    Our basketball coach used to put some sort of bottom blinder type of eye holster. It reminds me of what they put on horses but instead of the blinders on the sides we had it at the bottom of the eyes so that we would be forced to look straight. He used to make us run up and down the court with them on while dribbling.

    Coach whenever I play 1v1 against someone, I can never get them to move, can u plz tell me what I could do better to make the defender move and create space or even make them fall???🤔🤔🤔

    • @davidfarmani8511
      @davidfarmani8511 7 років тому +13

      It's probably because especially against my brother they are never really in a proper defensive stance and they are lazy. I'm not coach but a tip is just be explosive so you can create space.

    • @ahmadnaufal6460
      @ahmadnaufal6460 7 років тому +4

      You have to shake and bake them, they won't move if they think they can't take the ball from you, they'll just try to prevent you from going to the paint or hit a jumper lol. Make them think they can steal it then cross them, that'll create space. I'm not a basketball coach but it does work for me lol

    • @LilSakei
      @LilSakei 6 років тому +1

      Don't do pointless dribble moves you need to get them to catch and start moving first

    • @jesuslovesandoy2406

      practice ur shooting, then if ur good at it they bite on fakes, explode

    • @MrOtis322
      @MrOtis322 4 роки тому

      Obaid a good tip is to be more explosive with dribbling. When ever I play against shorter players they often do insane handles but, completely stationary so it is useless. Personally every defender is different if they are more aggressive do more crossovers, if they are big guys just guarding you try to get them to slip up by being extremely explosive.

    I have bought Ball on a string, and two others and loving it.. something i would love sometime is to see you offer/breakdown some handles routines, kind of how u do freestyle tutorials, for those of us who are looking at performance aspects. Thanks bro!

    • @GetHandles
      @GetHandles  6 років тому

      Not sure I'm following you. You mean like a routine of different combo moves?

    • @BryTunesMusic
      @BryTunesMusic 6 років тому +1

      Thanks for responding. That's right - like a 10-20 second combo moves routine meant for a dribble moves contest versus getting to the hoop. For example, I am working out your "Snake Japanese/Dance Freestyle Combo Tutorial" and would be fun to see similar flashy "routines" breakdown on the dibbling side. Maybe it leads to a Show Dribbling package like your freestyle ones, that I know I would add to my growing programs list. Thanks Snake! You Rock!

    • @GetHandles
      @GetHandles  6 років тому +1

      Got ya, might do something like that in the future if there's enough interest from people! Was planning on doing something like that while ago actually but it doesn't typically get as much response. Might want to check a few of my streetball combos on UA-cam from about 1-3 years ago though. There's a few that are pretty long and flashy!

    • @BryTunesMusic
      @BryTunesMusic 6 років тому
