The Unplugged album is so very good and Paul is in his prime here. This version of KISS was also their best as far as musicianship goes. I love Bruce Kulick on lead guitar.

@@toddedwards5144 friend, there are a bunch of videos floating on youtube of Kiss performing, that show do not touch their guitar strings and the drumer's hands seem out of sync with the drumming audio
I just have to remind everyone that the videos that look like lip sinking or air guitar are simply out of sync! I have seen them live 3 times so far on the End of the Road Tour and it is 100% all them live. Including Paul`s badly aging voice. P.S. Fonz, you are a pathetic troll. Get a life outside of the internet!
One of the most underrated voices in rock history. Paul takes alot of abuse singing now but back in his day no could touch him vocally. Look at "I want You" off of Alive II it is jaw dropping
This was the peak of Paul's vocals. He showed of all of his skill in this song and its so powerful and I Still Love You is also just a beautiful song in general
This is my all time favorite song to sing by kiss, I just recently learned all the parts on guitar. Trying to mesh the two together is a lot of work indeed. I've been a fan since I was 5. Paul is my favorite in the band because of his style in writing. He has another that my bamily sings. Everytime I look at you. They got married to that song. 17 years and 4 kids later, they still love each other like the day they met. I still love you really hits home because I had heartache like never before. So when my band played this version after rehearsal, I stepped up to the mic and released my pain through this song. And now, years later, they still wanna feel that pain, so I dig deep and deliver it. Pretty powerful when you can make your bamily members tear up. Bamily: when you're in a band that feels more like a family.
Paul really killed it on KISS Unplugged, arguably the best of all the unplugged sessions. Maybe throw in AIC with it as well. I would say Paul was never trained on how to sing, over the years he has really damaged his voice quite a bit. And also, Bruce was incredible on all these tracks!
@@digimortalone2759 ooohhh did not know they had one. Can't wait to check it out! Thanks! I saw the singer of Queensryches new band open for Ace Frehley a few years back, I think there is video on my channel. Off the top of my head I think they are called Operation Mindcrime? They were awesome!!!
Before I watched this video I saw in the description her saying it's not Gene Simmons and I immediately thought how Paul Stanley was probably bothered by that because he comes off so insecure in his books and interviews. His ego can't take it.
@@olgap1440 I guess you just don't see it in all his recent interviews and books but he is taking credit for all the achievements of Kiss and blaming others for the low points. He recently talked about how upset he gets when people think of Gene Simmons as the face of Kiss. These are signs of being insecure, look how upset he is at Eddie Trunk and demands the other band members don't speak to him, lol.
@@olgap1440 Also in recent years Paul Stanley & Gene Simmons have been very vocal about how they don't lip sync and that it's a rip off especially if bands don't let their audience know, yet, here Paul is out on his 'Farewell" tour using back tracks, ..this guy will say whatever and then justify it later in some lame way or blame it on others.
This is my favorite vocal performance of all time. I've met Paul Stanley twice in my life and he is a very nice guy. I also just sent this video to the guitar player of KISS in this video Bruce Kulick, I think he will really enjoy this.
This was unmasked KISS at the top of their game. Revenge was the return of Gene and the band was tight. The whole MTV performance was insane and the uncut version was just great with the extra takes etc. Sadly the music world had moved on and just kept looking at 80s KISS and the band at this time did not get the credit for how awesome they finally were. They chased the dollars and the rest is sadly history. COS was very good in its own right however it would have been interesting musically if they never reformed - to see where they would have gone. Attempts to recapture the 70s style fell so short with PC and beyond . KISS’s finest unmasked hour and Bruce’s magnificent display of his craft. So glad they did this.

I wish Kiss got credit for being great musician and song writers. Paul has a great voice, he did Phantom of the Opera for gods sake! The man can sing.
This was the peak of Paul's vocals. He showed of all of his skill in this song and its so powerful and I Still Love You is also just a beautiful song in general
Reason too live in my opion his best vocal performance ever
I would argue that Queensryches unplugged session was a contender. 🤘
@@bibby42 it is amazing. Geoff Tate is on point. As is DeGarmo and Wilton(guitars). I love Ace. Always my favourite KISS member wile growing up.
not bad but nothing touches Pearl Jam and I was more of a kiss fan than pearl jam til I heard their live unplugged simply amazing
This is a close second to AIC
Well Paul Stanley just commented on this video from his Twitter account....so you have officially made it big
Before I watched this video I saw in the description her saying it's not Gene Simmons and I immediately thought how Paul Stanley was probably bothered by that because he comes off so insecure in his books and interviews. His ego can't take it.
What did Paul say about this video
@@OD138 Well I don't think that Paul Stanley is in any way insecure!
The mighty Paul Stanley!....thanks for doing this video.
Doing this kind of singing at this high level and at same time you're playing the guitar too is unbelieveble !!!!!
This is my favorite vocal performance of all time. I've met Paul Stanley twice in my life and he is a very nice guy. I also just sent this video to the guitar player of KISS in this video Bruce Kulick, I think he will really enjoy this.
Bruce is a great guy.
