale in cost to justify.

Yeah, but I watch the NYC PBS stations, basically the NewsHour in the evening. With the frequency shifts due to the addition of ATSC 3 in NYC last fall, I can no longer receive PBS ATSC 1 reliably. So I've been contemplating getting an ATSC 3 tuner stick just for the more robust signal encoding.

Got an hd homerun, no way i'm touching anything atsc 3 until they sort out the whole drm mess. Get the drm sorted out and make the price go down and more channels up. Right now we are the ones testing out their tech that they still don't seem to have sorted out. No thanks i'll pass for now. Its really hard to justify the price for a tiny handful of ota channels that are a bit sharper/better sounding. These aren't exactly channels that I don't already have even if the resolution and audio isn't quite as good. I'm not going i need nbc, cbs, etc at the best quality possible!

If 100 people join my paid Patreon tier in the next 30 days I will. I just don’t have that kind of money lol.

At 1500$ that's nothing to brag about.

115 inch TV a small TV?
I'll put it this way. Any TV that you cannot pack in a bag whether it be a suitcase or backpack moreover is a large sized TV.
    Clean your lie up, son.

Not worth the money unless you can't get the ATSC 1 signals in your area (and even then still not worth the money)
