Whenever you see numbers in a arranged in that format with steam locomotives, it refers to the arrangement of the wheels. For example, 2-4-2, this means there are 2 wheels in front, one on each side, then 4 driving wheels (2 per side) which are driven by the steam from the boiler, then 2 wheels after the driving wheels. By this logic you can identify the layout of the locomotive by a simple set of numbers. 0-10-0 is a locomotive with no wheels in front or behind of the driving wheels and there are 5 driving wheels per side. I know I’m late to the party but I hope that I helped!

Since train have two set wheels, then times it 2 and you got X-10-X locomotives. The more driver wheels means the train have bigger power. One of the strongest locomotives ever made is Big Boy, with realtively huge set of wheels, 4-8-8-4 (4 front neutral wheels, 4 set of driver wheels (each have 4, so total have 16), and 4 back neutral wheels). you can rapid fire ATGMs whilst on an allied capture point because their resupply time is alot faster than their reload time. I know this is true for Warrior and Ratel 20, not sure about others.

I will say, bomb skipping is incredibly useful in naval, as often I don’t have time to drop it perfectly, so I come in fast off the deck and drop a bomb and let it skip into the side of a ship while I pull off. Saves time and can actually save your plane.
@@rocket2739 I set mine to a 1.5 second timer, it's generally good enough for the bomb to hit the side of the ship and drop to the waterline, ideally detonating ammo when it explodes. it can be iffy for bombs below 250kg, I find 500kg bombs give the best result. I use the Me410 at 4.0 with the 2x500kgs in individual drops. One is good for a DD and most cruisers if you hit the ammo, larger ships might need both.
I can't remember if it was said in another video but a lot of people dont know that you can mark where you are looking for squad mates. You go into Controls > common, and in there you will be able to set a key to "set target for squad" and it is extremely useful as it can be more accurate that scouting but is only visible for squadmates

4:04 the P-47 also has one, they're probably landing lights to project the area ahead and ensure a safe landing. Pretty sure a couple other aircraft have them too! I just wish Gaijin would let us use them to fight in the clouds.
Helis have retractable landing lights too but i think only those on the Ka50 actually retract because they are coupled to landing gear controls. There also other features coupled to the landing gear e.g the Antenna on the M.S.405/406/410 or D.520, the ventral fin of the Mig-23 and the Radar system on the Shackleton. Some Bombers even have retractable Gunner stations.
Regarding the AVRE's repair ability, I would also like to add that, despite being classified as TD, the Type 60 ATM can also help repair allies, as well as mark enemies.
So could the Centauros, event before they classified them as light tanks. Class 3 (P) had the modifications too, yet it couldn't use them. Now it's a light tank too. There's more SPGs with this feature, like Type 60 SPRG(C), M56, M50, ASU-57, ASU-85, ... Even some top tier SPAAs like Stormer, Type 93, the big trucks ... every SAM only SPAA, it seems.

They're low enough BR to escape the guided missile hell, but high enough BR where games might actually be super close. I've had a super clutch zone capture in my AH-1 more than once. Low and high BRs always seem to be a total wash for one team.

the info for the Centurion AVRE repair assist and the ammo cook off are actually useful as it lets you know you can save teammates with the centurion and avoid death with light tanks when doing combat at close range. (Edit: it appears they made it so most tanks can help with repairs now. they just have to be a similar vehicle that uses the same parts.)

Biggest mistakes i see people make while dogfighting is going into the scissor maneuver whenever they cross up with another plane. You almost always want to go into a rolling scissor
Some of these are extremely useful, especially the clock. Long-time flights can take a lot of time and I often forget it's already 5am. That was my biggest issue with the harrier it does not have a clock.
I knew about the clock. Previously I played Il2 and there the clock would be set by the mission. Day, dawn, dusk, night would have set times. Not only the mission would tell you what time of the day it is but you could also look at the clock and see if the light conditions would improve. Mostly it would start at 12:00 which i found useful for keeping track of the mission time. But whatever most people play WT in 3th person anyway.

Hexagons are indeed bestagons.
Some of these are extremely useful, especially the clock. Long-time flights can take a lot of time and I often forget it's already 5am. That was my biggest issue with the harrier it does not have a clock.
I knew about the clock. Previously I played Il2 and there the clock would be set by the mission. Day, dawn, dusk, night would have set times. Not only the mission would tell you what time of the day it is but you could also look at the clock and see if the light conditions would improve. Mostly it would start at 12:00 which i found useful for keeping track of the mission time. But whatever most people play WT in 3th person anyway.

Test driving every vehicle using the wiki is genius. Very usefull tip have been playing since pretty much the beginning and didn't know about this.
Except it doesn't work. The wiki just takes you to the vehicle's hanger "page" and if its not unlocked, no test ride for you.
