"Sam leaping through time, helping creators put things right that once went wrong".
Who got the reference? 😜
Think you might need an Al in your next video 👀
0:01 MISSTAKES
I see what you did there.
He’s back!
I'm guilty of all of these mistakes, thats why I go to the discord to get people to help me fix them lol
How to find those people?
Great to see you back Sam. Thanks for the video!
This is fantastic. Your storytelling has come on leaps and bounds, and the silent movie style b-roll is great.
Oh man I remember you talking about this video on stream a while back , did a great job on it Sam!
Happy to see you're back posting Sam! Great video as well
Is nice to have you back, thank you for the tips!
This video was excellent. Perfectly explained examples of how to improve. Thank you!
I have done all of these "MISSATKES". Lol, nice!
Dude, thank You so so much for posting this. So many people post tutorials and how to's but rarely do you see videos about how to avoid mistakes out of experience.. thank you, This is the kind of this That really drives home a point for me. I feel like we need More videos of editing mistakes to avoid. Appreciate it! I have learned so much from your videos, I've even seriously been considering learning davinci finally and expanding my horizons.
Absolute banger. Really think this gets a lot of important points across in a neat package that DOES everything it tells you to in the video.
This definitely is an issue for me, I keep wanting to add too many clips to my videos, but I don't have enough of a focus on flow for what I'm doing. Thanks, this helps me take a step back and refocus on what I am working on. Keep up the good content!!!
Great video. Welcome back!
Great to see you back Sam! Amazing video! 💜
I’m guilty of no.1. I run out of time and keep that main camera on me….
Way to go brother
To see how this video evolved over the past few months, between thumbnails and concept, was insightful in its own ways too.
Final product came out amazing Sam!
Thanks my dude! Glad you were around for the ride!
Great stuff. I respect your grind.
also, welcome back man :)
HES ALIVE!
An absolute legend. Been waiting for your next youtube video! I'm gonna take a look at how to make my content more smooth and interested. i def make these mistakes in my gaming videos. Thanks for making videos!
Great video explaining where creators should focus their time when making content!
something about this video seems familiar 😂😂 love the video! really great tips ❤
woaw, really got the vibe of hiller smith advice right there but with a Sam edition. I also love the pacing of the video!
00:01 MISSTAKES
Please tell us it was on purpose 😂
Maybeeeeee 😉
Never realised the importance of B roll until this video thanks!
What advice do you have if your content is centred around Let’s Play & Reaction videos?
Great, concise video to make people think about their workflow and next video. Also would like to add I see many talented creators spending too much time on polishing and over editing if that's the right phrase, when the video is ready and it should be shipped out to be viewed and consumed.
Yep. I spent 2 day editing this one. Added the flashy fun stuff but moved on pretty quickly once it was done. Once you’re able to optimise basic workflow stuff it leaves more for the creative. But then also not spending forever doing it is also important. Personal deadlines are important.
You had me at sandwich...but seriously, those are some great tips that really hit home for me. Looking forward to trying to implement a few in future vids. Cheers big ears 🍻
Aye, I know quantum leap when I see it! Good reference.
Sam leaping through time, helping creators put things right that once went wrong. I had to put a tribute to one of my favourite shows 😉
@@SamWoodhall you have good taste sir. 👌🏽😃👍🏾
It's funny how simple these tips can be and almost every new creator (myself included) just never thought to do any of them. I wish that I could Quantum Leap back a couple of years and fix my first 20 videos or so.
This is a good one Sam, thanks for the upload. I just put out my first video and I think it was okay, but yuo nailed some things I did in this video. Whoops! Thanks for the help!
It's finally out!!! Agreed with the other comments who said the BTS/creation process was invaluable too - thanks as always, Sam!
Can you please drop a video about editing for no commentary gameplays (with everything hopefully being free).
i thought this video has millions of views but its only 4.3k wtf
Lol SAMwhich instead of SANDwich. I see what you did there....
why doesnt your video have any tags to help it to reach more people? not trying to attack but your video can reach more people, and many beginners in the space can benefit from this video
Because tags don't benefit discovery for videos.
@@SamWoodhall how so ?
Tags on videos don’t help much anymore. Tags were proven by multiple channels to have no impact on discoverability. It’s topic, title and thumbnail
1st mistake: buy an Apple computer 😂
Only if you suck at using one.
First
Thanks Sam! For giving out exactly the important suggestions, rather than just trying to make a video with a lot of un-important talk!
The folks who understand its importance appreciate a lot (like me ).
I leave a like if I found a video was a great watch.
Glad you found the information useful! I was concerned with it being 5 minutes as “too” short. But I think that’s something people would appreciate
