these are not signature pedals, he owns a company that makes pedals (Third Man Hardware) and all of them are made in collaboration with some other company. His name is there to sell them based on our idea of what his sound is / should be
You listened to Tame Impala? You might like it if you like Synth heavy stuff. Gorillaz also have a super wide variety of music that you’ll definitely be guaranteed to find something you like.
A lot of comments comparing this to weirder PPL stuff. That's not what this is. This appears to be a digital device tracking and creating audio combined with analog distortion--with really musical style filtering and distortion routing that (to me anyway) feel a lot more usable. I love PPL circuits as much as anyone but they're very different from this.
@@DerpRulesAll I agree, doesn't sound that different, but at the same time I do think it sounded more useful to me in the context of making songs / playing with a band. I love the EQ Data Corrupter....but I'd be more likely to jam with one of these in a band context. As cool as PPL type pedals are I almost never see them used live or even hear them on that many recordings (that I know of). I think the filter / distortion routing options alone make this more appealing. Just my two cents here.
Yeah… 100 years ago I had an EH Micro Synth. They started making them in 1979, I believe. Sounds pretty much the same. This one seems to track better, but honestly, the sub octave glitchiness of the micro synth was one of the coolest parts about it.
This pedal looks neat. My friends don’t wanna hear my songs when I try sounding normal.. maybe I should just be completely feral? Y’all ever feel like, “Everybody cares, but nobody loves me!”? I don’t. 14:49 was the coolest thing inside this pedal.. nice.
@@fadingdestination maybe…and this is just a suggestion…..trying writing better composition…..pushing your abilities on your instrument….if that doesn’t work…..you might want to try bowling.
Does anyone know any other pedals that can get similar sounds? I know the Eventide H90 as well as the Digitech Dirty Robot. I have overdrive and fuzz covered on my board so I’m looking for the synth, filter and octave in a single pedal hopefully at a lower cost.
Seriously... I loved Jack's ( White Stripe ) Delta blues + Balls to the wall (( Original)) delivery. & Ethos. However, { This particular demo } Honestly sounds .... Not so good. Really ?? EVENTIDE Made the the worst digital Envelope filter/Fuzz & ??? However. I DID hear a ( P G ) Gear review W/ Bollinger getting some bowl shaking cool ass sound. Sooo, This NEEDS to be demoed by Jack. Hey. Just being REAL.
@Ottophil Check it out, it's a rubber bag, filled with air. You get someone to sit on it, and it makes a sound like they farted! It's $299 anyplace that sells guitar pedals. 🤨
I love fuzz and octave effects as much as anybody but whenever Third Man or JW collab on a pedal you already know what it’s going to do. Lame as hell. Do better.
I think he’s definitely the artist with the most signature pedals at this point

@@juanjan__ definitely well put I was aware if this but his name attached it definitely like you said helps sell
@@juanjan__ the Donner pedals are absolutely made in China and not by Third Man
Pedals? He has a whole line of Fender amps, and a line of guitars...
@@ab8817none of them are made by third man, third man collaborate in design but all the manufacture is done by the brand they collaborate with
Really need more reviews that include a bass. Seriously this thing could do some amazing work on the low end!
Reminds me of era vulgaris. Something along those lines.
This demo was better than most pop music produced in the last ten years

The hate is insane for such a sick pedal. That first riff showing off the octave just hit the spot
typo in the title, still got time to fix it before anyone sees
No, this is the world's first pedalr.
Auto tune the title
lol, thank you
they already back PEDALED and fixed it😂

But it sounds like the same ol' same ol'. And that's what counts, not what components make it up.
Do you mean PLL (phase locked loop)? This does sound more stable.

Clock work orange vibes!!

I have a Digitech Dirty Robot. It sounds about like this one.
second this, digitech has more paramaters + second mode + it's also polyphonic (idk if this is poly but he's only playing single notes)
Yup reminds me of the synth wah i had which came before dirty robot

Reminds me of a Moog Rogue I had a while ago... curious if it works on bass.
I need to make prog with this!
Get an h9 and you got this and more.
Thank Gawd I have Fuzz pedals and synths
sounds amazing
very nice pedal!
You'd really need to understand it so that you could get the good tones and stay away from the bad tones.
All the positivity in the PG rig rundown for JW, and yet everybody here seems really not into this pedal, lol.
Wow!

Thats cool.
Aaaand how much will this one cost?
Guulp...
Cool.
I have other pedals that do stuff as well
Shine on you crazy diamond
Is this poly or monophonic?
I think he did hit more than one note here and there and it did glitch out, so monophonic.
they gentrified the Weirding Module!???
I really hoped it could do the Whammy pitch shifting stuff via MIDI CC, but octaves can only be toggled. Otherwise amazing pedal, sadly not for me.
Quak quak quak, squeek squeek...
Definitely hearing some Jack White tones, but more so me Adam Jones. Especially in the octives and transitions.
Must be Octave Fuzz season … …
USB Micro in 2024? Lol
bring Andy back
Dang this thing is fat. I have no need for it but someone will be happy shredding it.
I hear tobacco
Same old stuff, EHX Micro Synth
Trader Joes strikes again.
Mini USB? 🤢
sounds like farts
That's what I call Fuzz pedals, Fart pedals. Makes it harder to buy all of them.
You should take your butt on the road.
😂😂😂fuck 😂😂😂😂stop I just shit my pants . More knobs to farts more and more for diahrea
WHAT are you eating?!?!
@crimsonwring2723 A plant based diet 😆

Yikes synth effects just cannot sound good huh
I think it's the woeful tuning of guitar in general! I am as guilty as anyone not throwing shade but yes they all sound a bit out of tune lol
@ i was bothered by how fuckin boring the long swells with env filter he kept doing. Just sounds like shit haha
Big pass on anything to do with Eventide... Next...
Can I ask why? Cheers!
Get a synth already.
Yep, because this hasn't been done to d€ath.
So what new sounds have you invented?

What other pedals are doing something similar with this level of tracking? I'm legit not super familiar with this world and am open to suggestions.
Sounds silly
Sounds horrible 😂
Not really into this tone at all… 😞
CRAP

Just what the world needs. Another boomer octave/fuzz.
Not wow…Earthquakes Data Corrupter makes this lame.
Any PLL for that matter
The EQD is a handful!
The synth9 also does this
