How to Install JUST Nvidia Graphics Drivers ( Without Geforce Experience / Bloatware. No 3rd Party

- How to install nvidia graphics drivers ONLY without geforce experience / bloatware. No 3rd party driver installer software needed.
1. Download the driver file from nvidia
2. Open the exe
3. Click extract (important: take note of the extraction location, you will need this later)
4. Let the installer open, do not proceed, just leave it open
5. Go to the location discussed in step 3 to check the nvidia folder has been created
6. Open device manager, right click install drivers, manually from my computer
7. Browse to the location discussed in step 3 (the exact file is not needed, select the main folder "DisplayDriver" and then tick "include subfolders"
If you are updating your drivers, use display driver uninstaller first, then do as the video says

Good point, yes.
Although it would probably still work if you didnt, you'd probably have all the nvidia bloatware already installed if you are just updating and not doing a fresh install, which kinda defeats the purpose of this video.

that was so easy??? i tried to update through device manager but it didnt have the latest driver in the list. i didnt use geforce experience because for some reason its showing a driver from 2021. a frustrating hour until i found this video, thanks mate

i didnt even realize i need this really thanks for this. windows is so dumb when installing drivers specially on gpu. in my case the windows overlaps the updated gpu that i already updated on nvidia when there is a new update on windows. its so dumb and atrocious because it gives me that BSOD with no workaround but to reinstall all windows all over again. windows need to compensate your efforts ma friend

hi, just came across your video after already having installed nvidia (without geforce experience). wish i saw urs first. the guy in the other video i watched didn't say anything about remembering the file path for people who install nvidia this way, so idk mine... my version is newer and i'm on windows 11.
do you think it would be ok if i just browsed to "C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\546.17\Win11_64\International" after clicking "update driver"? i didn't change the path when initially installing. if it's wrong, would it mess up my computer? thanks in advance and this is a really helpful video that i will remember for next time!

I don't think it will mess up your computer it will either find the driver and work, or not find the driver and say driver not found.

Hi man you probably could but who knows what else nvidia is installing in the background (tracking and analytics data harvesting) . This way garantuees nothing else at all will be installed.
For context; I discovered this method a few years ago back when nvidia forced you to have an account with them just to install drivers which I absolutely hated out of principle.
'Debloating' and lightweight operating systems and software seems to be a hot topic among gamers these days trying to get maximum fps and less lag, so I thought I'd post this video as it's about as lightweight as you can get.

nvidia is really ass. my login never works... when i call tec support they tell me to not try my password to many times so i get locked out for 30 mins so i wait 2 hours try once reset my password still doesnt work. tried for about 6 days no bueno 10/10 company cant even make a simple login.
For real. That's kinda what made me come up with this method. Why the f do I need an account just to download a driver. Stupid company
can you delete the extracted folder after installing the display driver
It auto deletes itself when you close the installer. Watch the end of the video
@@rattech it's neat but what about shadowplay. how can it be installed without logging in.
amd drivers are so much better, everything is all in one place, no logging in, and amd relive has the option to use system memory as the replay buffer for recording so it's not constantly read/write to the ssd, killing it faster
@@fundamentalsiege not sure bro I'd imagine shadow play is actual software so would need installing. Not as simple as having windows install a driver for you.
Maybe have a look through the self extracted folder and look for files related to shadow play? I'm just guessing here. I don't need or use it.

This is for any windows computer that has a nvidia made graphics card. I'm not sure I understand your question.

why does bro not countinue instead he does it manually instead he couldve just countinued in the installer and clicked advanced when it wants u to download in the installler and then u can select what u wanna download and u can just select the driver itself the hd audio driver and other stuff so thats just more work for u
