I HAD to leave a comment to applaud your approach, it has been years since i've seen an actual informative video about products on youtube, thank you a lot
I bought the Happrun about a year ago and I'm still enjoying it. The fan is a little loud but not bad once you have any audio going. There are a few bright spots that showed up not too long after buying it. They are pretty small and only noticable in dark or black scenes. As long as they dont get any worse, I'm happy.
Just bought a Happrun a few days ago since it was on sale from your videos! Set it up today and it's a great value for $40! Thank you for all the hard work you do for testing products!
Could you please do review for all $300-$400 Projectors? Also Similarly for maybe $200-$300 and so on for future vidoe ideas. This would help choose the projectors for people with set budgets
This is the first video I'm coming across on your channel, as I'm shopping for a good cheap projector currently. Never subscribed so fast in my life, you are a blessing sir.
So crazy how I've been watching your reviews on projectors the past week looking for a good projector for my community movie night and then bam! you upload this masterpiece. Thank you!!! ❤
I bought one of the HY300's for $40AUD delivered as a piss-take, but it's FINE for the bedroom. I laughed how good it was. Obviously I'll get something better for the motorhome, but for now, what an incredible buy
Same. I made the experience better by using Ivy Launcher and enabling developer mode (you can adjust contrast & brightness as well as integrate into home assistant). I paid £38. Well worth it
The greatest service this channel provides is reviewing cheap projectors from generic brands no one outside China has heard of. There is a massive variance in quality and deviation from claimed specs among the cheap projectors. I bought the Happrun based on your recommendation from earlier this year. Wow this projector is amazing for the price in dark rooms. Getting a 142 inch image. However it is impossible to see with ambient light, which is expected. I love it and now I am very tempted to get a better projector. Great starter projector

17:04 why is your choice for flexibility the HY300 over the HY320 (either Salange or MagiCube)? I thought for sure the newer (320) version would be better. Especially in when in 12:25 the Salange HY320 is ranked higher than the HY300. Note: I'm only considering these options because I'm planning to use the projector mostly aimed on my ceiling. So the other options are not ideal.
Awesome sets of videos, really appreciate it. Any special recommendations or things to watch out for for if mounting on the ceiling and projecting downward on a table (D&D)?
I think what most people don't look at is throw distance. You can take a very good projector and move it back 10 feet to make it a very bad projector due to throw distance and brightness. Currently I'm looking at a BenQ TH575 because it will provide the best luminance at a 20' distance and could be better if I used a screen.
Any references from other brands on any C26 named projectors? It also states 500 ANSI lumens, and when inquired about differences with JQ818C , the seller stated that "The differences in picture quality and brightness are very minimal." Today it is listed at $111 USD with 50% discount...
Excellent reviews thanks for the comparison. I was conducting my own make shift tests but you saved me a lot of time. I ended up getting the Growview 818C at an excellent deal. Also, you probably noticed that some of these projectors are simply being rebranded but they dont change the item/mfg number. i.e. GC357 (Ownknew, Zoaybu, and now Kogata) Not sure if the internal tech is the same or actually different but their specs are not consistent. Curious to know what the brightness and contrast settings on all of them are. Bought one of those HY300pro myself and to my surprise, those levels were set to 50% only. Whenever I buy a tv or monitor, one of the first things I do is lower brightness and contrast as they are usually set far too high (to my liking at least). First time ever I had to set them higher.

o7 you’re doing us a great service, I appreciated you
Can't seem to get any of the top ones on Amazon UK
Sir, you deserve a medal for this video. I'm serious.
BBianLyy 8k is native 4K? They sell it on Amazon, Thank, I hope for a response
Thanks for making the most comprehensive video. Respect.
Okay, so if I want to project onto the ceiling, is the Magicubic a good choice?
Curious to know what the brightness and contrast settings on all of them are.
Bought one of those HY300pro myself and to my surprise, those levels were set to 50% only. Whenever I buy a tv or monitor, one of the first things I do is lower brightness and contrast as they are usually set far too high (to my liking at least).
First time ever I had to set them higher.
Can you project the Happrun on a wall or does it need a screen ?
I have the same question lol
It works fine on a light colored wall. I’m going to be repainting so I’ll be picking up a screen.
I have no plan to buy one, but still finish this video anyway. Very entertaining
This is just amazing. Thank you for your hard work.
Forgot to comment that this video was amazing, thank you very much for sharing.
Man watched like 3 videos of yours and finally bought the Happrun H1 but here in india it cost like 110$ USD which is surprisingly very great value due to its spec!
this king of review is what we need, no bullshhh or anything
One of the best reviews by far , thank you ! Would love to see a review for projectors in the 120 to 150 dollar segment .
