I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

In my opinion Paul is the total package. Great singer and a very good guitarist who can totally control an audience. Anybody who’s seen KISS can attest to that. The Unplugged album is so very good and Paul is in his prime here. This version of KISS was also their best as far as musicianship goes. I love Bruce Kulick on lead guitar.

We see all these negative You Tube Clips now of Paul Stanley singing at 65 years old and people are knocking him...Just have a good listen to the Power / Strength / Emotion and Control in this song...He has sung his guts out for the last 45 years and he is definitely one of my Heroes...Thank You Paul...You are Absolutely Amazing :)
Those people are nobody losers. He's been killing it for decades.
I think there is a fine line between being honest about his vocal situation (it's sadly very bad) and knocking him. I think he's given all he possibly can and that's a reason to be respectful, not the opposite, but I agree with their decision to farewell-tour at this point.

@@Gamevet One of the best in rock by far, very underrated in his prime years. Strangely though I'm not that sad. I mean, a case like Brian Wilson who wrecked his voice in about a decade by smoking and drugs, that's sad. Paul was on top for like 35 years and his only downfall is age? I'm just in awe.
@@AJB3 What's really sad, is that the media didn't recognize his talent as a front man, because they'd always thought of Kiss as a gimmick band. They were sadly mistaken.

You must consider the man has only 1 ear. Mr Stanley is defined as a true rock star, his presence is powerful in a live setting.

That's Paul Stanley. One of the most powerful voices in Metal history. He also appeared in a long run production of the Phantom of the Opera. He said that it was one of the hardest things he's ever done.

He's still got it probably one of a handful of singer from that time that haven't lost there range.
@@metalman75 You're joking metalman. Paul was one of the great hard rock singers of the 70's and 80's but he's been a shadow of his former self for a decade or more. So sad to see him go out needing to mime to backing tracks.

Paul Stanley even played the lead for Phantom of the Opera in Toronto a few years ago.
The acting bit is where he struggled. The singing not so much.

This was the peak of Paul's vocals. He showed of all of his skill in this song and its so powerful and I Still Love You is also just a beautiful song in general
Paul Stanley was an underrated beast of a vocalist! Age has caught up with him, he is not the same now...but geesh, I guess 50 friggin’ years is a pretty good run for a heavy rock front man! Not many who could do what he did for as long as he did it!
This show was amazing in its entirety. I had waited for the make up to come off and this was exactly why. One of my favorite KISS songs ever.
Whatever you may think of Kiss, I believe Paul's voice has been an underappreciated instrument over the years. Thanks for doing this. I never saw this unplugged performance, now I think I may check it out.

paul Stanley had unusual power and technique When other singers try to cover KISS material you realize how good Paul was.
When you concider he was half deaf without a full formed ear on one side, he did okay.

He had surgery on his ears a few years ago. It was a big deal about how he would sing hearing everything
@deeprest evol He got an implant, but removed it. Too strange to him to adapt to when he was used to "hear in mono" all his life.
This is one of my favorite versions of one of my favorite songs that Paul Stanley has ever sung or written. BTW, you clipped the part where Gene SImmons pointed to the fact that ot was Paul Stanley singing. LOL Thank you for doing this reaction. I'm 47 and from the time i was 7 years old i've been a kiss fan. We went on visit to my mom's sister and my nephew came storming down the stairs. René you gotta listen to this! And he put on i was made for loving you on his record player! From that day i was hooked on KISS.
Sadly i'm going to Amsterdam in 21 days to see them for the very last time.
But it's time. Paul's voice can't cut it anymore i'm sorry to say. But he's the best showman you will ever see. And i'm proud to be a fan for all these years!
Saw them in last year, in one of the last shows and still sounded absolutely amazing, I have loved kiss since hearing there tracks when I was little in the 90's and was an absolute bucket list tick to see them perform before they called it quits for the last time.

Paul played the Phantom in the Phantom Of The Opera at Pantages theatre in Toronto. Had a six month contract that got extended to a year because it was so successful.
Love his voice. My favorite band and my favorite singer in Rock! Paul Stanley.

Rebecca, I've been a KISS fan for many years and Paul Stanley is a very talented vocalist and musician. His vocal talent landed him the role of the Phantom in the Toronto production of The Phantom of the Opera. From May 25th through August 1st 1999. As fan, I was truly impressed with his performance. I've have seen KISS in concert, 31 time's in my lifetime, and have heard him sing as well as other members of the band. Paul has another group that he sings with called Soul Station. You may want to check it out. Thank You for sharing this song and your feedback on it.

Paul Stanley was so underrated. He was powerful and emotional
I was introduced to them in the late 70's (yes, I'm that fuckin' old) and they never disappointed me. Crazy albums, crazy performances and serious skills from them. Never had the chance to see them in concert, but everyone says that their concerts are one of a kind, and blows everything else out of the sky.
Dude that is so true, I went to a concert of them a little while ago, in the ziggo dome in the Netherlands, and it was absolutely crazy dude, I really wish you could see them live some time, because the shows are just incredible man
Oh lord what an amazing passionate voice Paul brings forth in this song. I heard he had written it after a terrible break up and was going to be singing directly to her. I don’t know how true this rumor is but with the strength and passion behind the performance I tend to believe it and I want to cry every time I watch this because I feel his pain. He is definitely underrated when it comes to a lead man in the Rock Band category and IMO only Steve Perry was better when Paul Stanley was at his best because he could hit those notes with absolutely no problem. Your reaction was priceless and I truly enjoyed it ❤️ especially when you got caught up in it and said “We We” I totally understand and I lost it 😂❤️ I fell in love with Paul as a young girl the first time I saw him in 1976 and I still follow him on Twitter today. He’s an amazing human being and still on the road bringing joy to the Kiss army. ❤️

I saw him in Phantom of the Opera in Toronto many years ago. His power and ability to control his voice was great. He's certainly not Michael Crawford, but he did a great job

Whenever someone tells me Paul Stanley wasn't the greatest of all time... I tell them to listen to KISS MTV Unplugged and then I invite them to show me something better
No one is the greatest all time. It’s all based on personal opinion and taste. Many say Bon Scott has the best rocker voice along with Dio. But hey, it’s just opinion 🤷🏼♂️

Gene has never claimed to be a singer. But has learned to “talk loud” in a way that works for him.
Gene is an underrated singer. His harmonies are excellent.

One of the most underrated voices in rock history. Paul takes alot of abuse singing now but back in his day no could touch him vocally. Look at "I want You" off of Alive II it is jaw dropping

Fantastic vocals by Paul Stanley.
This song became my theme song when my wife of 15 years left me for another guy. I was crushed and this Unplugged classic, spoke the words I couldn’t express back then. Thanks Paul Stanley for that song and hitting it out of the ballpark! To this day, that song remains a staple on my playlist.
