I think, after a lot of analysis, scouring Pinterest, looking at my face from different angles and in different lights, that I have found my look alike. Mr Bean. Now, where to start…
Me too! I think in part some of us don’t have a look alike cause some types of people don’t tend to become celebrities (certain face types or even ethnicities that are generally deemed not attractive by the mainstream biases--and that makes me sad! I wish there were so many different types of people we spent time looking at in media we all regularly consume)
So, you've discovered that your are soft summer, your favorite season. Congratulations, this is absolutely fabulous colour type and you look gorgeous in soft summer colours!
One thing to keep in mind though is that basically every celebrity has had plastic surgery so be careful comparing your features to theirs. Also they use filters constantly. And PLUS their entire branding is based on them coming across as superior to normal people and their marketing teams will do anything to perpetrate that image. I’m not against using them as muses, but I think personally I would have to be careful.😅
Well, the idea is for your muse to be someone you already naturally look like. Not for you to try to get your features to look more like them. So, whether or not they originally had surgery to get features like yours is somewhat irrelevant! 😅As for the filters, not all celebrities are as active on social media branding as the ones you're thinking of. Particularly some British celebs, like Claire Foy or Olivia Coleman. Also, you are assuming the celebrity you're going to be told you look like will be someone current. It won't be necessarily (most of the ones I get died a long time ago). But, they can still be helpful to give you ideas. Basically, don't take it all too seriously. It's just about experimenting to find what style/looks work for you (it's not about trying to replicate their life, in other words). By the way, if you're curious... going by your little profile picture, I think you look a bit like a combination of Amber Benson (when she played Tara on the TV show "Buffy") and a young Bebe Neuwirth (Tony-award-winning dancer/actress). Both are a little older now so, you'd have a choice of what era of their style/life you like more but, both would be very cool possible style muses to look into, if you wanted. 🤷♀
@SwiftFoxProductions hi! Thanks for your reply, I appreciate hearing your perspective🙂 Yeah, you are right, I was thinking more of current celebrities and their crazy branding😅 I guess I think no one would have their features since they achieved them through surgery, but I suppose that's not accurate considering all the celebrity lookalikes🤔 No one's ever told me I look like any celebrity! I appreciate you telling me of a couple🙂
@@elizabethm7163 yeah, that's true. I guess I was thinking more about just trying to compare yourself to a celebrity (to find someone you look like) and thinking it could get discouraging.
I have a suggestion. Personally I really love your style root and body matrix theory. Could you make content on celebrity inspirations for each categories of both these theories? For a fashion novice like me, looking at people helps gain clarity. Thank you. Love your videos ❤
I get Anne Hathaway and Laura Marano really frequently, and pulling inspiration from their styles has completely transformed how I do my makeup, and has helped me the most with learning how to properly use makeup on my specific facial features!! (big eyes, prominent nose, harsh brows, etc.)
I’ve always gotten Mila Kunis, from jr. high to now. Seeing the kind of aura she gives has helped me narrow down how people see me. For example, we’d never see her casted as a bubbly, Elle Woods type. It’s been nice to have that mirror/muse and I absolutely love leaning into it and discovering myself as a theatrical romantic.
Yeah, definitely! Based on your little pp you even look like Kendall Jenner. Lucky, both are beautiful especially M Kunis and the vibe she gives. Thoughtful, never shallow, confident, deep layered personality, mysterious, and like she always knows what she's doing.

The eye makeup looks lush on you and frames your eyes so much more 🥰 also where you said you were worried about your bags, I thought it had the opposite effect as it draws the attention up and away from them to the upper and outer corners of your eyes, giving your eyes more lift and definition 👌🏻
This makeup style looks great on you. Your hair is darker now so you can wear slightly deeper eye makeup and it looked like it balanced everything out visually.
I love your body matrix system. It's so much more clear and sensible. It also does take time with color season. I thought I was cool toned for a long time because I knew I wasn't an Autumn like I had been typed as a teenager and I didn't think I was light enough to a Spring. Literally comparing my natural hair color to some hair swatches made me realize that I AM light, I'm just not as light as my True Spring Sister. I am working with the Bright Spring Palette and that seems to suit me best so far.
This technique actually helped me finally discover my Kibbe type, who is Rita Hayworth wearing more classic styles. My essence is classic and romantic, which is easier to find in old Hollywood celebrities than the more recent ones. If you’re having difficulty with your Kibbe type and essence, I’d encourage you to look at the celebrities of the past.
I don't think there's any celebrities that look similar to me. I'd have to choose and pick from so many different people that it almost feels pointless.
Back when Downton Abbey was running I got Jessica Brown Findlay once a week. The essences and body type are there, and I think we're adjacent seasons. I'm going to give this a try!
I have put your book on my christmas list! Love your channel, after 2 kids i felt as though fashion had left me behind - your videos are helping me rediscover a new me, so thank you ❤
When New Girl was new and popular, I would often have people say I remind them of Zoey Deschanel. I have similar colouring but look nothing like her. When I asked why, they'd always say my personality reminded them of Jess 😅😊 very flattering - so essence/vibe/character plays a big part in people's perception. Oh and before you said Natalie Dormer in the video, that's the person I had in mind for you Ellie, not in essence but in similar facial features and movements.
a series of this would be great. Would be nice to see you try more looks from your celebrity muses, but also, other possible look-alikes. I'm definitely down to watch. We got one outfit today and the results were good. Let's see more ❤
I've been told I look like so many different people that don't look very alike: Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Fiona Fullerton, Priscilla Presley, Sophia Myles, Marion Cotillard, Boy George and ET. Especially fond of that last. So which one do I choose?
Maybe you embody different essences? Among the named celebrities, there's Dramatic, Classic, Romantic essence as far as I can tell. Interesting blend, though 😅
@@alicegrace8476 I think you may be right about the essences. I believe I'm Kibbe Theatrical Romantic, which would certainly account for two of those. It's a curious mix, isn't it.
@@helenfitch6590 ET and Cate Blanchett might also hint to a touch of Ethereal. That's what I love about Kitchener, it's a lot more versatile whereas Kibbe might help you find overall direction. I've gotten Jennifer Connelly and Liv Tyler... so I think I'm a mix of classic, romantic, and ethereal. I'm medium width, long and not very rounded. I have noticed Jennifer Connelly's classic but romantic style, medium-length lush brown hair, and simple makeup suit me really well. But I'm a summer and need softer less intense colours, and I think she's a winter.
oh i also got liv tyler ! tbh thats the only one i really ever got, other then angelina jolie (i suspect only because of the lips). i dont resemble liv tyler bodywise tho, other then also being slim..
We have the same celebrity look alike! I think that's partially why I relate to your style so much. I am pretty sure we have a very similar blend, just a bit different ratio of essences.
I have similar eyes and under eyes to you and I have a couple suggestions to try. Keep the liner on the bottom of your eyes closer to your lash line and darker on the outer corner, but not as wide or far down underneath the eyes. Still be sure to tip the shadow upward at the edges to enhance your canthil tilt like you did in the video. Basically, less shadow on the lower lash line. Also bringing your blush up to the bottom portion of your under eyes helps diffuse the shadows. Last recommendation is the Sarah Cearel concealer for the under eyes. It is super lightweight, doesn't crease, and helps colour correct (the lightest shade). It's stupid expensive but worth it. Thank you for your fabulous content 💕
Thank you for this great video! Helpful and entertaining. I was hoping to see celebrities according to style roots! It is an amazing system you created after all.
All my life I have been told I look like Lily Collins! We share the same colour season (Cool/True winter) and at least one essence (Gamine) although I am more Classic, so it’s been almost 10 years that I started doing my hair and makeup similar to hers❤️
Well…I got Sandra Bullock many times but I look nothing like her except we are the same age, and white with brown hair, Lol. I’ll say this, people have a very different approach to how they see us, I do believe that my aura is a similar vibe to Sandra’s. Since doing self study I have come to understand style and color intellectually, since it doesn’t come natural to me, and now I can help myself figure it out instead of relying on randomness. 🎉
It could be your mannerisms people are picking up on as being similar. You don't see all of the small things you do with your face when you're in certain circumstances and mannerisms are a big part of what identifies you from the perspective of other people.
I have been told I look like Baby from Dirty dancing and Pam from The Office, but I cannot find much good style inspo from those two ladies 😅 I sometimes look at Julia Roberts because my mom is told she looks like here and we are somewhat similar.. she has that long nose, curly hair and autumn coloring, but I don't have as much natural in my blend as she... still at least there are more pictures and styles from her!
For colors/seasons too! I have similar coloring to mila kunis and ana de amaras and i use a lot of them as referance Im warm olive so i have to try most of it but it helped!
I do know think looking in the family helps too, since they are not oneself so easier judgment but do have related features like yourself. Especially when they are young. Even more helpful would be some more pictures of them
And what are the ones of us suposed to do who aren't pretty? Cause there's usually not a celebrity look alike cause they aren't alowed in front of the camera....yet.
Use a celebrity look a like filter or app. They use your coloring and bone structure to match you to a celebrity. Many celebrities are perceived as more attractive because they have professional stylists, makeup artists and personal trainers. We aren’t as bad looking as we think, so use AI to get rid of personal biases.
I just came across Ellie Fanning while reading about ingenue, she reminded me of you more than this celeb. More pastels and a similar vibe in my opinion :) super cute :) Would love to see another vid like this with a comparison to her style 😊
I feel like I have similar facial features to Bette Davis but idk if I connect to her style since it’s not very current. I’m gonna go with the style muses you suggested to me based on the style roots I like, so I’m rewatching Buffy again 😅❤. I was thinking of rewatching charmed again as well 😍.
When i was really thin ppl told me i looked like Anne Hathaway, which i think was never true because she has this cute vibe i do not have. Nowadays several ppl said i look like Billie Eilish, which is of no use for me because i do not want to dress like her at all
Don't know if that helps, but a while ago people were saying that Billie's brother's girlfriend Claudia Sulewski looks like her, maybe she's a lookalike candidate for you?🙈
I have been told by several people I look like Selena Gomez, but unfortunately I don’t have the same body type, so I just take inspiration from her hairstyles and makeup lol
I've had Chappell Roan since she blew up, which is very interesting and flattering. EJ typed me as Gamine essence with Theatrical Romantic body type, so I wonder if Chappell fits close to those categories too? Also it's a little harder to emulate her style day-to-day as she dresses in drag but I do LOVE the drama, will likely do her for Halloween next year.
What about celebrities from previous eras? I’ve been told since I was a teenager that I was a dead ringer for Hedy Lamar. I had to look her up, but we have the same coloring, are probably both SDs (debated, but if she actually was 5’8”…), and some similar essences. However, most of her photos are B&W, and the styles she wore are very vintage, of course. I don’t know how to translate this, and I don’t know of any current celebrities who look like her.
I have a similar problem! Put it this way, no one would ever accuse me of having "iPhone face" or of looking like a contemporary celebrity. My late mother would say I reminded her of Cyd Charisse or Marlene Dietrich (long legs). Once I found pictures of Myrna Loy I said "Aha"--she and I have almost the same face. Meantime my fiance has compared me to Ava Gardner and Rita Hayworth. I'm SD as well, so it turns out there's a strong basis for a lot of the comparisons I've had. Styles: Disregard the frills and embellishments of the era and look at things like silhouette, necklines, how the fabric drapes across the body. After that it's no great matter to find contemporary equivalents. Hope that helps!
A lot of people has said to me that my celebrity look alike is Evan Rachel Wood. I do see the resemblance in facial features but I don't think we have a similar body type. She also seems to have a very particular style lol I don't see myself in most of what I've seen her wear.
So interesting how people see differently. To me she definitely has vibe of Amanda and also her looks. Emma Stone I would never say, she has completely different facial bone structure and everything. Ellie has much much longer face, bigger lips nose and eyes, different cheeks... Emma has round or squarish face, nothing like Ellie. Also their energy and vibe is completely different but with Amanda it's much more similar.
🤔 seriously considering trying this method more. I totally get feeling like you're being compared to any celebrity who is blonde (or x feature), because that's how I felt about my comparisons. -But if I do remind people of a celebrity then there has to be something I can get from their presentation even if at most it's an overall vibe, so I think this method is completely valid. My most common comparisons are Selena Gomez and The Mona Lisa. hahah
Literally yesterday a stranger told me I look like Ally Sheedy from The Breakfast Club, which I’ve gotten that quite a few times over the years, sometimes people referencing the movie War Games, so maybe I should go full on 80s style 😅😅
I'd have to mix Anya Taylor Joy's ethereal, Kat Denning's romantic and a tinge of Kiera Knightley for the theatrical/gamine vibe. Jane Seymour or Mila Kunis for body type?
Loved the Amanda Seyfried look on you, especially the slightly darker makeup 💖 I think Soft Summer fits you well. For me I think I am Dark Autumn and either Narrow or Medium-Straight-Long in the body matrix. I see bits of myself in many Dramatics and some Flamboyant Naturals but I don't really feel like I have a close celeb look alike. I asked my husband and he was like 🤷🏾♂️
Suggestion: At 10:40 you have tried to replicate Amanda's hairstyle, however the the hair partition needs to be further to the side, otherwise it draws too much attention to the forehead.
I've been compared to Sandra Bullock since childhood. I believe she is also a deep winter like me. Although I don't know if I would like to copy her style. I prefer dramatic, edgy, goth styles and from what I have seen of her she seems to favor a more conventional, laid-back style.
I insisted on looking like Brigitte Bardot despite no one seeing it in my acquaintances. Same colour season and body type. As I glowed up I finally got told by a friend that I looked like her.
Not sure if I have an overall celeb look alike but I do feel like I have similar facial features to a young Gillian Anderson and have been using her for makeup inspiration.
I think to complete Amanda Seyfrieds look you definetly need more volume in your roots. Try some hair spray, lay some strands on the other side of your part… this would really suit you imo
the thing is, everyone i ask says i look like lily collins but it's merely because of my dark eyebrows and big eyes so i'm gonna focus on your method to find mine hahaha
My husband says my body looks like Scarlett johansson's body. I think my face looks like anjelica huston's or cate blanchet (when I feel nicer about myself). What do I do with this combination?
My mom used to tell me that she saw me growing up to look like Liv Tyler. She liked how she carried herself and was still dainty with her length. My ex’s mom always told me I looked like Alisha Newton from Heartland. I saw myself more with Gal Gadot or Phoebe Tonkin. Very ethereal and dramatic, but I have such full cheeks compared to any celebrity now that they all fill and suck their faces. I know I’m only 22 years young, but I feel so baby faced compared to my doppelgängers. I keep hoping every birthday that I’ll lose my cheeks. I pick a lot of my styling from Phoebe’s CW characters, blending soft knits and feminine designs with the dark ethereal aesthetic. But I keep feeling I fall short to the dramatic and romantic essence of my styles. They fit great with my SD curves but when I get to my face, unless I’ve got a smokey eye on, the intensity fizzles.
I've been told several times that I look like Scarlett Johansson. ❤ Always a huge compliment. Sadly I don't have her juicy lips and perfectly curvy figure. I'm more Audrey Hepburn shape, a lot more straight up and down, petite and a little angular dare I say. 😏
The number 1 person I get told I look like is Amanda seyfried as well. I just have naturally darker hair and eyebrows. And warmer undertones than her. I can see you as an Amanda as well❤️
U know girl about under ur eyes (like I have) u can still like improve say if u wake up w them puffier than usual like it doesn't mean you can't improve to any degree :) and it's cute/fashionable :) 😃
I'm often told that I look like Emmy Rossum. I see some resemblance but not a lot. When I was younger I got Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley a lot. The four of us have different color seasons. Emmy is a bright spring, Natalie a Dark Autumn and Keira a Dark Winter. I am a Soft Summer (or Soft Summer Deep).
When i was younger people always said i looked like kristen stewart. But her nose is button. Then it was kat dennings and now its margot robbie. Literally none of them look alike so i dont get it. Is there a website we can go to w ai?
I really struggled to find a look alike. I am half Chinese and the half Chinese I found has way stronger features than me and a very different essence and bone structure etc. I looked for ages and used apps and only got 33 percent look alikes using AI apps. Reese Witherspoon has a similar wide heart shape face as me but she’s blond and I am lightly tanned, freckles, hazel eyes and dark golden brown hair. Any suggestions? Slightly Asian features but leaning more towards euro features.
Ive gotten Anne Hathaway, i think we are a similar body type and essence blend but i also dont think we look alike at all and ive gotten Liv Tyler i think because we have the same colour season

All my life I have been told I look like Lily Collins! We share the same colour season (Cool/True winter) and at least one essence (Gamine) although I am more Classic, so it’s been almost 10 years that I started doing my hair and makeup similar to hers❤️
I'm so jealous of true winters!
I think baby too!!
You look so much like baby!! (and I mean that as a huge compliment😍)
I wish you’d gone for the light spring makeup too! You do have similar coloring and suit brighter hues when they’re light.
For colors/seasons too!
I have similar coloring to mila kunis and ana de amaras and i use a lot of them as referance
Im warm olive so i have to try most of it but it helped!
I do know think looking in the family helps too, since they are not oneself so easier judgment but do have related features like yourself. Especially when they are young. Even more helpful would be some more pictures of them
You look amazing in general, but especially when you line your water line!!
I’ll have to try this. My celebrity look alike is Calista Flockhart and I always loved her hair style and neat menswear inspired clothes.
3:02 is it just me or is there a weird popping noise in the background?
There is yeah 😂
Ohh that skirt is gorgeous! What a find😊
You look gorgeous!!! 💖💖💖
I just pre ordered your book and I'm so excited
I just came across Ellie Fanning while reading about ingenue, she reminded me of you more than this celeb. More pastels and a similar vibe in my opinion :) super cute :) Would love to see another vid like this with a comparison to her style 😊
I feel like I have similar facial features to Bette Davis but idk if I connect to her style since it’s not very current. I’m gonna go with the style muses you suggested to me based on the style roots I like, so I’m rewatching Buffy again 😅❤. I was thinking of rewatching charmed again as well 😍.
a colour analysis won’t really look at your hair- just the tone of the hair. I think you are a true summer.
Just tried all the AI and celeb lookalike sites the best match they could get was 30-ish% lol my face wasn’t meant for stardom 😅
I’ve gotten Kerry Washington and OG Model Lauren Hutton lol. Makeup wise I like both in my color season
Honestly, I see your eye bags significantly LESS! This makeup look is so nice on you.
I think Chappell is thought to be one of the petite types (FG/SG/TR), and I do think she has some gamine essence.
I don't see Amanda Seyfried at all. I immediatly thought Emma Stone and throughout the video as you moved your face, maybe Olivia Wilde
Olivia Wilde for sure!
I think Pandora from Skins
Theyre are so many times in TBBT when Kaley Coucou look so similiar to my reflection, I think shes also a natural kibbe.
I don't think i have a celebrity look a like. But I'm also Asian and i guess most people around me don't know that many Asian celebrities?
🤔 seriously considering trying this method more. I totally get feeling like you're being compared to any celebrity who is blonde (or x feature), because that's how I felt about my comparisons. -But if I do remind people of a celebrity then there has to be something I can get from their presentation even if at most it's an overall vibe, so I think this method is completely valid. My most common comparisons are Selena Gomez and The Mona Lisa. hahah
I love the style matrix pinterest boards, it reminded me how stylish Hilary Duff is
Literally yesterday a stranger told me I look like Ally Sheedy from The Breakfast Club, which I’ve gotten that quite a few times over the years, sometimes people referencing the movie War Games, so maybe I should go full on 80s style 😅😅
I definitely see what they mean.
I asked my husband and he was like 🤷🏾♂️
It's tough for some! I don't have a good lookalike either. From your little profile pic, what about Anne Hathaway?
Very creative and interesting video Thanks ❤
Not sure if I have an overall celeb look alike but I do feel like I have similar facial features to a young Gillian Anderson and have been using her for makeup inspiration.
You look so much like Emma Myers!!
Yes!
Based on your color analysis videos your hair color surprises me as the mousy brown shade you have now doesn’t match your coloring the best
I think to complete Amanda Seyfrieds look you definetly need more volume in your roots. Try some hair spray, lay some strands on the other side of your part… this would really suit you imo
The only look alike I’ve been given is ingrid bergman
Lucky you! She's beautiful.
the thing is, everyone i ask says i look like lily collins but it's merely because of my dark eyebrows and big eyes so i'm gonna focus on your method to find mine hahaha
The Amanda inspired look is cute. The hair is especially good.
Mine is emilia clark, but we have different color seasons 😊
Same lol. 😂
Preordered for the U.S. 😊
That girl does not look like Megan fox LOL
Having trouble figuring out the style for Sasha pieterse. Is she just soft glam?
Omg you're a soft summer indeed!
I know it was your favourite colour palette. Do you think people are naturally drawn to their color season palette?
I've been told several times that I look like Scarlett Johansson. ❤ Always a huge compliment. Sadly I don't have her juicy lips and perfectly curvy figure. I'm more Audrey Hepburn shape, a lot more straight up and down, petite and a little angular dare I say. 😏
The number 1 person I get told I look like is Amanda seyfried as well. I just have naturally darker hair and eyebrows. And warmer undertones than her. I can see you as an Amanda as well❤️
I'm a woman, everyone tell me I look like David Bowie, so😂😂😂😂
I get Taylor Swift, Amanda Seyfried and Drew Barrymore the most. I need to play with this more!
I asked my family and they said diferent people: Wonyoung, Lisa and Katie Mcgraph . i liked it tbh
I've gotten almost every redhead: Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, Rita Hayworth, and a few times Scarlett Johansson.
So who knows who I look like lol.
When I was younger I used to get Penelope Cruz all the time, but she is very small and petite and I'm tall and more soft natural I guess.
I used to get Selena Gomez when I was younger but I actually think I look more like her wax figure
When i was younger people always said i looked like kristen stewart. But her nose is button. Then it was kat dennings and now its margot robbie. Literally none of them look alike so i dont get it. Is there a website we can go to w ai?
This is a really fun experiment. That is a great evening look on you! You look a lot like Amanda.
I think you favor the actress Emily Kinney too.
I’ve gotten Anna Kendrick and Reese Whiterspoon both SG apparently, which sent me through the longest loophole. Now I have settled on FG
hey ellie! i'd love it if you could do a whole analysis on nina dobrev from her days on tvd (2009) till 2024 ❤
Mine has to be Kelly Brooks considering body type, hair, features. Not as tall as her though and i wonder if thats a factor that would change things
Ive gotten Anne Hathaway, i think we are a similar body type and essence blend but i also dont think we look alike at all and ive gotten Liv Tyler i think because we have the same colour season
I've also gotten Zooey Deschanel but I think that's just purely based on vibes and style of clothes I like same with Krysten Ritter
Please please add Lucy Boynton to the list!!
Would love to see you type Dua Lipa. Wide Long Medium? Wide Long Straight? Epitome of FN and her styling can be gorgeous
