@@thehammerofwrath While the entire video was very helpful and informative, that sole fact was enough to subscribe. I will definitely look forward to more. As a side note... are robes really necessary for a Librarian? I'm not gonna lie, I work on a bash of Librarian in terminator armour currently and wanted to use no robes. I know I will likely need to add the cables from psychic hood. Cheers!
Hmmm. Don't think I've seen a librarian without them, but that doesn't mean you can't be the first. I considered going without for a long time because I was worried about my greenstuff skills.
@@thehammerofwrath I do intend on givin him a tabbard from Cataphracti Terminator kit, so he won't be completely naked in that regard. But yeah it does make me wonder sometimes if it's alright.
Can do! I'm working on an army showcase video for the near future. In the meantime, check out the blog thehammerofwrath.blogspot.com. You can find the build and final photos there.
Whoa I had no idea Don Quijote could have a Warhammer store in them!! I think Ive visited 6 or 7 different stores in my few visits to the country and unfortunately have not come across it. Then again I wasnt into Warhammer and the Miniature hobby at those times in my life so I guess doesnt matter but now I have to add that to the list of places to go next time Im in the country. Another similar store I like is Bic Camera and thats mainly because they have that option to ship stuff straight from the store to the states plus they have a great selection of model kits
This is AWESOME, I have an Old Metal Ezekiel that is ¿25 years old? There is only one missing thing, He has bionic left eye, It is one of his Story defining issue. I hope GW bring a New Ezekiel soon as They are going to do with Azrael.
Great Build! I'm curious about two things 😅 1. What do FLGSes in Japan look like? From my experience in Korea they're almost entirely absent but I'm curious if there's a more established presence in Japan. 2. Amazing job on that more restrained OSL. How do you determine what should be lit and what shouldn't?
1. I've mostly gone to the official GW stores here in Tokyo, but the few FLGS I have visited we mostly dominated by card players and some D&D campaigns. There is an expat group, Tokyo Tactical, that frequents a local FLGS, but I've yet to visit. 2. I just pick a few surfaces that face the source of the light directly, and keep it simple.
Very nice! I know it does not matter anymore but the robe is pointing the other way then the seals. Maybe not by wind, but movement? Yea definetly, makes more sense
I actually talk about that in my decal tutorial video. As it's spelled, it should certainly be dekal, and not DEE cal. But I learned it that way, so it stuck! :)
@@thehammerofwrath I've been printing custom ones for my Kill teams, but I have to wait until the weather warms up so I can varnish them before application as the decal paper says Print, Varnish 3 coats, and then apply per normal. I found your video thanks to the algorythm learning that I like Dark Angels (despite not presently having any, my previous Ravenwing army got sold to fund my Nintendo Switch when that launched) I see that it might not be so hard to do Robes now, and Maybe just maybe after I get my 6 current kill teams (Deathwatch, Compendium Chaos, Legiojnaries, Compendium Tau, Pathfinders, and Tyranids) all finished I might make a Dark Angels team.
I've got a converted Ravenwing Ancient that I want to print custom decals for, just haven't gotten around to it. A lot of folks are using the new BT kits to kitbash DA - definitely worth a look.
The Donki in Tachikawa has one on the 5th floor. It's a bit of a train ride for me, but whenever I feel like shopping and buying models, I make the trek on the JR line.
What an absolute gem of a channel! Cant wait to binge your vids and see what you have planned next
Oh, there's some crazy stuff in store...
Amazing conversion
This conversion is awesome and I love your style of presentation! You deserve 7000 subs, not just 700!
Aww, thanks! Hopefully one day! :)
Well, he got one more here
Tripled in three months, its on the up and up
Awesome conversion! Every upload from you is a short but sweet dive into my favorite hobby
Thanks! I'll keep them coming.
one of the best looking librarians ive ever seen
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
That is spectacular. As a kitbash enjoyer I absolutely love the segment that explained particular pieces that you used.
Thanks, it always drives me nuts when I see a good conversion and I can't tell where the pieces are from, so I made sure to detail everything.

@@GoodGuySatan Ultimately, if it looks good without the robes, there's no harm in that.
Glad I found you. Would like to see more of that Azrael.

I've only found the one Donki that has a WH store in it, and it's a ways outside the city center in Tachikawa.
Great job, my man! 👍🏻
Thanks!
Absolutely amazing work sir! 😁❤️👍🏼
Thanks, that's kind of you!
Nice production value, have a sub!
Thanks for the sub!

Yeah, I didn't have a head with a hood AND the bionic eye. Was going to paint one of the eyes red, like in implant, but it was so small!

took me a minute to realize what you were pointing out, but yes, an oversight on my part! :)
Ganghammer…. Assemble
Happy to be your 700 subscriber, you are doing an amazing work keep it up
That's awesome, the video really took off while I was sleeping! :)
With the new sternguard could be more easy to make a Primaris Ezekiel
No doubt!
The bash/conversion is great, but I prefer the original recipe Kantor blue (Like Crimson Fists) for the Librarian power armor.
I do wish the blue was a bit deeper.
Decal is one of those funny english words in that so many people say D Cal vs us in Canada would say Deck el

@@thehammerofwrath Yeah I saw someone do that and it looked pretty great. I thought I might do that if I did decide to make this team.
Nice! I recently got a ezekiel (metal) but unfortunately lost the sword.
You should be able to glue a plastic one on without much trouble.
Wait, which Donki has the warhammer store in it? If my local Donki carried warhammer, my wife would be upset every week.
The Donki in Tachikawa has one on the 5th floor. It's a bit of a train ride for me, but whenever I feel like shopping and buying models, I make the trek on the JR line.
Very nice conversion. Can you please tell me where you found the STLs for the tomes?
Thanks! the tome are found on cults 3D. Here's a link: cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/da-book
Very Nice! can i ask what flexible resin you used?
I use a mix of 90% Sarayatech fast grey, and 10% sarayatech tenacious.
Okay but where did you find those printable bits?
On cults 3D. The books are "DA Books" and searching "purity seals" nets several results from multiple artists.
@@thehammerofwrath thanks mate!

YES! we hit 700 while I was asleep!
