    Hello Suman, you are making quite palatable and informative videos. Thank you for that. I would like to know about opportunities (clinical and/or teaching jobs) in UK after MD Pharmacology in India. Please elaborate who teach pre/para clinical subjects in UK.

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  2 роки тому

      Clinical pharmacology is a specialty which is close to MD pharmacology. It's a medical specialty and follows the same pathway as any other medical specialty. Pre and para subjects are taught in university by academics/PhD.

      You should only get into MD in private college if your primary goal is to get MD, not MRCP. MRCP can be an extra degree on top after your MD. If you want to complete IMT and get into UK training then focus on that, Don't spend so much money for MD from private institution.

    Thankyou for the informative video sir. A very open question, if after MBBS you want to move to the UK, but then eventually later in life you wish to come back to India after completing your training in UK and becoming a consultant in UK (with your MRCP and CCT completed), will an Indian doctor with MD+MRCP be valued more than someone with Complete training in the UK+ MRCP? Is there a difference in the govt and private sector. Those who move to UK directly after MBBS sometimes have this mindset of not having an additional MD degree as their counterparts in India do.

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  3 роки тому +3

      As per MCI, CCT is equivalent to DM/Mch. So that should be followed in govt sector. In private sector, there is a brand value associated with training from UK/US. this is also applicable to the perception of lay person, who will be your patients.
