Logitech Wingman Extreme Joystick Faulty Potentiometer Z Axis Yaw Fix / Replacement / Repair

These joysticks are over 20 years old now. So the pots get worn out.
You cant buy exact replacement pots that have the shape of the 'knob' on the mid section that sticks out, which you need, as that slots into the inside of the handle of the joystick, and that's what twists. (Yaw)
So I bought a new pot, and made a hybrid; using the base of a new pot + the old mid section and the old knob.
I bought the replacement pot from mouser:

What's that tool you are using there to show the different signal readings?

On the screen? That was from in Microsoft flight simulator.
But if you dont have flight simulator, you can use the USB game controller setup in control panel in windows.
If you meant the physical tool connected to the potentiometers, its a multimeter, set to ohms.
