When i was a kid i had two cheap stereo's that i played my guitar through. I played into the aux on one and ran the speaker output into the aux on the other which completely overloaded the preamp stage and i swear it sounded exactly like this pedal!

I had a kenwood tape deck that the drive stopped working so I used it as an amplifier similar without the glitching but when overdriving it was similar. I just ordered one of these third man plasmas. I’ve been looking at the other ones for a while now.
Lol..i did this too.
I had a TEAC tape deck hooked to a Marantz reciever. I would plug my guitar into the MIC input and turn the record input knob all the way up and peg the record meter, this made the guitar heavely distort.
What I love about Rabea is that you can notice he does these reviews because he really thinks it’s fun and not to make money of it alone. Keep it up man. God bless :)
It’s like a HIFI distortion/fuzz. You can hear every note played despite the wall of sound. Really awesome sounding pedal.
It's shrill AF and not in a pleasant way. No wonder these things haven't been used much outside of niche play.

Super awesome video man! I find it cool to see how one artist approaches another's creation. Like is a blues man, and your style is quite different, so the adaptation of this thing to what you like to do is awesome.

Ordered the original plasma pedal as soon as I heard it last year. Awesome, over the top distortion. This is a new animal! Damn my wallet is not going to be pleased.
Luckily back then I got it for $150 and it came numbered signed! It's like $300 US now 😅

I tried the original Plasma Drive, and it is amazing. One of these days, I need to A/B it against this, so I will know which one to get.
I don’t know if it’s just me but there seems to be a weird background noise from the fuzz. It could just be ‘part of the sound’ and probably something you wouldn’t really notice when you’re the player. But once you hear it, it’s hard not to. Awesome playing as usual though Bea!

I get the feeling that a single coil pickup guitar, like the Strat would sound & track better with the Octave effects on....

Everybody in the comments is hyping up his strat run-through so hard, but I actually preferred the other 2 guitars with it most. They + the pedal sound a lot wilder and less generic than with the strat, in my opinion. Oh shoot right after I typed that he went into the nasty nasty nasty nasty nasty nasty nasty part at 19:15 . Holy shit rabea think my ears are still ringing after that pedal holy crap, Question for you basically am at the beginner stage going to intermediate stage now on my journey, And i have a tele one like yours but in black version and no mods on it dont know what model is though lol, And a washburn bd40r amp not the greatest amp in the world also a noob when it comes to guitar amps etc, So my teacher has said to me in the past with the gain level hes said that if you go past say 12 o clock lets say you start to loose the clarity and detail what ever it is your playing is that true ?, so he advises that i go no more than say 3-5 on the dials, Still trying to get used to how it sounds along with the selector switch and dials on my guitar, so what would you say is the best level to set gain at based on your experience or do i need to upgrade my amp ?
