Caught one in the creek in pomeroy pa, beautiful snakes. Harmless but definitely skittish. Great find fella!

Northern water snake not poisonous but can be very grumpy .

Ive had one very aggressively attack my half night crawler bait and ive seen another one on the yellow Breeches creek that had to be over 5ft long

Around here this is a pretty big snake. In Florida, amongst the feral pythons, it would indeed not be very large!
