In a world where everyone is trying to bring back the "good ole days", any innovation is refreshing and welcome. I love it. And the pedal has some great sounds in it.
Can't wait to see all the different ways people use this pedal, it's going to be a tough few weeks waiting on the preorder! Loving all these demos, you can see how much fun everyone's been having experimenting with it, they really knocked this pedal out of the park!
After watching all the reviews, Chris Buck/Anderson’s/Pete Thorn. I was still on the fence, due to the cost. I was waiting for your review most of all, because this pedal really shines as an ambient tool in the arsenal. You never disappoint, I got to see exactly what this pedal can do and some great ideas on how to layer it with my current pedals. Watching your videos has really brought me more inspiration and focus towards my playing and tone. I have some great reverb pedals that work well with the soundscapes I create, but I feel they lack the authenticity of a natural spring sound. This pedal has the authenticity and much more. I can’t wait to try it out.
Having watched several of these reviews, yours is one of the best especially in terms of letting the pedal talk but also explaining what language it is speaking; well done sir!
Rabea, I love the pedal will get one on order. I wanted to congratulate you on your interview in this month's Guitar Player magazine it's awesome! the 50 years of Prog rock issue Well done brother!
I absolutely loved the feedback mode, but because sometimes the harmonics accentuated by the reverb were in conflict or "out of tune" with what you play! The clash between the odd notes in the reverb and the chords is what peaked my interest!
This pedal is worth the price just for the “normal” spring sounds! An unbelievable piece of product development. If you havent watched the vid on the Gamechanger channel about the development of the pedal Id recommend it! It’s so interesting and the fella is so clever
The Spring knob controls the traditional spring reverb. The pedal can be used just like an old fashioned traditional spring reverb. The OPTICAL brings in a second reverb that is being controlled by the light sensors. The different light sensors detect the vibrations of the actual spring and use that detected vibration to create the signal for the different light modes. Different light sensors detect different parts along the length of the springs. Then the modes change the modulation of the effect for the optical part of the reverb. The gate is center 0 and to the left is MORE gate and to the right it is in reverse.
Super informative. I bought this about a month ago as I was looking for a natural reverb sound. Innovative, cool pedal and you broke it down perfectly as always. Thanks!
hey i know I’m late but I don’t have a reverb on my pedalboard, is it the thing to buy if you want some traditional reverb/reverb you can go crazy into and experiment/songwrite around?
Man!!! that pedal rules. First thing i though after you added the capital chamber is: that pedal in a loop of the gigrig in the stereo pedal board with the strymons.......what a sweet combo!!
My very first thought was what about being a spring and potentially noisy when bumped, especially if it was on a pedal board, but I’m glad they addressed that!
Found my answer. Wet signal is definitely a result of the optical sensors picking up spring tank vibration. The sweeping light indicates where the optic sensor is "seeing" the vibration. The lights are only indicators. All said, this IS a new school reverb creation. Brilliant! Source video: ua-cam.com/video/s0ba_pDfIu8/v-deo.html
@Rabea could you try to hook it up with quad cortex and your victory kraken capture, Will it act and sound very similar to your rig in this video?? , i am really digging this pedal
Game Changer Audio - Genghis Light Pedal, basically this but with bit more detailed Delay controls to get the full package plus the typical Toska-esque artwork on it Saying that because of your reaction to the Delay styled reverb settings
Hey Bea, hope all is well mate! I am not a post-rock, ambient, shoe-gaze or whatever player, but I've been absolutely inspired by your sound. I've tried to build a small board using a CBA Bliss Factory, CTC Splash Reverb, Dophix Michelangelo OD/Distortion, OBNE Visitor and Keeley Eccos... But I also usually play at night and can't really turn up above bedroom levels. I do have a Waza Air Wireless, but as big as it sounds, I prefer the sound of my amp. Would you say that you can't really get that atmospheric sound at low volume, am I chasing something unobtainable unless I can turn up? BTW... Loved this demo, just like all of your others. Your playing is beautiful and truly inspiring.
Looks and sounds awesome. But I’m such a simpleton when it comes to using effects. Other than a Wah pedal, I just use the reverb, delay and effects in my amp 90% of the time. When I use pedals that have so many settings, I end up spending more time messing with the pedal than actually playing music. Lol
The word of the day is: Midi-er 😉 🤘🤠🤘 If the sensors do more than look cool with the lights... Sensing spring vibration or light responses? then doing what? Showing a nice light to go with the great sounds? Or actually affecting the sounds? In other words, LIGHTS for a gimmick?, (even though it sounds amazing?) Or lights affecting the sound? I think it sounds brilliant. Aren't the lights just to add visual appeal? A visual meter? Crap! You just said, "gimmick" Enough. Lol You beez the best Bee
Working on my upcoming album for months and I have an exact similar chord progession (the one you use a lot in the first half of the video)...I hate you with Love ahahhah ! Greetings from fench Alps
Sorry guys I didn’t watch the whole thing, But can’t the big sky or blue sky etc do the same thing or even better? Apart from looking cool, what use does the light have?
Innovation drives market prices on initial entry of nearly any product, and money drives innovation. Eventually copies come out, and the original manufacturer then drops prices. Economics are annoying, but time should sort it out. Unless someone famous uses it then we're screwed! 🙃🤭
Great demo although with all the expensive awesome gear you play out of you could make a $30 Amazon reverb pedal sound like a $349 game changer audio reverb 😆
It sounds sometimes like their "plus" pedal. Interesting, different from pure digital stuff, probably too mono for me. A king of "mystic sounding" if that make sense...
It’s not free to me, I paid my editor to edit the video. Didn’t get paid to shoot the video. Free isn’t payment, it’s free. They got a free product from me making a video about their pedal for you guys to watch for free. Get it right bro

Yeeeeeeah so well put. Could not agree more.
So so true....I want something to inspire me and play something different.....I DONT WANT ANOTHER FUCKING TUBESCREAMER CLONE hahahah
Feedback mode has to be one of the most beautiful sounds in the universe.
I’d buy it for that mode alone
I need to record this part as my morning alarm :D
This pedal and I have something in common we both light up when Rabea plays
I always love it when you get lost in an ambient sound, carries me away every time. Could listen to you playing a single sound for hours.
Man that Lo-fi sort of sound is gorgeous, I feel that would be immense for your ambient playing you do.
That abasi in the back looks noice

You're the first person I've seen to get the feedback setting to work musically. Well done.

Thanks Rabea. I’ve been overlooking this company and their innovative designs. Going to grab this one for the feedback mode alone!
Feedback and reflect mode are so musical, sounds very inspiring

This is such a unique sounding reverb
Could definitely take another Ambient Noodling video using the feedback setting on this. Beautifully serene.
I could listen to him just noodling on that thing for hours...
My very first thought was what about being a spring and potentially noisy when bumped, especially if it was on a pedal board, but I’m glad they addressed that!
Hey Rabea .... Thanks for the incredible information and video... ..Love
definitly need a full overview of your signal chains and IR's you use in all your videos, tone is always the best i hear on any channel
Finally non-digital reverb in a box👍😊❤️
Rabea, thank you for inspiring me to get off my lazy backside and get back into my guitar playing. You're a legend.
Cool sounds. With an octave pedal this otta be pretty awesome to play with bass as well. I would guess at least.
Love gamechanger pedals! I have the plasma, sustain, light reverb, and the bigsby. Big believer you get what you pay for!! All their pedals!

So far I think you are the only one that has understood the feedback mode on this thing!
The feedback mode reminds me of the typewriter room from resident evil 4

Awesome as always! Great review man.
What a great sounding pedal. Thanks!

Awesome review, the only thing that would really bring it to the next level would be presets and stereo
Agree about spring reverbs
Groundbreaking, creative and totally new ... oooh! o_0
Do the LED's provide different resistance into the circuit at different settings?

Yeah man, sounds cool but I'm waiting for the Darkverb version....\m/
I can’t wait to try one out.
Please do the Hologram Electronics Microcosm next! I would love to see the tonal options you would get on that bad boy!
Wicked Awesome !
If this were stereo, it would be a done deal.
Get two lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Enough. Lol
You beez the best Bee
Stay away from the big hair band electric sockets, maybe get some of those rock N roll posable action figure safety caps
💣💥💯
I could listen to hours and hours of Bea playing around with that lo-fi reverb setting...so soothing
Can I borrow it for a bit. You know, try before you buy kinda thing. Thx Bea, you're an awesome guy.
I wonder if it sounds like a bomb explosion if you bump it?
Working on my upcoming album for months and I have an exact similar chord progession (the one you use a lot in the first half of the video)...I hate you with Love ahahhah ! Greetings from fench Alps
I spot an Abasi there... When did you get that?
How am I just finding out about this thing is epic
Great video Rabea .
Once again.
What is going on with the latest track you write with Toska?
We are waiting!!!!!😊
pretty cool bea
Hmmm but will we see an amp/pedal tier list soon? 👀
Sorry guys I didn’t watch the whole thing,
But can’t the big sky or blue sky etc do the same thing or even better?
Apart from looking cool, what use does the light have?
Try and capture it with your quad cortex!
Now that's awesome
my brain melted.
Nice Demo of a Nice pedal but too many knobies for me, but I am in love with your strat what is it, please Rabea
It’s a 55 custom shop with Bareknuckle pickups.
@@bennyharderguitar I thought he put the original pickups back in it?
Late to the party here, but I’m pretty sure you just kicked my DBA Rooms off my board. Gotta have one of these now.
did he play to build a home at the very start?
Hey Bea, sounds beautiful man
love itt mannnnn
Another awesome video! Curious to why your picture for the video looks like you just farted something fierce lol!
Sick! 🤓
Does this pedal have presets at all?
5 minutes into the presentation I say let us hear the dang thing already -)
Question: which bear is best?
This pedal has a lot of Steven Wilson type tones.
Nobody commented on the ABASI guitar in the background??
excuse me is that an abasi larada i see
Hi, nice video.
Mmm Rabea that's a lot of money for a reverb with pretty lights?

it sounds difficult to control
20:00 straight up diablo 1 hah
You could say this pedal is a game changer. Please don’t block me.
Too late. I’m already dialing the police.

problem is how to save your very own preference you've made...
Cool gimmick, great sound, shame about the price tag...
Yeah you wonder who will buy one really? Pretty lights though!
Wasn't the plasma that expensive pedal that make pro gear sound as bad as my really cheap transistor amp? I wonder. 🤔
Yes, like the first fuzz was an expensive pedal that made pro gear sound as bad as a broken cabinet
@@xadovitch6630 I think most fuzz pedals still do. Or they have a pretty narrow sweet spot.

Your hair looks like spring reverb 😁
👽 phone home.
I think this is a gimmick.
I honestly don’t understand the need for this?
...if anyone could tell, please do!
total BS pedal nice vid though bea
