Thank you for another great video Marina!
You are welcome anytime.
Another banger !! Moving places o email all the way from Kenya, also in the Uk everything na tax’s tax’s you get a portion back as a credit similar thing in the uk..they’ve tried to build it in a way that the rich and low income earners are equal and able to survive.
My sister, the ministry is moving, lol. Thanks for sharing that, good to know the systems are similar.
So much value. Tnx dear
Thank you for sharing these valuable tips Marina
You are welcome anytime😊
As always happy for the info .stay blessed
Always. Many thanks
This is so informative and helpful, these are some amazing benefits from the FG especially the child care, getting a portion of your tax paid back is amazing too ...

Glad to hear that. Many thanks
Thank you for chipping in parental leave and explaining it.
You bet! Thanks for watching
I love it when I see your uploads. To be honest with you I am glad and thankful that I live in the uk.it works pretty much the same here.you are absolutely correct I had a friend she gave birth in the US and asked her sister to be collecting the child care money on her behalf and she got into serious trouble. It’s not worth it at all.so far that child is not in the country it is very very risky and would land you in serious trouble.
Thank you marina for sharing super informative videos as always 👌
Oh wow, I even heard that the pay back is with interest. Not worth it if you ask me

Awesome! Thank you very much!
Looking fabulous Marina
Many thanks🥰
This is really nice, and the fact that it’s given to the mums 😁
Lol, yea it is. Thanks
Now I understand how the EI results in Parental/maternal leave. I've never really understood the whole thing.
55% monthly is good for 1 year.
I love how Canada assists with Child care benefits. I heard it drops on the 20th of each month 😁.
Your videos are explicit.
Thanks for explaining.
Thank you very much. Yes, CCB gets deposited around 19 - 20th each month. Thanks for watching
It is just a little help. The cost of living is very high in some cities and it is very expensive to raise your children if you work for a low wage. If you really want to raise your children with all the extra trimmings you have to earn a very large salary. Things are not cheap here.
I'm second i guess...lol! These benefits are heavenly.
Canada is not perfect but it thinks about its people and that's very commendable. You can see your taxes at work.
I'm the first today 💞🏃♀️
Welcome, welcome my geng
To pave way for people like us
This is so informative. It works the same way here, the low income earners get more more from the govt.
Thanks for sharing sis
That is good to know. Thanks for watching
Taking notes as usual 😂❤️
I got you anytime
Employment insurance would really have been helpful for job loss & businesses during this Covid but then, it's good for maternity & parental leave. That's quite interesting!.
Employment Insurance did kick in for people who lost their jobs to Covid and it helped a lot from what i heard. This is in addition to the schemes that they government set up to help people with incentives. it is well planned system.
@@MARINAESIRI Wowwww. That's great!
I'm following you everywhere ooh. You're really glowing. I'm coming to meet you in Saskatoon. 😆
lol, thank you very much
ThankGod for subsidies 💃🏾💃🏾
My sister, thank God for it.
Informative video. Please can you make a video about the banking system in Canada.
Got it. Will surely do.
When you said no one will lie for you. I think I know a country where they'd be willing to lie for you. Don't ask me what country o. The way you analysed this information, my prayer and fasting for Canada is increasing.
Sis, I am praying with you. I can just imagine you as my kids' teacher, my mind go reach ground😀
@@MARINAESIRI chai! My head is "bigging"
Weldone sis, it's always a pleasure viewing ur channel. Pls can u share more benefits one can get in Sasks. Thanks
I have a video about that. Subsidies in Saskatchewan, please check it out.
You looking beautiful , love the hair
Thanks you very much!
Nice video
Many thanks
🙌🙌🙌
Thanks a lot
Parental leave! Sounds really funny. But I love it.
Many thanks
Please, can you outline the HR certifications and which to take first.
Yes o, child care is so expensive here o!! Lol, that eligibility for newcomers from the last year in home country is hard o 🙆🏾♀️😩 because when you convert the income will be low especially if it’s in NGN
So true! But remember that the lower the income, the more benefits you can access. So newcomers are able to access a number of benefits before they start working.
MARINA ESIRI that’s true, how did I forget 🤦🏾♀️...even better 😂
I will like you to talk about my family benefits under PNP, I have been worried about this. Thanks 🥰
These benefits apply to all PRs and citizens regardless of how you became a PR. The other subsidies are province specific and I have made a video talking about the subsidies in SK.
👌👌🙌🙌👏
Thanks🥰
Hearing all these just makes me weep for my dear country Nigeria. God when?
This table has been scattered since sis. It is sad especially knowing that we can actually afford this. Some people have just decided their personal interests come first. Sad!
We are just answering big name🙄🙄
Unless your income is low, you don't get anything. Still packing my things to move to Canada. Thank you for sharing, it was detailed
Thanks for watching sis
Very informative thank you. Please how can one assess assisted living facility or home appliances in Saskatoon. A friend of mine landed in Alberta n got all her house properties free from St Vincent's de Paul.
I am interested in this too, pls Marina respond. Thanks
I have gotten this question before and i will look more into it. I know a number of churches have programs like that to help new comers and then Salvation Army also has things they do as well. They mainly depend on donations from people. I will look into this though
Thanks for helping out with this, I'm also interested, anything to ease our stay as first timers will go a long way.
Just found this channel and subscribed. So much value in this channel. Is this still ongoing?
Thank you very much. We are still here, going strong 🥰
Thank you Marina for this video, I will to let you know that I'm your new subscriber and I have watched almost all your videos. So my question is for someone who had stopped working for a yr or 2 prior landing in Canada how can such person apply for these benefits you mentioned?
First, thanks for subscribing. What route of migration are you using and who is the principal applicant? The benefits are given considering the net family income. if you are a PR, you should be able to access them.
Thanks for sharing sis. Valuable content as always 👏👏👏👏👏. Please can you also share provincial benefits for new comers in Saskatchewan?🙈🙈🙈 😀😀 I know I'm 'Oliver tweest' 😁
I already have. Please look through my channel - Subsidies in Saskatchewan.
@@MARINAESIRI okay, I'll check it out. Thanks a lot
Hi Marina what is CRA...very educative video
The Canada Revenue Agency
I wanna live there
I am determined more than ever before to leave Nigeria. My kids deserve more, God pls answer my call. Thanks for the info ma'am.
I felt this prayer in my soul. May God hear your cry and make a way.
Nigeria needs to throw their she greedy leaders into the ocean😑. I owe myself another nationality like I always say. Useful content💪
Our greedy leaders have cost us so much. Everyone deserves to experience a sane environment.
Childcare is something else abroad, the Childcare benefit actually goes a long way.
Tell me about it sis. Some people just work and use their income to pay daycare.
Thanks Marina, this information is very helpful. Can a single mum of 3 kid access all these?
If the person is a PR or a citizen, they definitely can.
Paternity leave in Nigeria.... if I hear😅😅😅. Thanks a lot for this, as always fully packed and well researched. These things ginger me to keep working towards living in a sane country.
Please do quick so that we order fine fine dresses biko
MARINA ESIRI 😅😅😅 🏃🏽♀️
There’s paternity leave in Nigeria. 10 days, all organizations I’ve worked in give that to people.
Hello Marina. pls do u have an idea on how the AIPP programme works?
This is outside my primary area of expertise at this time. Please Canada Info Hub here on UA-cam, she has talked a lot about it. You should find the answers you need.
Hi Marina, this is Ezekiel from Ghana. Please can you do a video on how to move your spouse and kids from Africa to Canada after you get your PR, the requirements and the process?
Thanks so much
Do you mean after studying in Canada? Please send an email to Marina.esiri@gmail.com
The CRA also adds interest per day on top of the claw back. Lol
For real? Didnt even know that
Does this mean that straight from Maternity leave, you start accessing your Employment insurance? Because here in Nigeria, you get paid your actual salary while on your 3 months Maternity leave
Here, you get maternity leave payments for the first 17 weeks and then parental leave benefits kick in after that.
Thanks dear Marina. So in the case where the parent are yet to land a job how will their income be deternined for the children to benefit since there is no tax to file... or will they tax ones POF
The net family income from the last year in their home country will be used.
Hi Marina thanks for the info. Pls ill like to know does accepting any of these benefits affects ones eligibility to sponsor a family member? Thanks
No it doesn't. These are federal benefits and wont affect anything; you are eligible for this benefit as far as you are a PR or a citizen. There are other provincial benefits that are mainly for low income earners. If you are on a lot of social assistance, it may impact your eligibility to sponsor anyone else. Because if the govt is paying most of your bills, it will be assumed that you don't have the capacity to take care of anyone else.
@@MARINAESIRI thanks for your response. I was just worried coz i saw a clause on the spousal sponsorship eligibility that states ''you are not eligible to sponsor your spouse if you are receiving any federal benefits''. So i kinda got confused if child benefits will also affect.
@@adedoyinsolaadediran6710 those benefits typically refer to social assistance. Where the govt is paying a portion of your bills because you cant afford it. I doubt that it includes childcare benefit.
@@marinaiyeme-eteng4344 Ok thanks again 😊😊😊😊. Love your channel. Keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍
Hi. Awesome video.
If I am just a student with only a study permit and work permit without permanent residency or citizenship, will I be able to access any of these benefits?
As an international student, you have to be here for at least 18months to access Childcare benefits. Not sure about the others
No
I paid into the Employment Insurance for decades and never really used it. I once got 1 month assistance from it decades ago. The whole Canadian system is set up as a Peter pay for Paul system. Whether you have children or not, you do pay taxes for the school boards. I think the only thing that everybody really gets as a personal benefit after paying all the taxes is not having to worry about paying for their doctor's visits, most lab tests, hospital stays and other medical expenses. The Canadian government website is also very informative and detailed, but people are unaware of this. It is a pity that they don't do a lot of reading when planning to come to the country. You are doing a good job by letting people know the pros and cons. The unfortunate thing is, it is a type of socialist system and some people take advantage of all that is provided and never try to educate themselves to get a decent job. There are too many free bees for lazy people as far as I am concerned.
His work Visa means PR
I will take an expensive healthcare fee provided that the service is there compared to paying huge fees for nothing!
Right Luckily we have free basic healthcare in most provinces in Canada; taxes at work so it is hard to complain. Thanks sis
Can one access these benefits immediately you land or you would have been in Canada for some months? Expecially the child benefit, what's the payment like with 2 children ages 2 and 6 months?
Yes you can apply for benefits immediately and the amount you can access totally depends on your family income.
Hello Marina, are there Canadian human resource certifications that can be taken outside of Canada ? What are the job prospects in that field.
HR is a field that there will always be prospects in if you ask me. For the certification, you can take it from anywhere but it is cheaper to take it here as a PR.
Thanks for d reply. Please what the HR certifications in d order they should be taken.
Good day ma, I sent you a mail.
I have a bit of a backlog. I will get to it as soon as i can.
O
I am just saying Hmmm... Naija!
God will help us in naija.
Also had to ask Nigeria, when? Does Canada have 2 heads 😑
Just knowing that we have the resources to actually do this is the most painful part. One head everywhere ooo
Pls what are the benefits temporary Residents enjoy?
not a lot. You can access childcare benefits after 18 months in Canada
Ok
Thank you ma
