Hey phly, use the universlal belts for AN/M2s! Its the same as ground targets, except the practice round is replaced by a HE round, witch is at least effective against aircraft.

When Helldivers could drop bombs on the Yamato so easily but vs. Flakpanzer they are very vulnerable
Well... how many flak panzers can you fit on the same area as the deck surface of the Yamato?
I bet there is a few hundred flakpanzers difference in target size...

Despite this, the poor fire control and inexperianced crew + main aa fire control being knocked out early led to only 10 planes being shot down, 7 due to the magazine explosion I remmeber

You are finally playing my favorite low tier plane. I haven't been able to watch the video completely but I really hoped you used its second skill.... 20mm AP belts. It SHREDS tanks at this tier. You can get a bomb kill than 2-3 tanks with the cannons and then shred a plane or two in one flight

i absolutely LOVE the SB2C-1C, the next oone up has freaking HVAR and its fun if you can aim them, it hjas a lot more options. You shold do the AM-1 mauler sometime! it has a huge loadout

Phly, if you wanna use rockets use the Triplex R.P ones, you can find them on the Sea Fury FB 11.
it’s pretty much like nords without the control, they can one shot tigers and panthers.
@PhlyDaily the M8 bazooka rockets are also very good around 3.3. I use them on the P-39N, the P-38G, and the A-20G against open tops and you can get great overpressure kills with them. Very useful now, especially against AAA.

The Sdkfz 251 is a REALLY REALLY good anti air…. It is amazing
You can use the naval mine. It has about the same explosive mass as the 2000lb bomb. Also, universal belts for US 20mms will chew through anything. You can also top down pen a lot of vehicles at 3.3.
Sounds like we might be due for a revisit of the Long Range Yeets of the Calliope.

Hey phly, i love your videos man, and since you mentioned rockets what about a F6F-5N with Tiny Tims video ? Overpressure really buffed those imo.
Tiny Tims on the 3.7 F6F are perfect imo, They're very easy to aim once you find out how. Same spot every time.

I never used the rp3 when it had the OP splash but it's pretty accurate and will one-shot anything it penetrates.
I'm sad I was taking a break from WT when they did the Swordfish mkII (8 RP3 at 1.0) event.

RP3s are actually pretty good right now. One direct hit kills everything and light targets can be hit within like 3 meters from my experience.

Phly, when are you gonna do some naval torp/dive bombing? My grandma can get a kill by phlying CAS in ground RB, it takes real balls to go against phlack that blots out your screen with tracers and shrapnel
In Naval RB I had some of the most phun in my wt career. It’s so awesome dive bombing and dodging all the phlak. 😃

Helldiver was mostly used as torpedo bomber since Navy had Dauntless as dive bomber and I read a lot of pilots didn't like this plane too much. But Phly showed us it's worth playing it
True, although the torpedo would have to hang out of the bomb bay unlike the TBF avenger that could carry it fully internally.
The helldiver initally had issues with carrier landing capability, plus became too heavy after requiring 880 modification before being accepted into service, where then its main role was already essentially replaced by fighter bombers carrying the same bomloads but much faster, while also able to fend off fighters after dropping thier bombs

If you think it's fun in RB, this aircraft is a blast in Simulator. It's really fun to locate and dive on targets with no markers. Would recommend rudder pedals, a joystick with twist to yaw just doesn't fit the bill.

Super underrated plane fasho
The American one is one of maybe two aircraft I have fully maxed crew skill levels. It's my go to for all ground targets with bomber tasks. The other is the Russian Premium IL-2. Those & the Wyvern are responsible for about 50% of all research in their prospective nations.

Phly please use the SU-6 at 5.0 it has 10 incredible rockets and performs like a fighter and you can equip it with the 23 mms which are much better then the 37s

When i was a newer player i hated the m10 but now that i have over 3000 hours its one of my most used tanks when i play the lower br’s with my friends

Instead of using the 1000lb bomb, I recommend using the naval mine, unless I’m wrong it has more high explosive and they explode like regular bombs when you drop them on the ground

It’s the best 8.3 jet in the entire game.

Do some torpedo drops at 500 kph and play hide and seek with the AA in the F6F-5 in blue water battles. Its a great time
