    What hobbies do you have? Do you find it hard to enjoy those hobbies and still live minimally?
    P.S. You're the best if you watched all the way to the end and caught Glo's goodbye pose! 🦸😉

      I honestly have too many "hobbies" that I do for months/years and quit, then end up going back to them for months and quit again. I feel bored if I spend my free time only on one thing.
      Do you have any suggestions to avoid not focusing on anything?

      It's not that hard in my case: Books: library or kindle, watercolors: 2 palets and paper, watching series: computer. You just have to stop yourself from buying everything you see, specially if you are just trying a new hobby 🤷🏻‍♀️

      My hobbies are bouldering and archery! It’s hard to stay minimal because there’s quiet a few products needed. But I tried my best to got most of it secondhand and I’m looking forward to repair any of it if it breaks, instead of buying it new!☺️ Amazing Video, thank you for the inspiration!

      @@ruisugarushia Hi there! Honestly, I actually think that's OK. My gut tells me that over time, after trying so many things that you like, you'll eventually realize what you *love*. Maybe you're just taking some time to get there :)

      I like gardening. Although I keep it simple on the tools, it's hard to keep minimal on the plant collection 😂 BTW I'm really interested in knowing more about other minimalist people's hobbies, since I'm running out of ideas with this damn quarantine.

    Minismalism is not a competition about how many items a person has but more about having items that are actually useful and that fullfil a person's needs, professionally or personally.
    P.S: Just wanted to say that I first found your channel a couple months ago and really like the aesthetic of them! Can't wait for more :)

    Nice video guys! I just enjoy having a good desk setup to be productive and work from in general, but some things such as the mechanical keyboard is a deep hole to dive into, and can cost a lot too! I have also been proven many times that upgrading is not always worth it, and there was no need for it, so I'm just trying to find the perfect balance between maximising productivity and keeping a lookout for my wallet

    Hey HL and Glo! Firstly i love your videos and have just been binge watching them 😍 Your aesthetics and values are pretty similar to my partner and i's too! I just have some video suggestions:
    1. A vid on your storage system cuz it seems like yall have quite the number of condiments, kitchen applicances and hobbies/workout gear. Also cuz i don't really see shelves/cabinets in the hse!
    2. On hindsight, any renovation mistakes yall wished yall could turn back time to fix/redo again (if any)
    Thanks in advance!! Keep doing what you're doing 💯💯

    As a musician, I will never be able to be as "minimalist" as some of my peers. I have guitars, amps, pedals, etc. Plus camera and recording gear. I'm OK with that. I feel it's more important to be happy and to be intentional. Having enough is great. Having too much, not so great. I still have work to do to reach "enough" from my current state of "too much".

      Cool, go for it! The best tip we can give is to just start creating. We've dabbled with making videos for a while, but the earlier videos from when we have 0+ subscribers were totally unwatchable 😂 The more you create, the more you'd learn and improve. It's the boring answer but it's absolutely true!
      Maybe in the future we will talk about our journey and the creating process. Good luck! 💪

    I really want to get back into digital art. The problem is, I haven't had a computer in a long time. The good thing is, I should be able to afford one in a month or so if I estimated the cost correctly. I haven't been able to make digital art in years, but it's one of my favorite things to do. The reason I stopped is a long story, but I'm excited to return to that hobby soon ^_^

    I love the idea of forcing us to use the creativity to squeeze the performance out of our kit. I'm looking to get into simple video making and photography. Love the camera and lens recommendation in your list. But do you have something more compatible (i.e. wide angle lens, 50mm, standard zoom lens) for the Canon EOS RP/R to share? Thanks in advance :)

    • @ThoughtworthyCo
      @ThoughtworthyCo  4 роки тому +1

      We actually just got a Canon EOS RP. With the EF to RF adapter, we can use all the lenses that we currently own. If you want to take 1080p videos, just make sure to try and get lenses designed for full-frames and not APS-C (e.g. our SIGMA 17-55mm lens is designed for APS-C). Good luck 💪

    • @ThoughtworthyCo
      @ThoughtworthyCo  4 роки тому

      Hi there! It's not a filter, we actually drew the animation manually 😅 It's a pretty tedious process and there're probably better ways of doing it. But we're very new to animating stuff ourselves so that'll have to do for now. Cheers!

    • @ThoughtworthyCo
      @ThoughtworthyCo  3 роки тому

      Hey! I think there's still a lot of work to do to improve on the quality of our videos! I'm no expert, but there are 2 important things I've learnt:
      1. Get the exposure and white balance as right as you can when shooting
      2. Don't overdo it on the grading (we usually do quite subtle, minimal grading on our footage)
      Good luck :)
