Incredible! Welcome to the Oklahoma/Texas area. We had a "cool front" move through which is unusual as it is hard for fronts to get down south this time of the year. I so enjoy watching your fishing adventures. I'm retired and don't get around so well anymore, but that doesn't mean I can't at least watch someone enjoy fishing here on YT. That one side of the road was a honey hole. Take care.
@@gvxfdgsfddvgfxx8715 All due respect, my reply was one month ago and the high was 93. We had a cool front with rain move through which cooled us off from the the usual for a day. The temperature did reach 100 Aug 26, but never hit 105 for the remainder of August. Perhaps where you are from, maybe it was 105 about a week ago. End of conversation.
This is literally about a mile from my house. I have fished the other side(east side) many years ago. There aren't any catfish in here other than some small bullheads. I remember catching a few crappie out of there back then. This is part of an overflow from a pond on the south side of 136th St. I have seen gar in the pond before as well as some pretty decent sized bass.
I was having a slow day yesterday, much like the past 2 weeks straight have been. Thiught about going home, but I remembered picking up 5 crick hoppers like you use at wal mart. I threw them out along the dock and the. Bluegill went berserk over it. They were swarming it like a hive. Even had a bass about 1 lb or so smash it on top of the water, scaring the crap out of me in the process. That was fun!! I'll definitely be using those things from now on at least several casts each time I go.
Hey John, thanks for thinking about us UA-cam channel friends while you are on vacation. It is greatly appreciated. The Warmouth and Green Sunfish bruisers were simply gorgeous fish. Yes, out of all the videos I've watched of yours, they have to be some of the largest. Well done. Be safe man while driving.
Thank you so much for sharing all of these super places that we otherwise would just pass on by. I can't wait to get out later when summer gets going and find some of those kind of places around here. My husband and I are at the age where we can go and explore and take our time, but we can't do the steep bank climbing. That's ok though since we live in the land of 10,000 lakes, there is always somewhere that has public access. Thanks again for such a fun time watching. Happy fishing.
Reminds me of my childhood in Plano, Texas. I would fish small creeks catching bluegill and channel cats. It was a lot less populated in the 70's, fishing spots everywhere! Another great video, keep up the fun amigo!

I live in Tulsa. Next time you fish here go to the Arkansas river below the Keystone damn west side of downtown Tulsa. You’ll catch small mouth, largemouth, crappie, walleye, and occasionally a nice ten pound striper.
flint creek is just east of there and it has so many different species and some of the most beautiful sunfish you will find. I also caught my PB smallie out of there, I have one video on my channel from there. Good vid bud loved it

Nice theres a creek right behind my apartment went fishing there the other day this creek was full of green sun fish caught about 10 of them tiny little creeek not more than 3-4 ft across
the beauty of water is fish will find their way into it. They are in there even if you can't see them aside of some seriously polluted streams. Thank GOD we don't see them as much we used to do. Sadly there are lots of creeks and streams that are ruined forever.
