Sniper deserves more credit than the Bodyguard. He managed the shot the same car from left side , back, and the right side from 2 km away and not changing his position.

So where do you get a bodyguard this good he was one comforting her the whole way through he was to acting quick and calm the whole way trough him self was very talented and always armed that’s how you now he is professional It’s just incredible 😮
While I have only seen clips of the show the bodyguard character like many members of the British military would have been a veteran of terrorist conflict. If you are genuinely interested modern soldiers practice a particular style of counterattack when ambushed called "React to Contact". You IMMEDIATELY identify the source of fire and attack it when under fire. This accomplishes two things 1) Gets you out of the ambush zone 2) Surprises the enemy hopefully hitting him at close range. This is helped by the fact yourself likely will have body armor and an automatic weapon yourself. Putting a large amount of fire on an ambusher's location will hopefully keep their head down as you advance. For many units this style of combat is muscle memory drilled so deep it's like a boxer putting up his hands. The bodyguard did something similar with the speed of the car and quick thinking, by closing with the sniper he got his principle out of the kill zone. There are many brave souls out there, some protect others with skills like this, and some with barely anything at all, but all of them brave. Best wishes to you and yours. JT of the 1st Infantry
back in the day when i worked for the JBC (Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation) we never used fake blood. We used goat blood. It smells funny and the actors always have this genuine look of disgust on their faces.

1] Even though, she had kept her head below the window, even then she could have been shot as the sniper was on the terrace and the gun is facing down to shoot her. So, don't you all think that she could have been killed even then. 2] Now, in another scenario, the sniper has already taken so many shots on the window... So, definitely the sniper wouldn't have been able to take any of the shots on her ecen though her head was above the window limit. But, both the scenarios wouldn't even happen if that car had non-transparent windows bcoz every politician or even the President's car itself would have non-transparent windows so no one can take the shot at the person sitting in the car making it difficult for even a person bypassing from the car to shoot the person sitting inside a car no matter which designation that person holds. 3] Also, drivers are shot first, so the president or any politician sitting inside can't flee from the scene and the sniper can take the shot at the target leisurely without any problem. But, then again if the driver is shot and if he dies, then the car stayed in the same place for some time, he should have shot at the tyres first and then shoot as many bullets as possible at the fuel tank. Also, if the person is very important, then there should have been more than one sniper and also assassins on the road to try to gain access in the car and check on the person whether she is still alive or dead and abduct or kill on the spot if she was still alive. Well, I'm guessing all these things just after watching only this demo video and not the whole episode or series. Sorry guys, if it was too much of an analysis.
Those who say that this is the most realistic scene in the world. 1)The sniper fires max a few shots, and then leaves the position as quickly as possible if he is not a suicide, of course ... 2) The sniper easily killed the driver, but did not kill the main character in the same place... 3) there is so much blood on the woman as if the driver was dissected alive while he was lying on her. 4) armor plates on the doors hold a certain number of shots. If an experienced shooter tries to break through the plate, he will shoot at about the same place. 5) well, and it’s not clear why a sniper who made 3 hits in the armored glass of a moving car and killed the driver (which is practically impossible), after that becomes completely unskilled and cannot even hit the center of the car ... And Etc...
@@youtubeaccountlol4942 ending was underwhelming and felt rushed and put together but for an 8 episode show and counting the last 30 mins of runtime and some boring/muddied bits in the middle aside it's a solid 8/10 to me. action scenes are great.

Very real......he, himself started to panic but then his training pulled him out of it ( in the seat scene).....he composed and carried on ( excellent acting ) !
It’s great acting but I don’t find it realistic. In real life the guard would of jumped in the back seat with her protecting her body with his and he wouldn’t of left her alone outside like a sitting duck to run and chase the sniper down until backup arrived because he would have no idea if this was just a single actor or organized.
@@K1forMVP You know, they got that SAS guy Billy Billingham to review this scene and he basically said almost everything he did would have been done, bar what you said, but another officer arrives, WITH a gun, so he doesn't just leave her to chase the sniper. @@solthegamer3769 backup never came lol, which is one of the key points of this scene. He left her with the officers from another car which was part of her motorcade.
@@K1forMVP No his job is to protect her. The sniper could have positioned in a way that he could have hit the woman. He only assumed that they were in a safe spot because he kept hitting the armor. If anyone would attempt this move it would be him and he did so it still seems pretty realistic to me.

Still the most realistic target assassination scenes I’ve ever watched. After 10 years in the military, this is ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON REALISTIC. It hasn’t been bettered since. Also, Richard Madden is excellent in this role. He doesn’t over egg the role of The Bodyguard. He underplays it. Having worked with 8 bodyguards over the years, I can categorically tell you they generally have to be incredibly consolidated in their approach to anything. It’s a mistake most movies make, making the Bodyguard out to be some sort of hero figure & action man type. In reality, they are resolved, reserved & incredibly singular in their manner & approach. I’d shit my pants driving in a simple snow storm let alone something like this!!!!😹😹😹😹 Richard Madden obviously did a great deal of research. I still to this day think he would be the PERFECT James Bond.👌
@@ms16648 the whole reason for no backup was cuz they were tryna get her killed and frame him for the whole thing. ur saying it’s not realistic based on a lot of stuff that was intentional, that was meant to be noticed.

Not unless you knew how to turn the wheel from the passenger side. The smart thing to have done irl was turn the wheel as if your trying to escape. Not jerk the wheel to crash into other shit. Having had to deal with people passing out in front of the wheel i learned to drive without being the one in the drivers seat after just a minute the first go around. And your saying a bodyguard with defensive driving skills cant do the same? He literally used those skills to drive backwards a minute or 2 later. Such poor acting on that account. So where do you get a bodyguard this good he was one comforting her the whole way through he was to acting quick and calm the whole way trough him self was very talented and always armed that’s how you now he is professional
It’s just incredible 😮
While I have only seen clips of the show the bodyguard character like many
members of the British military would have been a veteran of terrorist
conflict. If you are genuinely interested modern soldiers practice a particular
style of counterattack when ambushed called "React to Contact". You
IMMEDIATELY identify the source of fire and attack it when under fire.
This accomplishes two things 1) Gets you out of the ambush zone
2) Surprises the enemy hopefully hitting him at close range.
This is helped by the fact yourself likely will have body armor and an
automatic weapon yourself. Putting a large amount of fire on an ambusher's
location will hopefully keep their head down as you advance. For many units
this style of combat is muscle memory drilled so deep it's like a boxer
putting up his hands. The bodyguard did something similar with the speed
of the car and quick thinking, by closing with the sniper he got his principle
out of the kill zone.
There are many brave souls out there, some protect others with skills
like this, and some with barely anything at all, but all of them brave.
Best wishes to you and yours. JT of the 1st Infantry

Stannis The Mannis who u calling smartass?
