Thank you after watching tons of beach wave tumbler and doing it I saw it was lumpy? No one said that it’ll be lumpy no one until you!!! Thank you because I thought I’d have to redo but you saved me from that chaos so thank you ❤️ now I’ll wait to give that another hand of epoxy and then my last coat which I do have sea turtles and fish to add on them epoxy to finish. I’m so grateful I found you

That opal white is beautiful… I hope to dive into doing this one day, just can’t right now with my 1 year old. I can’t believe I just learned about alcohol inks the other day lol 😂
Yeah, little humans make it very difficult to craft sometimes but they are TOTALLY worth it! :)
Gorgeous ❤️
Thanks!!! 😊
Thank u was so helpful. I just did my first beach tumbler
I'm so glad to hear that you going it helpful! 🥰 Thank you for watching!

Aww! Thank you so much! 🥰 You made my day! ❤️
thanks for the tutorial, as a beginner in tumbler it was really usefull for me
You're very welcome! I'm so glad you found it helpful! 🥰
Bee jays glitter also has a glitter called sand castle and it is amazing! I use it on my beach tumblers for the sand area
Yes ma'am, they sure do. I discovered it after I made this video. I love using it on my tumblers now. I think it's called sand dollar though... Or heck I don't know, we could be talking about two different colors. But they do have a perfect Sandy color. Lol 😂
beautiful
Absolutely Beautiful
Thank you! 🥰
Thank you! 🥰
Love it from Australia xx
Thank you! 🥰
Beautiful! I’m anxious to try this one! Quick question. I have the same torch as you. I fill mine, use it, then the next day it’s like it’s empty. I’ve read it could be the butane used. What kind do you use? Have you had this issue?
I did this same thing to a Brand New HAMMER!!!
So no one would steal it.... or at least I'd know it's my Hammer.
It turned out BEAUTIFUL..
It would make a cool Gag Gift... (I also did the TOP of the hammer too) Silver
I absolutely love this!!!! Thank you for this video!! How did you do your set up that spins the tumblers? I’d love to see that!
I'd love to know too. It looks custom! 👍
This looks beautiful! I tried finding the poppin bottles glitter in the list but couldn’t find it. Is there another color I can use?
Would love ❤️ one x
I can’t find the links for products used. This was such an awesome tutorial! I love the beach and will be trying this out!
I’m going to try this for the first time. I have everything you used in this video except the white alumilite dye. Can you use any white acrylic paint or white alcohol ink to apply to the resin to make the waves?
Do you change out the honey bottles when you start a fresh bottle of epoxy?
So beautiful!! I want to learn how to make these. I’ve watched a couple of videos that demonstrated sanding the tumblers before applying the final coat of epoxy. I didn’t see you do that? Is it not really necessary? Maybe because of chunky glitter? I LOVE this tumbler! Thank you so much for sharing your talent♥️
You only need to sand if the glitter is poking up or if it isn't smooth. I always sand after two coats of epoxy over the glitter and I usually don't sand again after that.
This tumbler is fantastic 🤩🙌🏽👏🏽! I’m still learning when it comes to using alcohol inks...you make it look so easy ! Thank you for the excellent tutorial !
Thank you so much Dae!!!!!!!
@@KristisCustomCreations you’re welcome hon 😊.
Thank you for sharing! Absolutely gorgeous ❤️ I have been trying to find a good heat gun and torch. Can you share what you use?
You're very welcome! ❤️ This is the torch I use: amzn.to/3BL9nNF
And this is a good heat gun amzn.to/3p4dP2t
How long did you leave the glitter to dry after putting it on the cup?
This came out really good ... but how do you get the bottles ?? because it shows that they only have them in bags???
Loved the video...I did not see the link for the honey bottles. Would you mind providing it?
How long do yoy allow epoxy to dry between layers. I have purchased all the items you recommended, just can't figure out drying times.
Im looking for the BJ's glitter coupon but I don't see it above
❤
🥰
Hi Kristy, where did you put the stonewash ink?
What heat gun do you use. I didn’t see it listed.
These cups are absolutely beautiful!! I’m new to the cup making and I’m obsessed :) trying different things is fun, yet scary. I attempted to make 2 of these for a friend going on vacation- and I for some reason has troubles getting the waves/white to have the effect like yours .. I’m not sure what I did wrong, if I did not put enough white dye in the resin or not enough white resin period :( they still look okay, but just don’t have the wave effect. I’m going to give it another shot - but not sure what I did wrong. Thank you for sharing your video!
Did you use enough epoxy on the Tumbler before putting the waves on? It's important to have enough epoxy so that the white will spread out when you blow it with the heat gun. Thanks for watching and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰
I had the same problem! I know I had enough epoxy on the tumbler. But for me it’s like the white sank into the blue, like maybe I had too much epoxy? It’s still very pretty but not quite as wavy as yours
12:57 is this a 30oz tumbler?
This is so Beautiful...
Do you sell these somewhere?
I'm in the process now of making my first one. when i use the wax paper some of the glitter stuck to the wax paper, and i couldn't possibly give a layer of resin right after that,it seems too wet. did i use too much resin on the very first layer?
You might have used a little bit too much epoxy initially. Let it dry just a little bit and then use the wax paper on it. Once the first bit of epoxy is dry, then you can put a second coat of epoxy over it.
Hey what's the reason for spraying the cup
the 30% off code is not in the comments can you post it please
I don't have a discount code with BeeJay's glitter anymore because I have my own glitter line now. The glitter that I use on my beach tumblers can be found on my website here... kccglitter.com/collections/beach-please
If you use DISCOUNT code: BEACHPLEASE it will save you 30% off your entire purchase.
Is it necessary to spray paint fist?
I found your channel. I'm in the FL Panhandle as well and we should totally be craft sister's
That's awesome!!! What part of the panhandle if you don't mind me asking???? I'm always open to new crafting buddies!! 🥰
I'm in the Destin Florida area and you
How long you let it dry before putting the epoxy on the glitter
Do you think white acrylic paint would work just as good or should I use alc ink? I don't have the white dye and I need to finish my cup asap
Yes, you can use white acrylic paint on the epoxy instead 🥰
I love watching your videos and I’ve tried this cup a few times I’m having problems when I get to putting the waves on. I have the white dye on you link and I’m not sure if I’m putting to much epoxy to get it to move or to much heat. Any times you might share that might help me on my next tumbler?
What exactly is it doing even you put the white dye in?
@@KristisCustomCreations would it be better if I can just send you a picture of the tumbler? It seems that I was getting to much movement with the epoxy and might had put to much white on the tumbler.
How long in-between coats of epoxy do u wait
where do I find the link where you listed your products
Hi, I'm curious why two coats of epoxy were used before the coat with alcohol inks? Could you do the alcohol inks on the coat directly after the glitter and save 2 coats? Thank you in advance!
I like to do the two coats of epoxy over The glitter before sanding it and adding alcohol ink because it needs to be sanded to smooth down some of the chunky glitter. If you add alcohol ink before standing, you might sand up some of the alcohol inks. I like deep look that the multiple layers of epoxy before alcohol inks add to it.. It really gives the cup a lot of depth.
Please can I have a list of the materials needed for customizing a mug/plates?
Love your videos and links. Just want to mention that you used Tumblerpoxy but your links are for Faux Rizzle. I already have tumblerpoxy and love it.
Ooh my goodness, I'll have to check it out and see why it says Faux Rizzle on there. I used to use Faux Rizzle before I discovered Tumblerpoxy's awesomeness! 😉 Thank you for letting me know!
I would love to order this cup
I don't take custom orders anymore because I try to mainly focus on my UA-cam channel. I actually do have one of these tumblers ready to sell though if you would like to contact me about it. You can email me at kristicustomcreations@gmail.com
New at making tumblers....LOVE this method...could you please list the honey bottle Amazon link..Thanks a million!
Thanks for watching!! Here's the link to the honey bottles 🥰 amzn.to/46WwB0j
I cannot seem to find the link for all the products.
Kristie, you probably have already spoke about it but where did you get your pen holder turning there beside you? Another awesome video....hope you and your family are doing well. Take care and God bless.
Thank you so much! I actually haven't spoken about that Turner attachment but how cool is that?! It spins 16 pens at one time! It's by the 5d print factory on Etsy 🥰 here's their link: www.etsy.com/shop/5DPrintFactory
How did you make the table
The eoxy poxy is not available on Amazon, is there another source? Or, something comparible.
Hola!! Cómo se llama la herramienta para sacar burbujas? Gracias!!
i am a new follower
Thanks for following!!! 🥰
I’m a bit confused because in my experience alcohol inks fade/disappear quickly when exposed to sunlight. Have you encountered this issue?
Kristi how did you paint the base colors? I’m terrible about blending colors thank you
I use spray paint to paint it. I hold the spray can further back and it helps the colors to kind of blend/ombre together. I paint the white part last.
I've been curious and wanting to try to make custom main tumblers but how safe is epoxy? Because I know you're not supposed to put resin in your mouth.
You should always have plenty of ventilation and use PPE while working with epoxy. Once it is fully cured it is safe but while still in the curing process, the epoxy does release fumes
Do you have to use the white allumilite or can you use alcohol ink
You can use white alcohol ink too. I actually used to always make them with white alcohol ink but the white epoxy dye is a bit more of a solid color than the ink was. Both ways work perfectly fine!
Love this......I ordered the glitter and will try this tumbler. One question, with so many coats of epoxy, is the cup really heavy?
It's slightly heavier than a normal glittered tumbler but barely.. It's not really noticeable unless you are comparing it to another tumbler.
Did you let the glitter layer cure before pitting epoxy over the glitter, or just after you glittered the cup? Does that make sense?
Nevermind, I see gpu let it dry. :) Thank you
Yes, i see you found the answer 😊 thanks for watching!!!
Can I please get the link for the honey bottles you use? Didn’t see it in the description box. Thank you! Working on my first beach tumblers, and I’ve probably watched this 10+ times! ❤
I may have forgotten to add the link to them. 🤦🏼♀️ I'd love to hear how your beach tumblers turn out! 🥰 Here's the link to them: amzn.to/3AriEIP
Yay!! Thank you!! I’m ordering the adhesive sandpaper and the honey bottles, and I’ll be sanding them tomorrow!! I’m a newbie and one has a handle, so wish me luck on that! 😍😂 I don’t see a way to send photos or video to you here, but with your help, I’m sure they’ll turn out good! The handled one is for my boss! Eek! 😅 THANK YOU!
@@tupachef the adhesive sand paper is the way to go! It seriously makes it so much easier when sanding. I have a big Facebook group where a lot of us post if you would like to join and post your progress there 🥰 facebook.com/groups/epoxytumblersandpens/?ref=share
Joined!! Yay!! My hubby is building me the turner you have, too! You’ve been an inspiration!
@@tupachef aww! Yay!!! That makes me so happy to hear! Thank you! 🥰
What is the difference between using the white you used and using a white alcohol ink?
Really no difference at all. I actually used to use white alcohol ink until I started using the dye.
Can you sand the cup before the last layer of epoxy ?
Yes but you want to make sure you don't sand over any vinyl and it's best if the cup is smooth before applying the vinyl so it doesn't show any bumps under the vinyl.
how do u do this when dont have all the equipment u have?
Do you have to have a torch or can you use a heat gun?
You can use just the heat gun but I personally find the torch works better for microbubbles
Hey Kristi! What heat gun are you using? Mine isn't strong enough or something my white didn't blend like yours.
Mine is a Craftsman heat gun. I put it on high to get it to push the white.
I used my blow dryer to help it move a little more than my heat gun usually does.
@@mariatyler2742 That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing! :)
Awesome. Where did you get that tumbler or did you make it?
Tumbler or Turner?
Geez wish I had seen this 24 hours ago. Struggle is real with the chunky glitter coverage
Beautiful! What is spinning in the background? Are those straws?
Thanks! They are epoxied pens 😊
@@KristisCustomCreations stunning!
@@Rendosian thank you!
How much would this cup typically go for? Just wandering if I should start making these or not
I charge $45 for my 20oz tumblers and $55 for my 30oz tumblers. These sell really well for me and I have no problem getting that price for them. Some people in small towns do sell there's for a little less but keep in mind that your time and materials go in to these Tumblers. 😊
Was this a 30oz tumbler ?
Thanks so much for the tutorial. I been trying for the longest to make tumblers but they never seem to come out right 🤦🏾♀️😩
You're very welcome.. if you haven't yet, check out my Facebook group. You still find so much help there. Also, once you find my Facebook group, please feel free to message me and I'll be more than happy to walk you through any issues that you're having with making tumblers. 🥰
The link for the Facebook group is down in the description box.
Can you use fine glitter instead of chunky glitter?
Yes ma'am, you can. 😊
I can't find the link for bjs glitter for 30% off 🤷♀️
The coupon code used to be KRIS30 but I don't know if it is still active... this video was put out about a year and a half ago. :)
Did you seal your glitter before putting epoxy over it?
It depends on the cup that I'm doing. If I don't want the glitter to move or if I'm using a lot of chunky glitter, then yes I seal it with clear. If it's just a solid color cup or I don't mind the glitter moving around a little bit when I apply the first coat of epoxy, then no I don't seal it.
