I love that you can click on the link in the description and all the ingredients are instantly put in my Bramble Berry cart! I just bought the kit as well as other stuff!! I can’t wait to make this lotion! 💜 Thank you for this video 😊
Another beautiful recipe 🌹 thank you so much for sharing this, I’m a tad late seeing it lol… but still .. that fragrance sounds amazing, it’s going on my wishlist if it’s still available!!! 💕
Hi Anne Marie, I just finished making my very first batch of Fairytale Rose body cream. I had a very hard time getting exact measurements on my digital scales. I have two and tried both but just couldn’t get the right measures. I’m hoping it still comes out ok. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes and knowledge. It was stressful but fun at the same time. Have a wonderful holiday.🎄🙏🏼
I love this! I wish you had a kit with the 2 ounce sizes for the oils in the recipe. You only have 1 lb sizes on your website which makes it too costly for me to purchase. :(
Hi I just started watching your videos... actually I didn't even knew we can make these stuff at home. So I am just enjoying all your videos. Mine is an oily skin. Do have any video on lotion which is good for oily skin? Thanks...
This project uses 9% emulsifying wax. For complete project instructions see our website: www.brambleberry.com/articles-and-projects/projects/body-care/lotion-and-butters/rose-body-cream-project/PS000250.html#q=rose%2Bbody%2Bcream&lang=default&start=1
Could you please do a non comedogenic version i.e. still nice & thick and moisturising but won't make me break out. I have mature, dry, sensitive skin which needs zero comedogenic ingredients. thanks
Water can be swapped with other water based liquids like aloe vera liquid (not gel) or rose water! We offer both on our website! Aloe Vera Liquid: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/additives-and-lye/liquids/aloe-vera-liquid/V000008.html Rose Water: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/additives-and-lye/liquids/rose-water/V000125.html
Hello! I love this video!! I wanted to ask if I were to make this using other fragrances could the Rose Extract be eliminated? If so would i have to replace it with something else or is it considered an additive? Excited to try this Kit.
What can I substitute the avocado butter for? There’s no avocado butter where I live and shipping costs from overseas are just unreasonable expensive to order it for just one project. What would you suggest to use instead?
Shea Butter? That’s pretty easy to get a hold of. According to an article I read, that’s a more common substitute. (I’m a soap aficionado, not a soapmaker. I would suggest looking this up, because there are a lot of articles on it.) 😃
You are awesome 👌 the way you teach is easy to learn you are so professional can i ask you a question were you buy the preservatives and polawax emulsifying
I love this recipe and have made it several times.. I have tried other fragrance oils and color combinations, usually successfully, but am having some problems with the mica falling out. I've tried blending longer and it doesn't always seem to help. Is there a temp that mica should be added to form a better suspension? Do you blend at a high speed or lower one? Sometimes even if I don't get good color the color falls to the bottom. Any ideas?
What is the chemical name for emulsifying wax, the reason I ask is because I'm a seller of hair care products, and one of the items that I sell most of is a hair serum that contains cyclomethicone and dimethicone recently a colleague of mine told me that if I mixed alcohol in the mixture it would be easier to apply on hair and not as greasy, but unfortunately the alcohol would not mix well with the silicones, but I ran on a Blog somewhere that if I mixed an emulsifier it would blend the three products together alcohol and silicone what do you think?
Yes it does! I made this recipe multiple times, it cools to a very thick beautiful cream! For me, it take about an hour or an hour and a half for it to fully cool.
The avocado butter we used is the same one we sell on our website! You can find it here: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/butters/avocado-butter/V000538.html
i am not understanding why you have to use all 3 products to make anything for the body, like Perservatives, Emlusyflyers and Stearic Acid found a product that has all 3 in it. Can I use that instead of all 3 of these different products in anything like Body Butter Hand Cream and lotions?
Hi, you can find the preservatives we sell here: www.brambleberry.com/search?q=preservatives&search_type=Products To learn more about using preservatives in your projects, you can read this article: www.brambleberry.com/articles/ingredient-information/art0029-preservatives-quick-guide.html
Question about the preservative: How long would the shelf life be for this body cream without the preservative? I'm considering making a small batch just for myself (not selling or giving to anyone) so if I use it pretty quickly, I wonder if I can get away with not using it. At my own risk, of course.
I make this recipe all the time!! It's my favourite moisturiser I use jojoba oil instead of squalane cause I can't get my hands on squalane oil to be honest. It's the best moisturiser I ever made. So I think yes, you can substitute the squalane with something else like jojoba for example.
Do you have a scaled down version of this recipe, maybe like 150 - 200 grams instead of what appears to be 850 grams as I think that is what this comes out to be.
We don't have this recipe created in that amount, but you are welcome to calculate a smaller batch by dividing all the measured ingredients by a factor of four!

Can you use honey as the preservative? It is also good for the skin!
Honey is great for the skin! You may want an additional preservative like Optiphen to make sure the body cream stays bacteria-free!
Pl share measurment of all ingredients

Hello bramble berry any product suggestd for melasma
Please please please
Which is better oxides or mica or neon ???
Is it okay if you substitute some of the water for aloe Vera gel and get the same consistency?
Water can be swapped with other water based liquids like aloe vera liquid (not gel) or rose water! We offer both on our website!
Aloe Vera Liquid: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/additives-and-lye/liquids/aloe-vera-liquid/V000008.html
Rose Water: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/additives-and-lye/liquids/rose-water/V000125.html
This you brambldberry! I love you
In the photo it looks like the consistency is thick, but in the video it looks like water, so will it be become thick consistency when it cooled down?
It does! Once it has fully cooled, it is a thicker, creamier texture.
Which essential oil can use for melasma cream making
Awesome ! ☺️

Can you use Germall plus?
Thank you
Your face is looking so rosie girl!
How do you know when it's fully emulsified? Do you get trace?
What should be temperature of water
We suggest heating the water to about 170° F at first.
hi. thanks for the tutorial. i couldn't catch preservative in your video. what you used for preservation? plz advice.
What I can’t found is the mesures
Is this for sale on the site?
If I want to add stearic acid in this recipe at what % would I add?
Do you do a ph test?
Yes, I've got the baby rose
So the liquid formula when poured into the jars and left to cool will turn into a creamy consistency?
That's correct!
This is very useful. How does one make a product (skin care/make up) for commercial use?

Before you put in the fragrance and preservative do you reset the scale to know how much you put in the container ?

Your final solution looks quite runny. Does it solidify or become semi solid after few hours of being in the jars? Thanks
Yes it does! I made this recipe multiple times, it cools to a very thick beautiful cream! For me, it take about an hour or an hour and a half for it to fully cool.
Hi just wanted to know if the body cream lasts all day or would i need to reapply at times during the day
Why are these instructions different than the ones you get in the kit?
What is rose extract?
That's what i want to know... Also do you have to use it...... I dont think they answer questions tho 🤔....
Google is free.
Rose extract is kind of like vanilla extract, it's a concentration of roses. They soak the rose petals in vodka I believe to get the extract.
@@candiibrace9099 You can definitely substitute things in the formulation. Just add more distilled water for the amount of extract she uses.
Plz someone tell me,,, which ingredient use ,,,
Can I use this as a makeup remover ?
I feel like butter and oils lose their nutrients if you put it in the microwave is there a better why to do it?
Double boiler method
I have a question, would a blend of shea butter, Jojoba oil, aloe leaf and essential oils need an emulsifier?
Water based liquids and oil based liquids usually need an emulsifier to become one and create a lovely consistency.
Love this video so much. Just wondering where you got your avocado butter from.
The avocado butter we used is the same one we sell on our website! You can find it here: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/butters/avocado-butter/V000538.html

Hi, you can find the preservatives we sell here: www.brambleberry.com/search?q=preservatives&search_type=Products
To learn more about using preservatives in your projects, you can read this article: www.brambleberry.com/articles/ingredient-information/art0029-preservatives-quick-guide.html
How can I buy your creams cos I can't get that in your link
Instead of avocado butter n squalene oil wat i can add.
I need help, putting pink mica in my body butter makes it stain my skin. What could be the cause?
Maybe you put too much pink mica in, start with a small pinch and mix it in. Maybe just 2% of the formula would work
I really enjoy the information. Thank you so much.
Question about the preservative: How long would the shelf life be for this body cream without the preservative? I'm considering making a small batch just for myself (not selling or giving to anyone) so if I use it pretty quickly, I wonder if I can get away with not using it. At my own risk, of course.
I think its normally 2 weeks for personal use.
I’m wondering if you keep it in the refrigerator if maybe it will last longer for you
I'd say two or three days. Invest in a reliable preservative, it's very important. Also, you should always measure the pH.
Hi, is the avocado butter unrefined? Thx. And can i skip the squalane oil?
I make this recipe all the time!! It's my favourite moisturiser I use jojoba oil instead of squalane cause I can't get my hands on squalane oil to be honest. It's the best moisturiser I ever made. So I think yes, you can substitute the squalane with something else like jojoba for example.

We don't have this recipe created in that amount, but you are welcome to calculate a smaller batch by dividing all the measured ingredients by a factor of four!
Is this cream thick enough to pipe?
Once it's cold I'd say it is. But it's quite liquidy when I make it to be honest, it takes a while for it to harden. or cool down
Where Can i buy distilled water?
Are your fragrances safe? Are they carcinogenic?
Very interesting
Why not mixing constantly?
