    I have no idea who saifya is but.. the soap Queen has been killing it for over 20 years and girl I love your book. Also the body butter recipe. This soap is everything! My favorite colors. Scent is amazing... Perfection

    Often when I use dried flowers on my soap (specifically dried roses) it turns slightly green around the flower. Any advice? Is this normal?

    What if one didn't want to use the lather quick mix? Would a plain soap base work as long as the oils weigh 33 oz.?

      Hi! These are the ingredients for the Lots of Lather Quick Mix: 33% Coconut Oil, 33% Palm Oil, 16% Canola Oil, 14.9% Olive Oil, 3% Castor Oil, and 0.1 % Vitamin E Oil.

      Lots of Lather Quick Mix Recipe
      33% Coconut Oil
      33% Palm Oil

      Thank you! It can be misted with isopropyl alcohol to help prevent soda ash.

      We haven't noticed that to be the case but you can absolutely choose not to use them if you are concerned.

      Yes, you can use rose water in place of distilled water when mixing your lye solution! But you still need the lye for your soap to work!

    This is so lovely. I usually use pigment powders to make my cp soap but tried mica for the first time last week. I used 1 tsp mica to 1 T oil. The color completely disappeared in my soap...it went back to ivory within seconds. So then I did a mica swirl on top and that, too, disappeared. How do you keep color in cp soap with mica powders?

    My first time ever making CP soap. And I bought this kit to get started as a Beginner. Question... As I was all done with pouring into my mold I went the direction again And notice I left out the Sodium LActate out of the LYE Water Mix, is that going to destroy my Soap??? please HElp

    hi, i m watching this channel. nmy melt and pour soaps are ot hard enough and get soggy if wet. do i need to add some additive to make it more hard please.
    what is diffeence between fragrance and essential oils. i m not using fragrance but only essential oil so my soaps are costly and there is very less fragrance left on body after bath.
    please advice remedy.
