Sean this was captivating. This is the first video I watch of yours. And I have not seen any lifeofriza videos yet- Now I definitely will watch both of you
Man, it seems like the whole video was crafted to culminate in this exact moment 8:20 😂it definitely made me hit that subscribe button. Good content and great sense of humor!
You all are incredibly kind, and I'm truly grateful for your support 🙏🏻. This was a new type of content for me, but I had a blast creating it. Your likes, comments, and encouragement have inspired me to produce more content in this style. Please don't hesitate to suggest any UA-camr whose channel you'd like me to analyze next.
Hmm... I would like you to analyze "annika's leaf". Her content is idk somehow addicting because I often tell myself I will not watch this week's vlog or I"ll just watch a few minutes and I just can't stop haha (I don't want to watch her vlogs because they are kinda long and I feel bad for all that consumed time 😅) Her last vlog was really good, idk it felt way more relaxing than her usual vlogs are. Her whole content is really good and who knows you might end binge watching her videos just like I did the first time I found her channel 🤭
its my first time viewing your video and first time knowing riza. I clicked out of curiosity and i loved the video. Commenting to say that ur head tilt was cute too, it wasnt bad but u added that music which made me laugh. Anyway, i loved ur content and from now on I will keep looking fwd to urs and hers content. Thanks!
I discovered her channel a while ago... I noticed all of what you said, but there is something about HOW she tells her stories... She is kinda like a "kdrama actress", aside all the other talents... She knows how to act, but so naturally... She shares really deep thoughts and makes you think... She is really charismatic... I studied photography for 2 years, a long time ago, and kinda abandoned it for many years, but since I found her channel, "the bug bit me again"... I wish her all the best, and I owe her a big "thank you".
I’m glad people have finally discovered Life of Riza. She’s my favourite fellow Canadian UA-camr. Also, yeah the head flip while making coffee wasn’t cute but the coffee making part was just as good. Maybe rubbing your chin would give you the quiet depth to finish the scene.
The comment at the end of staying committed to your art, even when the number of views breaks your heart, really resonates. I mostly post on Instagram and have had that feeling more often than not recently. Love the video overall. Thanks for putting this together!
She is very creative and inspiring but I kept comparing my video quality to her and felt bad about myself. However, her contents do push me to better my work. Now watching your video and hearing the thoughts, I realize I just need to keep trying to find my own style. Thank You
The clips of her videos looked fantastic. I bet I would be just as interested in your stories whether you think your film is better or worse.....the story is equal.
Sean: that is an absolutely remarkable video. i learned a lot from it. i think you have taken whatever you have learned from riza and captured it in your own style. we'll all be great one day; one video at a time. be well.
That’s a great video. I’ve been struggling with my UA-cam channel at the end of the year and barely have the energy to analyze other channels, but your video found me at just the right moment. Thanks for your work.
You did such a great job in trying to tackle the topic of 'Kariza'! I feel that you have come a long way yourself. You are so inspiring as well in your own way, such a beautiful way!
It's craaazy, I remember seeing some of her videos when she had 20k-30k subs. Really enjoyed her style, and it was just a bit after I got into "cinematography", so I enjoyed watching it. It goes just a few weeks or months-Idk, but I was working on my service business-and I check back in, 130k subs, a it two later like 300k+, crazy but I can't say she doesn't deserve it. First person I've seen really implement cinematography into the "mainstream life advice" genre. Not only that, but she does a good job at crafting her overall videos.
This break down was very respectfully and nicely done. This was the first video of yours that I’ve come across but you have a new subscriber. Great work.
Thanks for the video. I feel motivated by the slow vibe your video brings. It has the recreational energy needed for the long journey that I'm on, to find the creator inside.
I didnt know Life of Riza, but I must say this video is up there. You did an extraordinary intro and I'm amazed at your simple but fascinating breakdown of this great UA-camr. Thanks for the effort and the hard work. I aim to imitate your cinematography one day!
yeah... the eye catching thumbnail. then the intro... next the value giving to the watcher with a great cinematography... fantastic my friend... you have a big journey to go.. subbed..! cheers! grateful for I found this channel :D
I came across this video by coincidence, and I haven't seen a single video from kariza, but what I see are excerpts from you and her and it inspires me to think about other areas in my life. The energy that the video conveys and seeing that there are such internally beautiful people in this world gives me a warm feeling. thanks for that written by a 40 year old bearded Kurdish man in Germany
I really appreciate these videos man. Holy shit you have such a unique outlook and positive vibe. I can't put into words just how inspired I felt after watching that just now. Keep being yourself and do NOT ever lose your spark! Life long subscriber now
You’re both so cinematic. I really feel taken back to the 90s. There is this crisp nostalgia even through the grainy additions and filmier edits. It’s like a hang with an old friend. Before phones. A bit vintage. But somehow like it was just yesterday. Youre both so charming. Love the way you broke this down. Now I know why she feels so cozy to watch.
u break it down very well. after watching this analysis, i realised there's more behind whats on the surface. we can peek into her creative process and thoughts she put in her works. I'm an illustrator and full time artist by the way and I've been watching photography/cinematography related videos to learn something new and develop more skills. again, this is very helpful. i hope ur hard work paid off eventually. keep creating!
Hey man, i've never heard of LifeOfRiza or even you.. but I just gotta say, this video was amazing. Keep doing you, and i'm sure it'll be your time to shine too!
I absolutely love her channel too! I've watched some of her videos multiple times just to figure out how she does it. The one thing I think you left out is that every scene she includes has purpose. Whether that's setting the scene/mood or helping tell a story. What creators sometimes get hooked on is the cinematic feel. They just like the look of a shot so they include rather than asking is it necessary to include. This is what she specializes in!
It's my first time stumbling across your video and I really appreciate your cinematic and storytelling critiques & breakdown of Kariza's channel. It's my first time hearing of her channel and I'm about to go binge her content! You've done a wonderful job providing examples from her videos and juxtaposing them with yours. Please do more of these video breakdowns of other channels! I'm sure many people including me will find them helpful! Thank you again for a very enjoyable video & looking forward to seeing more of your content.
This is one of the most inspiring content that I've ever found, I recently started vlogging and I am still struggling find my own style making videos. Your breakdown and tips encourage me a lot. Thank you 🤍
I was watching her from way back. So glad she finally popped. She's a trendsetter in a world where everyone's doing short videos. Hers force the viewer to slow down. I think people are craving that
Hey Sean, great breakdown! I saw 1 or 2 videos of hers a few months ago so this was cool to watch as someone who is trying to improve their videography skills. I particularly like the part @ 7:25 where you showed with AI how much of a difference scenery and small details can make! Also very funny how the head turn she does wouldn't apply to us haha, if i did that in a review of mine I don't think people would take me seriously. Only thing that I would mention here would be to link her channel in the description for people that aren't familiar with her work. Thanks for the vid, first time here and instant sub!
I didn't know or heard of Riza, but watching your video was so charming (from the framing of the video to color grading, music, and everything else) that I instantly subscribed to your channel. You're an amazing creator!
Just wanted to say thst you have beautiful cinematography yourself. Like the opening shots and the broll you showed at the end are incredible. I hope I can take such cinematic shots as I improve.
This video was so helpful and eye opening to me as a very small creator here on UA-cam. Riza is inspiring as a movie-maker and so are you, thank you for breaking down her content and for giving us an opportunity to see yours too- love what you do and for your fresh honesty in the online space. Thank you!
Dude, you went above and beynond on this video. The examples, the structure of your script slowly building up to the most key aspect, even the AI to prove such a huge point. Insane. Keep up the phenomenal work 🚀
Thank you for sharing all this perspective on Kariza (I didn't even know that was her real name!) I never knew she blew up so fast. I always assumed that because her content was so captivating she had always been great. Just like you, I really look up to her dedication even though she didn't have the audience she has today.
I just fell in love with your style, Sean! Your voice, your accent, your kindness and your very unique way of doing content. I am very happy to have found you! All the good energies of the universe to your project! I will be here to watch you rise the stars 🍀
this video is amazing. so so informative but also shot so well! your lighting, your pacing, your colour grading! a plus my friend! subscribed and notifications on!
omg the head tilt is funny! but thanks for sharing your views about kariza's talent and awesome work. it has made me realise i am not alone in noticing the same! so so amazing!
I actually love your work 😂, you're underestimating yourself in the videos, your work is truly information and brilliant and of great value Sean ❤😊 that's why I have joined ur family
Finding your video was important to me, and the last phrases you say about being yourself and staying to it, are an inspiration, so thank you for that. Some weeks ago I also found Riza's channel. I agree with you, what a magical sensitivity in making videos, I am also learning with her, and now with you too, You did excellent work on your video too, excellent filming and beautiful production, Thank you again.
I had not yet heard of "Life of Riza", but this breakdown does make me want to look into it as the excerpts given are so well made that it is hard to fathom they are not from an incredible little movie.
I don’t think we can ever compare each person as creatives because each person has their own to offer. Kariza definitely is an inspiration to many inspiring filmmakers and UA-camrs alike… This is a very awesome video and hope you keep developing your own style and passions, you’re awesome!
Thank you so much for sharing your analysis and inspiration from the amazing creator life of Riza! I really so wish people would make more videos like these and share what they love and who inspired them! Thank you for being an amazing and inspiring person Sean! And keep doing what you love and looking forward to checking more videos from you! Wishing you all the very best, have fun and stay creative! P.S. Really love the coffee head flip scene! Super cute, I couldn't stop smiling and laughing. ;D It made my day!
very well made video bro and like you said I think the biggest factor of her success is simply the kind of person she is on camera. You can have all the technical skills in the world but if you're not able to connect with the audience than it might take even longer to reach the same success. Also the fact that she already put so much effort in her previous videos.
Sean, this was a masterpiece. You could really feel the amount of work and dedication you put into this. I hope you'll get the attention you deserve. Keep on going man.
You didn’t nail the head turn 😅, but you crushed the attention metric! First time watching and you kept me engaged and curious till “Hero, let’s go home.” Really enjoyed your work! A thousand thumbs up 👍
Just got chills when she paused the sweeping to say "specific". Love the purple shirt pink flower callout and the softening of her window keylight. Thank you for this thoughtful analysis - just subbed!
Hi Sean, thank you for this analyze, it's really helpful and so many little things to note! I've seen a few videos from Life of Riza and were amazed by her art of storytellung and cinematography! Can't wait to see more and excited on your next video😊

Hi! I was not familiar with Kariza until watching this video. I’m now curious and will check out her channel. It can be quite discouraging when you put a lot of work into a video and only a couple people view it. Thank you for creating this beautiful and inspiring video! ❤❤❤
I was pleasantly confused and amazed at your opening sequence thinking, isn't this just a channel analysis video? But your cinematography and storytelling has a beautiful style of its own and it made "just a channel analysis video" really captivating and informational. Thanks for this, and I'm rooting for your channel's growth in the near future too :)

Man, it seems like the whole video was crafted to culminate in this exact moment 8:20 😂it definitely made me hit that subscribe button. Good content and great sense of humor!
I loved this video even more due to your 'cute' head tilt
This episode's true epitome of what youtube is and should be, I learnded a lot.
🙏🏻🙏🏻
You all are incredibly kind, and I'm truly grateful for your support 🙏🏻. This was a new type of content for me, but I had a blast creating it. Your likes, comments, and encouragement have inspired me to produce more content in this style. Please don't hesitate to suggest any UA-camr whose channel you'd like me to analyze next.
try reviewing 86m2 next , her channel has a similar vibe to life of riza , but she has even more followers.
Hmm... I would like you to analyze "annika's leaf". Her content is idk somehow addicting because I often tell myself I will not watch this week's vlog or I"ll just watch a few minutes and I just can't stop haha (I don't want to watch her vlogs because they are kinda long and I feel bad for all that consumed time 😅)
Her last vlog was really good, idk it felt way more relaxing than her usual vlogs are.
Thanks!
Ooh what about Lavendaire? And great video! I really enjoyed the breakdown
Amazing video! I think an analysis of Isabel Paige would be phenomenal!!
I'm not crying (This was the sweetest video)
Sean: that is an absolutely remarkable video. i learned a lot from it. i think you have taken whatever you have learned from riza and captured it in your own style. we'll all be great one day; one video at a time. be well.
I appreciate that!
That’s a great video. I’ve been struggling with my UA-cam channel at the end of the year and barely have the energy to analyze other channels, but your video found me at just the right moment.
Thanks for your work.
I really appreciated how sincere Sean’s approach to this was - you did a great job
I appreciate that!
You did such a great job in trying to tackle the topic of 'Kariza'! I feel that you have come a long way yourself. You are so inspiring as well in your own way, such a beautiful way!
Thank you so much!
"Believe in what you are doing and stay consistent". That is the point! Thank youu
This break down was very respectfully and nicely done. This was the first video of yours that I’ve come across but you have a new subscriber. Great work.
I appreciate that!
Dude LOVE how you broke this down. This lil girl is SOLID. Comp is ridiculous. She’s gorgeous. SIMPLE. But there’s elegance. She’s funny! Im jelly lol
She renewed your hope and you renewed mine. Thanks for that! You are two big inspirations for me from now on. This is art!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for the video. I feel motivated by the slow vibe your video brings. It has the recreational energy needed for the long journey that I'm on, to find the creator inside.
I didnt know Life of Riza, but I must say this video is up there. You did an extraordinary intro and I'm amazed at your simple but fascinating breakdown of this great UA-camr.
Thanks for the effort and the hard work.
I aim to imitate your cinematography one day!
Thank you so much 😀
yeah... the eye catching thumbnail. then the intro... next the value giving to the watcher with a great cinematography... fantastic my friend... you have a big journey to go.. subbed..! cheers! grateful for I found this channel :D
Greetings to you my Man
Some people just have a talent for this kind of story telling, plus she is an interesting very pretty girl. Thanks for breaking it down. Larry
Exactly pretty af
I really appreciate these videos man. Holy shit you have such a unique outlook and positive vibe. I can't put into words just how inspired I felt after watching that just now. Keep being yourself and do NOT ever lose your spark! Life long subscriber now
🫶🏼🙏🏻
Stay consistent!!! Thank you❤
You’re both so cinematic.
You’re very welcome
Hey man, i've never heard of LifeOfRiza or even you.. but I just gotta say, this video was amazing.
Keep doing you, and i'm sure it'll be your time to shine too!
Hey, thanks!
Sean, you did an outstanding job breaking this down, thank you
🙏🏻
It's my first time stumbling across your video and I really appreciate your cinematic and storytelling critiques & breakdown of Kariza's channel. It's my first time hearing of her channel and I'm about to go binge her content! You've done a wonderful job providing examples from her videos and juxtaposing them with yours. Please do more of these video breakdowns of other channels! I'm sure many people including me will find them helpful! Thank you again for a very enjoyable video & looking forward to seeing more of your content.
Thank You a ton
Man! Thank you so much for this! Incredible breakdown, inspirational, motivational, and incredibly well explained
🙏🏻🫶🏼
Love love love the way you did this, I’m always looking for good cinematic storytellers on UA-cam, and now I’ve found two! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is one of the most inspiring content that I've ever found, I recently started vlogging and I am still struggling find my own style making videos. Your breakdown and tips encourage me a lot. Thank you 🤍
Go for it!
Your breakdown shows how good of a cinematographer you are too👏🏻
I was watching her from way back.
I appreciate the kind words, Vlad
I didn't know or heard of Riza, but watching your video was so charming (from the framing of the video to color grading, music, and everything else) that I instantly subscribed to your channel. You're an amazing creator!
That head tilt was top notch!!! Your video was great.
Thank you!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
epic work Sir! Inspiring is an understatement!
🫶🏼🙏🏻
Dude, you went above and beynond on this video. The examples, the structure of your script slowly building up to the most key aspect, even the AI to prove such a huge point. Insane. Keep up the phenomenal work 🚀
Appreciate the kinds words man. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This made me cry
Thank you for sharing all this perspective on Kariza (I didn't even know that was her real name!) I never knew she blew up so fast. I always assumed that because her content was so captivating she had always been great. Just like you, I really look up to her dedication even though she didn't have the audience she has today.
You are so welcome!
This was incredibly meaningful, and very much appreciated! Thanks! P.S. love the doggo! ❤
🫶🏼🙏🏻
I just fell in love with your style, Sean! Your voice, your accent, your kindness and your very unique way of doing content. I am very happy to have found you! All the good energies of the universe to your project! I will be here to watch you rise the stars 🍀
Thank you! 😌🙏🏻🙏🏻
this video is amazing. so so informative but also shot so well! your lighting, your pacing, your colour grading! a plus my friend! subscribed and notifications on!
I appreciate that 🙏🏻
Loved watching this. So refreshing to see someone recognize and honor someone who inspired and helped them :)
Thank you
Bro the head turn was just Epic! 😂
Awesome video mate truly inspiring 🙌
🙏🏻🙏🏻
omg the head tilt is funny! but thanks for sharing your views about kariza's talent and awesome work. it has made me realise i am not alone in noticing the same! so so amazing!
Very inspirational, respectful and well-done. Glad to discover you and Riza.
Agree with everything! She and her video's are mesmerizing.
I actually love your work 😂, you're underestimating yourself in the videos, your work is truly information and brilliant and of great value Sean ❤😊 that's why I have joined ur family
I appreciate that!
Oh my goodness, such a big yt actually noticing my comment 😅 that's happened to me first time 💓💓
Finding your video was important to me, and the last phrases you say about being yourself and staying to it, are an inspiration, so thank you for that. Some weeks ago I also found Riza's channel. I agree with you, what a magical sensitivity in making videos, I am also learning with her, and now with you too, You did excellent work on your video too, excellent filming and beautiful production, Thank you again.
Thank you, keep at it
And i never really pinpointed the true lessons in life of Riza until you explained it, thank you
I had not yet heard of "Life of Riza", but this breakdown does make me want to look into it as the excerpts given are so well made that it is hard to fathom they are not from an incredible little movie.
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you I appreciate that 🙏🏻🫶🏼
@@SeanAlami My Pleasure!
very well made video bro and like you said I think the biggest factor of her success is simply the kind of person she is on camera. You can have all the technical skills in the world but if you're not able to connect with the audience than it might take even longer to reach the same success. Also the fact that she already put so much effort in her previous videos.
Thank you 🙏🏻
i watch your Gawx episode and Natalie's episode and felt i had to comment and sub. Thank you Sean!
Sean, this was a masterpiece. You could really feel the amount of work and dedication you put into this. I hope you'll get the attention you deserve. Keep on going man.
I appreciate that Brother
Dear Sean. I just discovered your channel. Love the vibe and your personality. Will come back again. Keep creating!
Awesome! Thank you!
You didn’t nail the head turn 😅, but you crushed the attention metric! First time watching and you kept me engaged and curious till “Hero, let’s go home.” Really enjoyed your work! A thousand thumbs up 👍
Glad you enjoyed!
Just got chills when she paused the sweeping to say "specific". Love the purple shirt pink flower callout and the softening of her window keylight. Thank you for this thoughtful analysis - just subbed!
Cheers man
Hi Sean, thank you for this analyze, it's really helpful and so many little things to note! I've seen a few videos from Life of Riza and were amazed by her art of storytellung and cinematography! Can't wait to see more and excited on your next video😊
Cheers
Great video! This helped me so much to think about how to upgrade my videos! Subscribed to watch more videos in the future :) Thanks for the informative content
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you much appreciated 🙏🏻🫶🏼
