not that difficult. depends on since when you play guitar. I could play it when i played guitar for 3 years. now i´m playing it very fluently, and without any problems, and im playing for 4 years. And im singing while playing.
If you´re a beginner, it will take about 1-3 months until you can play it. How much do you practise. I practise about 4 - 5 hours in a week. But until you can play it like john it will take 1/2 - 2 years.

Many of you don’t realize how hard this is to play on the guitar, very technical!
it's just about getting the rythm of the verse. you can play it pretty decent in a short ammount of time. perfecting it however takes some time.
there is a lot of small embellishments in it that take time to master. That's what makes it so fun to learn and play though!
