Thanks Marina for the video. Most banks will not employ anybody as a Financial Services Rep if you have not passed IFC. Infact it is put as one of the requirements for recuitment selection.It is only one of the big 5 banks i hear that does it and it is based on a case by case basis and if you are seen to have any added value with which you will be given a 90 day window to pass the IFC. It is the customer service role (Tellering) that passing IFC is not required.
Thanks for the info. When did this change? I know that as recently as late last year and early this year before Covid, a number of them still paid for IFCs for new recruits.

Most people will consider your experience and not only your degree so you should be good. Keep your options open for additional training if need be though.
No, CSC is more extensive than IFC, With IFC certification u can only advice on mutual funds and basic personal finance to clients With CSC certification u can advice on all types securities available to clients. IFC certification only requires u to clear a single exam CSC certification requires u to clear two exams. U can directly write CSC exams without IFC

Totally depends on the bank and the level. Not one i can guess a salary for.
Can iternational student apply only for a parttime job ?can it fit in his/her schedule?
totally depends on the individual. International can work up to 20 hours a week. I t is up to the student to manage their time appropriately.
