One of the coolest power reveals in a comic book I've ever read is in Old Man Logan. Wolverine and Hawkeye are driving across an area where dinosaurs from the Savage Land are roaming free. The Venom symbiote takes over a T-Rex and chases them. Just as it's about to catch them, a man in a cloak steps out, looks at the T-Rex, and whispers "stop." The force of him speaking hits the T-Rex, rips the Venom symbiote right out of it, and renders it unconscious. So you can make Black Bolt's powers look really cool. But why would you make something cool when you could make it boring and stupid instead?
Similarly one of my favorite Black Bolt moments also comes from owning Venom. There’s this What If story where the Venom symbiote fully bonds with Spider-Man and sucks all the vitality and power from him, then starts jumping from hero to hero doing the same. Eventually he ends up on Hulk (or maybe Thor, I can’t remember) and the heroes corner him in a cave under Mount Rushmore. You see a silhouette walk in and the big scary overpowered Venom gets terrified. It’s Black Bolt. He screams and explodes all of Mount Rushmore and intentionally leaves Venom on deaths door. Then Black Cat zaps it with a little laser and finishes it off.

Sir that is some quality wordplay and I salute you.
When this show came out I was like "oh cool I remember hearing about the inhumans I bet the powers in this show are cool" and then they basically got rid of everyone's powers in like 10 minutes lol it was so clear it was a thing that they didn't want to animate Medusa's hair the entire season so they cut it immediately, and they didn't want to keep doing special effects for Hoofman so hes new boot goofin for the rest of the show, they didn't want to keep doing future vision CG for Future Vision Man so they have him hit his head and lose the ability, crystal hardly uses her powers throughout the season, it was all just so boring and poorly written so much of it makes zero sense I hate it
The Inhumans will always be Marvel's attempt to churn out fresh and interesting superpowers after running out of unique origin stories and just before they gave up and created mutants and could forgo explaining everything by saying "born that way." The Inhumans remind me of a toy you'd find only in a grocery store. Inside the wrapper, you'd find a colored stone, a sphere, an egg, or something similar that would reveal a unique plastic trinket after you, say, left it in water or ate it. Once you had uncovered the hidden "treasure," you were supposed to play with it, but honestly, the reveal was the best part.

IIRC, Buck got Inhumans after Iron Fist. Part of why season 2 of Iron Fist was not by him. A lot of people joked that he used this show to take a paid vacation. And it was weekly release. I vaguely recall hearing that. But once you know it was Buck, you know WHY powers were rarely used or negated (he thinks they're silly) and why the characters are unlikable. Overall, the whole series has a few small good bits but its drowned in people who don't care about the characters, wanted an excuse to chill in Hawaii, and was pushed forward by Ike no matter what others wanted. Its no surprise it was disowned and thrown into a side pit to rot.
I don't you guys to come back to this... I WANT BEN TO COME BACK TO THIS!!!! He needs to provide this audience a FULL highly styled edited review!!!!! And then you guys come back to it.

Originally Adam Brashear was supposed to appear in the series and encounter Black Bolt. However, this was changed as in the comics, Adam Brashear is known as the hero Blue Marvel. Producers for the series thought this was too close to Blue Harvest, which was the original title for Star Wars.
When you realize the reason this is the first video for the year because James used this for the beginning of another year so he could recycle the line “we are back for the new year” Classic mr Sunday movies
Can we all admit that if the inhumans were properly hanfled, it woyld have completely changed the MCU for the better? The inhumans are an over all fantastic comic book franchise if you actually take the time to get to know the lore and read the books instead of jumping on the hate bandwagon that the X men fans pushed.
I was really hoping this was an indication that you might talk about the other Marvel series before Disney+, the Netflix series, Cloak and Dagger and Runaways, I've decided to watch them recently no matter how bad they might be lol.
Runaways was … a show. I didn’t watch the third season and I don’t even remember the second season. Something about drilling a hole ? Seemed like a very LA problem that you’d be interested or concerned about drilling in an urban environment. Very odd issues.
I was a big fan of Agents of SHIELD & they did a lot of inhumans-stuff on that show too. Having not ever read the inhumans comics & knowing almost nothing about them, I actually enjoyed this show. My homey who IS a giant inhumans comics fan HATED this show.
Every time they have done Inhumans related content, the frustration is so evident in both the Boys, and Ben the editor, about having to watch this schlock. Deservedly so. I too ranted about this on a show tracking app when I saw it. Its just one of those properties.

I didn't realize that the same Black Bolt actor reprised his role for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. I found out after I saw the movie, and then watched one of those "things you missed" UA-cam videos. Although I watched evert episode of The Inhumans season, I knew the show was a flop. Therefore, I didn't bother to commit anything to memory. I figured that the Black Bolt actor was a recasting, like Red Skull in Avengers: Endgame. Furthermore, by the time Doctor Strange 2 came out, I was accustomed to seeing Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike from the Star Trek franchise. Mount was a bit older, had greying hair, and his face as a tad chubbier from his time on The Inhumans series. He also didn't wear a mask as part of his original Black Bolt costume. 🤷♂
yes, you should do a full series review, you really should. I'm not telling you this because I love to see people suffer through mundane and non violent torture but because, this is a really great and informative show that explores new universes but with real life dramas and a slice of..... okay I can't this show sucks but do the full series review, it's so bad that it's still bad.

Fun Fact : In the initial cut the big dog had a blue tint and they had to fix it, they coined the term blue harvest for that, which was also the working title for original Star Wars movie.
This is the laziest one of these I have seen. You win
I've been meaning to put this in a comment for ages. You guys have, quite possibly, the best editor on UA-cam. No exaggeration.
Dude I stumbled upon this channel 2 days ago and I can't get enough, y'all are hilarious
You should check out the podcast then, after I found the channel I spent nearly six months working my way backwards through every episode of the podcast. I never get tired of these guys.
Guys, would really, really, really love to see you guys cover Agents of Shield. I watched it when I was sick during the holidays and was pleasantly surprised at times expecting the show to be much worse.
This entire show existed so the greatest episode(s) of Caravan of Garbage could be made. What a sacrifice. Everyone involved in this show is a hero. You all stand on the backs of giants.
The opening for the first inhumans COG is my all time favourite.
This is one of my favorites from Caravan of Garbage. I rewatch it all the time :)
Also, every time Mr. Sunday doesn't get the joke Maso is trying to make when he says Black Bolt is "the dumbest character" and "it's partly because he can't talk" I get a bit sad. Sir that is some quality wordplay and I salute you.
As someone who actually did watch this entire series I can a million percent promise you, it does not get better. It gets so much worse.
The only reason I remember that this was uploaded before was because I remember how much it hurt poor Ben to have to watch all of these...Poor Ben.
Holy shit, I never realized that Ken Leung (Karnak) is also 1” spike man from X-Men 3: The Last Stand!…He should stop working for Marvel
When this show came out I was like "oh cool I remember hearing about the inhumans I bet the powers in this show are cool" and then they basically got rid of everyone's powers in like 10 minutes lol it was so clear it was a thing that they didn't want to animate Medusa's hair the entire season so they cut it immediately, and they didn't want to keep doing special effects for Hoofman so hes new boot goofin for the rest of the show, they didn't want to keep doing future vision CG for Future Vision Man so they have him hit his head and lose the ability, crystal hardly uses her powers throughout the season, it was all just so boring and poorly written so much of it makes zero sense I hate it
The Inhumans will always be Marvel's attempt to churn out fresh and interesting superpowers after running out of unique origin stories and just before they gave up and created mutants and could forgo explaining everything by saying "born that way."
The Inhumans remind me of a toy you'd find only in a grocery store. Inside the wrapper, you'd find a colored stone, a sphere, an egg, or something similar that would reveal a unique plastic trinket after you, say, left it in water or ate it. Once you had uncovered the hidden "treasure," you were supposed to play with it, but honestly, the reveal was the best part.
ooh man i love these episodes 😂 mason destroys everything
and james is just james he try's to be positive but also destoys same things
fucking love these reviews
I just love the CTV logo on all the footage as a constant reminder of the beautiful Canadian-Australian connection of this show. As a Canuck, it gives me the warm and fuzzies.
Ben is just the best fucking editor, shoutout to the editing team
This is my fave xmas present: both Inhumans episodes in one video. Thanks, gents!
I’m such a massive Inhumans fan that I never watched it because I knew I’d be hurt.
Eyo fellow inhuman fan!
I swear how have you guys not done an Episode of Caravan Of Garbage on Van Helsing (2004) Yet??
Ben doesn’t want to watch a whole season of a bad tv show. Be like Ben.
This show is so almost something it's incredible
Who knew Wanda's turn back to the good started when she exploded Black Bolt's head? It was an act of mercy freeing him from the memory of being in this horrendous show. Good on ya Wanda. 😉
I never watched this but judging from these clips I think the biggest insult you can give it is that it looks like a CW show, not a Marvel show
It literally took me to the 2nd intro to realise this was a re-release 😆🤣 it all sounded like they were doing this a 3rd time to me 😅
Still feels wrong that I wasn't implored to grab a gem at the end of this... I WILL NOT chill out!

Neil Breen
The man, the myth, the legend
damn right.
the Breen cannot be denied.
I just re-watched their original versioion of this last week, and will gladly watch (this) again!
Damn the editing is so good on this channel. Well done sir Ben
These two original videos are top tier Mr Sunday Movies content, so I’m more than happy to watch this again.
I saw the title and thought, "damn I can't believe they put themselves through watching inhumans AGAIN" before realizing it was just a combination of the old videos
YES, I WILL REWATCH (Most of) THIS. Edit: I stand corrected. There are new edits in here. SO to the editors💕✨
Thank you for your sacrifice editor Ben
I didn’t realize I’d already watched this until the bit about how hard it is to get to on Disney+.
The same person is behind Inhumans AND Iron Fist.... It makes so much sense now.
I don't you guys to come back to this... I WANT BEN TO COME BACK TO THIS!!!! He needs to provide this audience a FULL highly styled edited review!!!!! And then you guys come back to it.
The editing of this episode is AWESOME! All the little video nuggets that follow your discussion are hilarious. I didn't expect to see Neil Breen pop up on screen in this channel! Well done!
Ben is really the best. The humor he injects, constantly. I actually started typing this right before 19:07
Originally Adam Brashear was supposed to appear in the series and encounter Black Bolt. However, this was changed as in the comics, Adam Brashear is known as the hero Blue Marvel. Producers for the series thought this was too close to Blue Harvest, which was the original title for Star Wars.
“One characters legs change. He’s just got regular legs,” is one of Mason’s best deadpan deliveries.
3:41 This whole rant about future sight, butterfly wings, and mines had me rolling
That cry for help from the editor at 17:00, poor thing 😂
I like that their was a genuine slip between new mutants & inhumans than just going “it doesn’t matter”
When you realize the reason this is the first video for the year because James used this for the beginning of another year so he could recycle the line “we are back for the new year”
Classic mr Sunday movies
Whoever edited this and used the fleeting LOTR Entwife reference at 24:25 deserves a goddam payrise!
You two doofuses are an absolute pleasure to listen to. I wish you a great life.
I was really hoping this was an indication that you might talk about the other Marvel series before Disney+, the Netflix series, Cloak and Dagger and Runaways, I've decided to watch them recently no matter how bad they might be lol.
Runaways was decent, Cloak and Dagger I was so bored I couldn’t even finish the first season. And I finished Inhumans.
I loved C&D personally, probably my favorite pre-D+ Marvel show after Daredevil
Runaways was … a show. I didn’t watch the third season and I don’t even remember the second season. Something about drilling a hole ? Seemed like a very LA problem that you’d be interested or concerned about drilling in an urban environment. Very odd issues.
@@fun2building I loved cloak and dagger too. I think it's a shame few ppl saw it.
🧡🦇
The best part of this is Mason standing at the table full of his YA books, "Blood Hawk" and "Flank Hawk"
5:28 “the one which most Star Wars fans were surely looking forward to the most - the Boba Fett spin-off”. Oof, that has aged interestingly
I appreciate the small additions made from stuff that came out since these videos were originally published.
Putting you guys through watching even a second more of this is inhumane.
It's Inhumans.

This was the video I watched that made me a fan of their channel. That opening bit is so good and perfectly captures how dumb the Inhumans are.
Fun fact: This show is the reason the MCU can't use Hawaii anymore 31:02
This channel's so good I hit Subscribe, twice!
Ethzero no!
I love this channel and everyone that watches it.
These are my 2 fav installments of Caravan of Garbage. I usually fall asleep playing this in the background and this video is an absolute god sent lol I no longer have to create weird playlists to comply with the dumb "youtube phone does not have the option to create quick queue playlists wah wah wah" that is a direct qoute from youtbe HQ
This made more sense in my head nvm
Only thing worse than the Inhumans Show: The name Blackagar Boltagon. 🤣
That's comics for ya!
Wym? That name is cool asf
i come back to watch this every couple of months, listening to you guys talk about it is far more interesting that the actual show! they should swap in this for the actual show on disney plus.....petition anyone? lol great work on the editing as well guys
Marvel tried making this their Xmen because they didnt have the rights to Xmen at the time, and holy cow did they not do either franchise justice
The joke is that they’re nothing alike
Not even Marvel. Ike Perlmutter. The whole Inhumans vs X-Men thing was just a disaster.
7:21 - 7:33 and 20:00 live in my head rent free
I hope you do the hellboy twology for February
"Why?"
"I'm sorry"
Best lines in the MCU
18:34 - OOF. That statement didn’t age well. Turns out, WandaVision’s episode runtimes were an outlier and future Marvel show would follow Inhuman’s format.
And it's quality too.
@@jackdubz4247 nice try
@@garrettcarter5622 Nice try? That's what I would say to the writers of those tedious Marvel Studios Disney+ shows.
@@jackdubz4247 You’re still here?
All this show makes me want to do is rewatch Agents of SHIELD.
Awesome show
The pirates who don’t do anything reference got me 😂! Thanks Ben!
Inhumans walked so that Eternals could limp.
I can't wait for you to cover season 2.
yes, you should do a full series review, you really should. I'm not telling you this because I love to see people suffer through mundane and non violent torture but because, this is a really great and informative show that explores new universes but with real life dramas and a slice of..... okay I can't this show sucks but do the full series review, it's so bad that it's still bad.
19:47 And, yes Ben, I also spotted the subliminal glimpse of Benihoff from GoT when he utters the fateful sentence about how Dani kinda forgot about that pesky fleet😁😆😂🤣
Brah I'm playing Marvel Ult Al. 3 and there's an Inhuman level and it's super short and none of them are even playable 😂
My comment is featured somewhere in this video, and that's basically the greatest contribution I have ever made to pop culture canon
The Inhumans? Again? Ok
I've been watching Strange New Worlds over the past couple days, and it took until 14:54 for me to re-realize that Captain Pike is in this.
I feel like this show would've done better...if it came out in 2002.
Daddy James and Uncle Maso are on top of their game with these
Can't wait for all the Blue Harvest jokes, very creative
This is a pre-BH video. Please respect the game-changing event that is the first Mr Sunday Movies Blue Harvest joke by getting your facts straight.
