Thanks for having me man! 🙌
Was super fun and interesting to chat with you. :)
glad you enjoyed cant wait till the rerun
Thanks for sharing your story! Your channel is so inspiring! And looking forward on that Storytelling and Filmmaking course!
Any time!
Great collab, both of you keep up the good work 💪
Oh snap! My subscriptions are merging! It's a UA-cam multiverse now!
As someone who also blew up: make great thumbnails and aim for a 50% retention. UA-cam will recommend your videos
What blunt, generic advise. Doesnt help anyone, lol.
Where did you learn how to make good thimbnails?
@GhostSwift247 make different kinds of videos and then see which do well and then focus on that type of content.
@GhostSwift247 also consider that once you find something it might only last for a couple videos or needs a game update to boost the views. But I think you probably know this considering your most popular videos.
Your thumbnails don’t even look good bro 💀
RELEASE THE FULL INTERVIEW!! 🙌
Invaluable info in this!!🤙
I really enjoy your channel especially this episode. You promoted Niklas throughout even to your end screen. Supporting other UA-camrs - that’s great and keep it up. Im a new UA-camr and learning so much from you. Not just how to do the technical side, but inspiring ones as well like this. Great job!
I stumbled across Niklas a couple months ago and was immediately hooked. Great interview. I love this series where you bring on other creators to share some of their knowledge. Job well done man!
Your channel provides the most skillful tips for UA-cam, I've gave up watching other "growing a channel" videos because they all repeat the same basic, generic stuff. Your channel is very unique and I learn so much more every time I watch your videos. Keep up the good work!
Suddenly Niklas is all over my UA-cam. I will say big kudos on shouting HIS video out at the end. I know you use your own loop there normally (I got to this video from one, actually) but it was really cool to see you link to something else of his. I'm going to go watch that now.
Storytelling is definitely one of the hardest parts - enjoyed this interview!
You turned what would be an otherwise regular podcast-style interview, into a great video, with good music, b-roll, straight-to-the-point questions, and answers in a great format! Nice work!
thanks Adrian
Agreed!
💯
His videos are amazing. Thanks for inviting him. I am happy that he underlines that it is a very hard work to produce content of this quality. Because it has been commercialized as if there is a way to hack algorithm in order to have it on your side....
Love the fact that you got Niklas on this! Huge inspiration and amazing storyteller. Would to see this style with more creators!
I love Niklas. I used his productivity video to reorganize the file folders for my UA-cam videos, and it made a big difference.
Loved the format of the interview.
Great, insightful questions and how generous of you to link to his video at the end!
Great interview dude. Hadn't come across his channel but definitely will check it out now. Thanks
Thank you, thank you! This has to be the most down to earth advice ever. Thanks for the advice and giving back our hope 🙏
Amazing collab, big fan of both of you, so seeing you in one video really made my day!
What a wonderful video Ed. One of your best so far! Congratulations to both of you guys!
This is an awesome interview! Niklas is such a remarkable film maker. Great content as always Ed!
Informative video, enjoyed this. I did like the very cinematic approach Niklas has.
Love these breakdown videos, I love the Keep It Simple Approach every big YT has. Just make great transformative stories for your target viewer as best as possible and post.
Awesome video. I just stumbled over this creator a few days ago when I was looking up stuff for Notion. I am thinking about getting into it to get more organized with everything.
And then you come around and bam makes an entire video about him. What is an interesting point to see is how his background as a professional video creator came in huge to make good content. Sometimes people like me forget that when we start with youtube that we don't have all the same conditions. And therefore our growth will be very different. And that's what we should always remind ourselves of. Not everybody has 10 years of professional video-creating experience. Just another proof that UA-cam is not a sprint but a marathon. And you cannot lose in this race unless you stop.
Amazing video as per Ed! I’ve found Niklas’ content over the last few months and he’s such an inspiration of how to go about YT
Been watching Niklas now for a while and he is doing such a great job. Really valuable video!
I’m absolutely obsessed with Niklas’ channel. Been binge watching some of his videos for inspiration and knowledge. I cannot wait to learn how to do story telling. I’m so glad he popped up on my homepage recommendations.
I binge watched a lot of Niklas's best videos and there is a lot to learn on storytelling and film making skills. If he puts out a course in future, I may consider it. Although you can learn a lot just watching all his videos including making thumbnails, colorizing video with LUTs and still images. He teaches use of stabilizers with camera moves and drones which is useful for documentary. Although I may not get a drone anytime soon, I would want a stabilizer and do some of the cinematic moves he shows with it. The guy is also successful due to his energetic positive personality on screen, but that is something the rest of us can develop over time if we keep at it as he did. I agree he will be the next level Peter Mckinnon as he keeps going with his growing fanbase.
Love your videos bro. And of course, Niklas is the truth. His editing is insane.
Ahhh nice video I love Niklas! His videos are so inspiring, he really makes you want to believe in yourself. He inspires me like crazy with my channel, thanks for the video!
I can't believe,I asked you a couple of weeks ago to do a video about Nicklas crazy growth and you DID IT. Awesoooooommmmmmmeeee
hahah I remember thinking, they'll be happy about this
You are both my current most inspirational content creators. Great to see you together!!
I agree when he mentioned the resistance part. It’s so frustrating when your mind goes blank. Sitting in front of screen, doing everything you can and end up achieving nothing.
Thanks for the video ! 🎉
Keep interviewing other youtubers it's a great format :)
Enjoyed this interview! Thanks guys!
Watching from the Philippines :)
I've been following both of your channels for a while now and have been AMAZED at both of your talent, commitment, use of smart strategies, and well-deserved growth! Thanks for being such a huge inspiration! To someone reading this, I believe in YOUR success and growth too! It's time for you to amaze the world!
Thank you for this gem! Filled with incredible advice ☺️👍👍👍!
Loved the interview! Always nice to hear fresh thoughts and perspectives :)
I have seen his videos but you made me sub to his channel. Thanks, Booth!
Let's gooo ! I've been watching his videos from him lately to learn as much as I could. He's such an inspiring perso for anyone who wants to step up their UA-cam channel. (yes, I'm making gaming videos and I still learned a lot from his videos)
It's such a gift to 'feel that pressure' at a young age to get into a 'creative career' path. Great perspective and video!
Awesome video, love these interviews, it brings a reality to being a creator that other channels just done share. 🙌
Super interview Ed, Nicklas is in a world of his own.
Nice interview Ed. I enjoy Niklas’ channel
Personality, stories and value. Concept of the thumbnail is important. Thanks for sharing
These videos are awesome and really helpful, keep the awesome work up!
A year later and this is the day I needed to hear this.. thank you as its the push i needed today
Great advice, looking forward to implement them in our next videos
Always providing value! Keep it coming!
Wow! Great content. Really resonates. Definitely headed to check out his content as well. Thanks Film Booth
Love and appreciate how quick pace and to the point this interview is. I literally finished eating my breakfast at the same time the video ended - enjoy your 100% retention from me and hope that this comment was one of your goal comments!
Awsome video!!! The videos that you bring a successfull UA-camr over and talk about their point of you are simple the best!!!
This video was just straight to the point from start to finish! Awesome work!
Love your videos mate! It’s been really helpful in improving my story telling in my videos
Hopefully this was one of your comment goals!
I enjoyed how natural he flows ❤️❤️. Youtubing is alot of work but don't think or stress to much about it. Just keep creating and getting better one video at a time
Love this, literally makes me think of how much work I’m putting into my big video now. Scripting this video has been the hardest thing ever but once it’s done, I’m sure it’ll be amazing.
Great video! Niklas has got some skills for sure. A true video artist with good substance in the content too...He's a UA-cam unicorn.
Ed, everything you do is different, including interviews. Fantastic storytelling with beautiful photography and editing, absolutely inspirational, thank you!
Thank you, I really appreciate that
Awesome video, again with actionable advice, and it also made me discover another amazing channel!
Also, generous to have a single end card out of your channel! I made sure to come back and comment 😄
Great video and great interview. Loads of great information
I remember when Niklas had 20K in summer 2020, when I so his channel again was insane the amount of subs he had
OMG, Niklas is like, half my age, but I see him as this passionate creative machine... all those ideas and ambitions for the future, not giving up when pandemic stopped him. He pivoted, and he pivoted in the right direction. Niklas is a huge inspiration and I think young people around the world should watch this video! Thanks for sharing this amazing person with me!
Thank you for the amazing content. Your videos are so helpful and always entertaining! Learning so much from your channel!
Superb intro, great hook and another great lesson, it's better to take the shot than wishing you had.
Awesome concepts! Thank you for throwing that together! 👍👍
Great idea! Experiences and chating all in a place made with beautiful editing
I am sat here learning, and waiting for it to happen
Very intriguing video with some great points made. Excited to implement them into my own creative journey.
I have to say Ed, I took your advice about titles when it comes to your videos from what you said in some of these previous videos was 100% true! My most recent released video is already at over 500 views within 48 hours because it's catching the attention of browse with the thumbnail and then of course the topic itself is searchable content. As a vlogger I am learning more and more how to document different, how to tell more of a story like Nicklas says and I hope to one day create that story telling video that many can connect to.
@mbouring doune I replied through the comment you left on my video ;)
I would love to see you do a study/video on how long after the release of a struggling video it still has a chance of substantive change in its positioning within the UA-cam algorithm through changes in things like thumbnail, title, description, etc. In other words, at what point does it’s position become relatively fixed? I’m trying to determine how long I should keep trying to redeem videos before it’s a lost cause and it would be better to just move on to focus on newer videos.
I love this video so much ! It puts a lot of things into perspective 💕 Always learning from this channel 💕
GOOD LUCK growing everyone 💕
Your videos are definitely key, i tried to skip ahead 10 seconds and i literally had to go back just to make sure i got all the knowledge
Will definitely check him out. 😀
keep posting dude
It Is an inspiring! I am going to check out his channel, I follow your advise Ed regarding the thumbnails, I am learning a lot from that
Thank you for sharing..
Great video was reeled in from the start
I wish I could have great hair like both of you. Great Q & A. Thanks for sharing. 😎
Nice one👍 Thanks for sharing this!
Appreciate the long term perspective. I work full time and don’t feel the urgency to produce my At Home Workout videos at the recommended frequency. But I think that is ok 😬
Great video i have seen lots of video from your channel now i subscribed your channel
Informative video thanks for sharing
Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Thank you for this Video, it was very good (for me). Best Regards from Berlin Germany from Alireza, a small youtuber
So true stay consistent and focused on documenting the lots of different niche content I’m interested in ,it has worked out for me and finally I got my first 1million views
So, great video as always (I'm chewing on them on occasion rather than ingesting them all in one glut) I have to say though, your end-of-video recommendation is a stroke of genius. Did you come up with it yourself, or was that a suggestion you heard elsewhere. Did it work for you?
Nick is truly amazing... He does these really wide shots with him about 30 ft away. I would be terrified someone runs up and steal my gear... Lol... Anyways... Amazing!! Great interview 👍🏽👍🏽
NIKLAS IS AN INSPRIATIONAL THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICE
This was great! Thanks for sharing.
Great video. He's got some serious skills and a knack of combining them all into the perfect storm
You know an amazing video when you see it. Well done, Ed.

Thumbnail was ON POINT.

This was genuinely such an inspiring video. I don't say that lightly, either. This is absolutely brilliant insight.
