I'm a violinist obsessed with pitch shifters (like most electric violinists, frankly)... Always been a fan of Coppersound stuff, but this is next level. Bravo!
Funny! My father (and his father) spent his entire career at Western Union. He started as telegraph operator and used a 'key' also called a 'bug' to send and receive messages across the nation/world. We still have several of his keys that look exactly like this product. Inspiration comes in many forms from many places. Cool.
quite possibly the most Jack White pedal ever made,it's a digital pitch shifter with old timey buttons. The only way it could get more Jack White-y is if it had some kind of theremin controlled gated fuzz.
Wow, I didn't expect much from this and thought it might be gimmicky, but it sounds incredible! I will definitely have to start saving up for one, I would love to have one on my board. Very cool to see companies taking risks and innovating like this, the electric guitar still has so much life left to live!
Of all the UA-camrs I watch, none of them can really dig into a pedal and come out with their own ideas while also showing off the functions quite like Andy. There’s enough ideas and licks in this video alone to develop multiple songs, thank you for another awesome demo Andy!
My dad learned Morse at 17, on the Navy ship taking his Army unit to Europe near the end of WWII. He then became a radio actor at a castle base in Germany, broadcasting entertainment to the troops and German people. After his service he became a lifelong radio personality. Early on he worked the morning shift after Alan Freed, Freed worked the midnight shift here in Cleveland. Dad would have laughed his a** off at this pedal. And probably told me to get it, lol. It sounds fantastic!
It looks too good to be stomping on it constantly... XDDDD (and sounds great too, it's a wonderful idea, tbh). Edit: great demo as always, Andy. Stomping the like button right now! :)
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodBallsack It depends. I've seen effects that do less and cost more. I think the craftsmanship in this effect is superb. And, man, polyphonic octave up/down? That's no easy feat. I think this effect is worth the price. But that's just my opinion.
@@damianvila Yeah, the effects ALONE might not cover the full 399 dollars but the effort that went into the design really makes the price understandable. Those typography style pedals look stunning and must feel so good to stomp on!

I'm not that into pitch shifting to compare, but the functions seem to be pretty basic (putting sound quality, design originality and tracking possibility aside). isn't every pitch shifter + AB switcher (with latching button) can do this? I really don't know, please tell.
Июльское Утро You need 2 polyphonic pitch shifters, an AB box AND a way to parallel your dry signal, not to mention 3 9v power supply slots to achieve the same flexible effect and switching. There would be a lot more noise that way too.
Class looking pedal, great demo, but the latency is something that really bugs me... Of course this is not unique to the Triplegraph and is a 'feature' of all digital poly octave pedals. For octave down I prefer analogue octavers
Hey David, Jordan from CopperSound here. I love analogue octavers, too! They're awesome. When we designed this with Jack, we didn't want any delay or lag in the octave tracking. That's why our high-power DSP is able to keep up with any speed of playing and track spotlessly without latency as Andy mentioned. What are some of your favorite pedals that have octave down?
@@jordan.collins Shit, Hi Jordan! I didn't expect the pedal manufacturer to be lurking in the comments section :) I missed Andy's comment about the zero latency - kudos. Maybe it's something other than latency I'm hearing then. I tend to find something kind of jarring with all poly octavers I've heard so far. I've listened to tonnes of demos, own a POG and, while it's great, there's something about the upper octave in particular that doesn't grab me, perhaps it's some aliasing? I'm not sure... It's a sound of it's own I suppose, and Jack White certainly puts it to good use. As for analogue octave down, I've only had the opportunity to try OC-2 derivatives and an EHX Multiplexer (we don't have easy access to too many brands in Ireland). The EHX won out for me, it just sounded more 'obnoxious' maybe, or 'gnarly' and works great with overdrive more than fuzz I find... Well done on a great pedal though, it does looks amazing - love the switches!
@@daithibailey Just figured it would be good for clarification. I LOVE EHX! They make some amazing pedals. Hugely influenced by them and their amazing company. One of our favorite stores in Ireland is Someneck Guitars in Dublin. Have you been?
In this crowded pedal marketplace there is still room for originality and innovation
Awesome, Cant wait to hear about it. In The meantime, i guess we're stuck with this goofy jack white octave pedal thingy..
Tom Morello did this in the early 90's.

Agile toe tapping The drums are killer Such a cool pedal
I can actually see using this... I've been genuinely impressed by the Jack White Pedal Collabs.
I used to say nothing comes close to the digitech whammy...but this looks and sounds great. That middle kill switch for the effects loop is pure gold.
Man this pedal sounds amazing! The octave pitch and tracking are really impressive! Great video, Andy!
I think the guitarist from the White Stripes would love this pedal
Jack Black right?
ahah you made me giggle
If I ever challenged Andy to a guitar contest, my first (and only) move would be a pick-scrape.
Haha, well played! That would file my nails up nice 👍🏻

This thing is badass. The effect loop with the killswitch to me is what makes it so unique and very practical... I think this will only go up on value
When i first heard the pedal, I thought it could be very hard to demo this pedal. But Andy is always the man.
I came looking for a badass demo of this pedal. Not disappointed and also found a fellow Gray owner!
I dont know how you make such impressive demos each and every time, but I'm glad you do! Another amazing video from you!
