I never thought I’d ever see a television series of the calibre of the Wire, the Sopranos or BB again. Mr In-Between was that and Australian too. Scott Ryan really IS a magician.

The trouble with Mr. Inbetween. There's so much violence sooner or latter ( If his pledge of harming women) would have crumbled. If the series continued.
Ray’s smile isn’t that scary. His scowl is infinitely more terrifying, the look he gave that guy who kept the little girl in a suitcase made me shiver.

@crisdeanmackenzie PET bottles can be clear, and polyethylene is safe to store HF acid in. I can’t swear that’s an accurate labeling, and I can’t swear I’d know the difference between a plastic bottle and glass bottle hitting the table, but you have to remember these are artistic choices for the scene to communicate to the audience. The bottle hitting the table punctuates the scene like an exclamation point, which shows up on the scammers face. Then the shot reverses so we can see the label on the bottle. It builds dramatic tension that might not otherwise be understood if absolutely true to life choices were made about the bottle and the label. But yeah, HF eats glass, good job, you understand what a dangerous chemical it is.
I wonder if the dude had been straight with him, Ray mighta let him off with a beating and taking his cash, or if he was resolved to kill him from the start.
