Thank you for such an informative video, Dr! My husband completed his pulmonology MD in India in 2007 and has been working in India since then. What would be the best pathway for him to get into NHS at this stage?
Hello Suman, you are making quite palatable and informative videos. Thank you for that. I would like to know about opportunities (clinical and/or teaching jobs) in UK after MD Pharmacology in India. Please elaborate who teach pre/para clinical subjects in UK.
Clinical pharmacology is a specialty which is close to MD pharmacology. It's a medical specialty and follows the same pathway as any other medical specialty. Pre and para subjects are taught in university by academics/PhD.
Sir ...If we go to UK after MD Anaesthesia in India n start training in UK, do we train directly in a subspecialty like cardiac Anaesthesia, neuroanesthesia, transplant anesthesia etc.. or do we HV to start with general training?.....
@@SumanPaulDoc Thank u sir....So to become a cardiac anaesthtist or Neuro anesthetist we HV to train further......what about if we did DM cardiac anaesthesia in India then come to UK to train or work. How does it fare from there?
Hii Dr suman , do we need to have a strong CV if we are doing plab just after mbbs internship ? And dose working in India as a mbbs doctor improve my CV ?
To be realistic, you don't need a lot of stuff on your CV after MBBS becoz you have just started your career. What you do in next 5years defines your future career.
Thank you for the informative video. I am Orthopedic surgeon. I graduated from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. I am working in Lesotho for the past 3 years. The topic you raised has been my question for months. What is the best route for me to work as an Orthopedic registrar in the NHS? I am planning to do OET, PLAB 1 and 2 and then applying for jobs
@@SumanPaulDoc Thank you Doc. What worries me about MRCS is that the pass rate is low. Given that I have to take not only orthopedics. But yes I believe it is doable. What is the chance of getting registrar grade jobs in orthopedics after plab2 and full GMC registration? Your guidance is invaluable.
Bro, is it possible for IMG to become a surgeon in UK 🇬🇧 . I heard the competition is high. Please make video related to competition in the speciality and please make factual video if "N0" , give us honest answer

After DM, they can work in any capacity after completing MRCP. If they manage to get into cardiology training and complete CCT, they can work as cardiology consultant. Dubai is also an option but you will need to satisfy their licensing requirements.
Hello sir thank you for the informative video.. I would like to ask if we can enter into a clinical training post after MRCP part 2 ? And through the MTI pathway..and if possible how to proceed further?
I am not sure what you mean by clinical training post after MRCP 2. You are supposed to be working in a clinical post even prior to MRCP 1. You can do MTI after MRCP 2.
Sir please share your review about the internal medical training that hospitals in india are providing for Mrcp.? Are they worth joining instead of MD medicine from private medical college because with so much reservations in Neet PG ... a middle class UR have no option left... Please sir need your help..
You must not pay for isolated MRCP training in any Indian hospital. You can work in any hospital of your choice and prepare for MRCP.rather pay for a good preparation course for MRCP exam.MD is always better than any of these courses.
@@SumanPaulDoc Sir , the point that i want to ask is that if i take MD medicine from a pvt college... Will i get the training equivalent to an IMT ? As i have to be an IMT accredited grade 3 or have skills and knowledge equivalent to him to get a job in UK? Am i correct sir?
You should only get into MD in private college if your primary goal is to get MD, not MRCP. MRCP can be an extra degree on top after your MD. If you want to complete IMT and get into UK training then focus on that, Don't spend so much money for MD from private institution.

Thankyou for the informative video sir. A very open question, if after MBBS you want to move to the UK, but then eventually later in life you wish to come back to India after completing your training in UK and becoming a consultant in UK (with your MRCP and CCT completed), will an Indian doctor with MD+MRCP be valued more than someone with Complete training in the UK+ MRCP?
