Fun fact, channel 6 runs off of 87.7 MHz on most typical car stereos. You can pick a channel 6 on the car radio if you ever heard of states then on 87.7 MHz the reason is channel 6 is tuned in to 87.7 MHz

TLDR Using OTA transmission (1) must continue to be free… that’s the cost of using our airwaves, (2) must not utilize DRM … the legal means for protecting content is sufficient and DRM is too costly on everyone but the pirates…why is an internet connection required, what happens if my TV manufacturer goes out of business and stops delivering firmware updates to support DRM/fixes, (3) must not require another service … e.g. an internet connection must not be required, and (4) must not restrict what a user can record (time shift) or enforce retention limits…. can’t remotely delete or invalidate recordings already made. The problem is that the broadcasters, pearl, A3SA don’t agree with 1-4 above and they are seemingly trying to pull the wool over the eyes of everyone while the FCC remains on the sidelines. Your Mobile ATSC 3.0 discussion… It’s wholly unnecessary, just stream the content to mobile using the internet. You mention Netflix in another example, why not follow their streaming model for delivery? (Answer: you want DRM). Asking phone providers to include another chip and/or using dongles will be a failing endeavor. Your we need to kill ATSC 1.0 to take advantage of ATSC 3.0 (lighthouse station dual broadcast required by FCC) argument…. That’s wholly caused by the broadcasters. They could have built on top of ATSC 1.0 with backwards compatibility or they could release ATSC 3.0 with the same functionality as ATSC 1.0 and abide by the same FCC rules (e.g. no DRM, no AC4) and use the ATSC 1.0 rollout strategy (e.g. free dongles but this time from the broadcasters not the FCC) and ATSC 3.0 would be in the market. Your you are a super, super, super sub-minority argument for the gateway device scenario… your calculus is based on the dream that you’ll capture the entire addressable market of everyone with a TV set. That’s the wrong target as the vast majority of TVs sold do not use the built in tuner and most never will. You should be targeting the current OTA receiving market, everyone else is using cable, streaming, or satellite to receive their content and likely won’t change. Of course as prices for those services rise you may be able to capture them. The gateway device scenario is the in-house streaming scenario that is built into many DVRs and gateway devices today. If you don’t support those scenarios you’ll cut off a much larger part of the market than you think. Your defense of DRM with the “bogus” comment… honestly, you protest too much. Think about it, why do you need it? Who has gotten away with pirating TV to date? The broadcast companies have shut down all of the big violators using the legal system and profited doing so. So why? It’s the desire to eventually use OTA to support direct subscriber/streaming scenarios…. but OTA is supposed to always be free. Also, why does the standard allow for (1) preventing recording a broadcast, and (2) time restricting recordings so that they can’t be played back? Sure seems like the broadcasters want to build a walled garden just like they’re streaming sites, but this time over the top of public airwaves.

I actually never got this ad but I bought a similar one and I got almost every channel because most of the channels are uhf and I live in a strong signal area and the transmitters are about 19 to 29 miles away from my house. However I never got this ad and I’m curious to see the full ad for some odd reason.

I would like to know then what we can use/buy to get our internet bills lowered?

Holy crap! I just dropped "pro power saver" into youtube's android apps search function and there's results going back a year. There thumbnails that appear to show the same device going back at least 3 years. Save your money, there are already videos showing the internals.

There is no way to get rid off live tv from samsung !! The only way is to reset the tv but if you don't agree Terms and Conditions you won't be able to use netflix or prime. It sucks!!

I got the same product in Ireland, bought it from Temu! It literally is a shit. Even after attaching amplifier with it, it scanned 2 channels, and then no signal on them.
