Always enjoyable to see Hellblaster conversions since they have so much that can be added. My own have parts from 3 types of Phobos kits, Intercessor/Assault kits, BT Crusaders, Deathwatch Upgrades, Sternguard, Sword Brethren, and even Desolators.
That's wicked. Personal preference; subtle is best for standard boi-ohs, so I think those studs on the shinguards are perfect. I cannot express how good I think the Mk.7 heads look on the new Marines. The concept of making the sergeant be a SternVet and the tactical use of BT bits for it is **chef's kiss** Love your work, always stoked when a new vid drops!
Ok, it is one of those rare instances whjere I can give advice instead of just taking it. At 5:10 the overpsill coul be avoided if it was applied with a paperclip. Paperclip cannot hold a lot of glue and so it provides a very controlled method of dealing with the bloody glue. It should have also save you time on scraping away the overspillage. Cheers!
Looks great as always 👍 and by the way the cadian shock troops come with a few rank decals that almost no one uses. Since you like giving your squads a second in command you could ask a guard player if they have any spare (if you know one)
Turned out fantastic! Really making me want to build some, despite my fear of OSL. I also really enjoy hearing the story of your chapter, and how it informs your decision-making while kitbashing. Incidentally, the rivets were a nice touch. I've been using plasticard tubing to do the same with my marines - though I've been less standardized; a chestplate here, legs here, a shoulderpad there, or some combination, as my renegades try to keep their armor functional.
Thanks brother! And yes OSL can be quite spooky, I tried it with these marines for the first time ever but it’s not too noticeable Your renegades seem like they’re quite groovy!
@@ConversionBeam Thanks! It's been a slow work in progress as I build up more parts lol. Some Mark III helmets here, some Old Marine bits there, plenty of battered and bolted armor, and a preponderance of shaven aquilas xD Not sure they quite hit the "renegade" feel yet, but it'll get there! In the meantime, your channel continues to provide plenty of inspiration!
Great conversions! I've been thinking about ways to do 'techpriest candidates/junior techpriests' and the sergeant you made here was fantastic, I'm definitely going to attempt something like that myself for my Desolator Squad/'Techmarine with Missile Servitors' squad! That arm is 100% from the Coms Array guy in the infiltrator kit.
I really liked the use of the first born devastator helm, if you had had enough that could have been a cool detail for the rank and file members of the squad. Also more robot arms and legs is always great for plasma weapon marines.

My new microphone really did not like the letter 'P', I will try to sort this out before my next video fellas :)
Set the Mic perpendicular to your mouth instead of right in front of it. Or get a pop filter. Either or will help fix the problem.
Question? What chapter is this? Homebrew? If so I gotta say they look very neat.

The return of the king
Oh my ❤️
These came amazing!
thanks to the mighty AL I found you.
Sergeant is dope af
I wish I had the will to kitbash and whats your chapters name. I randomly found your channel.
What's your paint recipe/technique for the tan parts on your marines?
Ever changing, I’m afraid. This one was Vampire Fang, washed with sepia, highlighted with pallid witch flesh
I love you conversions and I always wanted to know what hobby knife you use?
"You don't have a girlfriend." lmao
Those are so damn cool
Also re: the bonding studs on the legs. I think they're fine and kinda remind me of the devastator marines
I think you’re so damn cool!
Merci pour la vidéo
Audio was a bit too loud at the end too early. But. Awesome conversion and awesome video quality. 9/10
I noticed far too late, but I’m glad you enjoyed :)
