    I love that you showed the sanding, so many skip showing that step and I always end up confused about when to do what! You make it look so easy.

    Thank you the tip about using the flat razor. I like using it much more than the craft knife.

      Yes, I completely agree.. a flat razor is the way to go for sure. I feel like I have so much better control with it rather than with a craft knife.

    The cup is beautiful and it would definitely make a great fall themed cup.
    What color paint was on the cup initially (before glitter)? From my end it looks like a chrome red. It looks gorgeous! Can you tell me where you got it?

    Beautiful, I am a beginner, making tumbler for personal use, is it better to get 100/200 watts or can You tell me if a 300 watt heat gun will do the trick. Don’t want to get a blow torch like u used.

    • @KristisCustomCreations
      @KristisCustomCreations  3 роки тому

      A heat gun won't pop the bubbles like a torch will. A heat gun will mainly move the epoxy around and won't pop all of them. I would recommend a small torch.

      Thank you for taking the time to respond, 1 more question I am looking at face mask/respirators for epoxy, I am seeing so many options on Amazon, any recommendations??

      @@cfjack4me you're very welcome. Yes, there are so many to choose from. You definitely want one with an organic vapor gas cover. This is the one I have: amzn.to/36BhECU

    Oh a question I thought of during the video. Is that a tray with parchment paper you put under then cup when you go to put epoxy on cups?

    • @KristisCustomCreations
      @KristisCustomCreations  3 роки тому +1

      Yes! It's just a cheap plastic serving tray from Walmart that I have had for years. I just put a piece of wax paper down on it to catch any epoxy that I drop. Just helps keep things much cleaner... Lol

  • @nicolecooper6503
    @nicolecooper6503 3 роки тому +1

    This is gorgeous! I love everything fall! I think it would look amazing with peek-a-boo pumpkins and leaves. Maybe like the ones I've seen with the outlines? Not sure if that makes sense. I can't wait to see what you do with it!

    I’m so glad you specifically showed how you get rid of the stick ups on the top of the cup. On your sandpaper link, they don’t offer 220, so which would be a better alternative? 180 or 320? Great video bc i love chunky glitter. Thank you.

    So what is the reason for 2 coats of epoxy and sanding it with sand paper and then a 3rd coat?? I’m a beginner, and I get the 2 coats I just don’t understand why you sand it and add another coat of epoxy.

    Why can't I find the "tumbler epoxy" epoxy you mention on your site? I would really like to find a good tumbler epoxy. The counter culture DIY fast set seems to almost set too fast for me, and I don't have the patience for a lot of others.
