I absolutely love this kit. It was one of my favourites as a teenager. When I went back to the hobby in 2020 I thought it was a massive shame it had gone but I managed to find some from the Conquest magazine set that predates the Imperium magazine from one of your other videos. This video has inspired me to dig it out and paint it up

Those Greytide Studios additions just absolutely transform the army. Agreed that with the base Primaris pieces, the SM armies all kinda look same-same.

2:42 don't let the rule overruled your build, having fun to build miniature should be the first priorities

I would love someone to paint one of these like Iron Man's armor, in Boba Fett's colors, or like Tron's armor. Another option would be the Cobra color scheme from GI Joe. I don't do Warhammer at all, but I might buy some just to paint how I like.

looks great the only thing else i wanted to see is how would you do lighting bolts though you could just make a 50 50 of the imperial navy blue and mat white or at least until you get a bright nearly white blue

These are looking badass!! Iv always loved the Night Lords aesthetic and really wish GW would hurryand bring their legion back into the fold in the lore. I love that they gave them a Killteam kit at least. Now that this challenge is over I look forward to your next ventures whether that be more challenges or just working on your own personal armies. Also could join in on the Skaventide hype train since everyone basically has haha. I did enjoy your Leviathan box videos so I wonder if you would consider getting in to AoS with their launch box a doing the same. Also congrats on almost 3 quarters of 10k subs!! Pretty cool look. How long until the oil wash is fully dry? And your primer layer looks thicker than mine, does it stick and lay just fine?

How do you not have more subscribers and views? Your work is amazing! Now that you've done all the combat patrols, have you considered doing something similar with Vanguards or Spearheads for AoS since 4th edition is right around the corner?

How's the gaming scene in general in JP? I know in Tokyo it's decent, I've been to the Akihabara GW store a few times. I'll be moving over in a few years, but I only play ToW, Horus Heresy, and Mordheim. I'd also likely be in Tohoku or Sapporo.

Your airbrush priming comes out much better than mine, what PSI do you use?

I've personally found that with possessed, it is worth it just airbrush the skin. You can do a base skin tone, lighter zenithal and then spray from the bottom with a darker color or even your shade of choice. Then just some simple highlights and then paint the armor with a brush. Makes the skin parts much easier and the blending looks smoother.

This is the most criminally underrated channel on UA-cam.

Really nice paintjob! A worthy ending 12 month CP. I bought myself the content from the Mega and Most Wanted Set as individual bottles + 4 or 5 colours which I liked and this assortment left almost no wishes open about colour selection for me. Since I own them, I did not used my 90+ Citadel Paints 🙈 (I speared out the Washes, Metallics ans effects. Cuz I already owned the Washes & Metallics from the old range and they were pretty good back then and for Acrylic-effects my go to are still Citadel).

Have you considered building each one their own display board base? (I’m just imagining now twelve 1x1 foot display boards for each combat patrol displayed upon!)? on my night lords, I prime with colour forge tempest blue and then wash with drakenhoff nightshade, it gets a really night midnight blue to near black in the recesses

Looks awesome! I spray my models with the metallic trim color as the base coat first, then fill in the panels. It's less agonizing than picking out the trim IMO

really nice work , I have the army set as was going to make them all MPs, blue cloth , Green armour and red helmets ( uk MPs were red berets) but this has persuaded me to go back to the original Scheme.

I disagree with the premises that they dropped the ball. It's marketing. They will release all this in time. People forget that the vast range of "flavor" the space marine range had was built up over years even decades of expansion. It wasn't all dropped on day one. If they did drop it all at once they couldn't built and expand, therefore milking that cash cow over the next 20-30years as they did the last.

Do you spray another coat of varnish after the oil wash or do you leave it as is? (I have no experience combing oil and acrylic)
