    Hi I have a doubt. Don’t we have to use emulsifying wax if we use water based ingredients and add oil or butters in it?

    • @thevision127media

      Honestly I forgot how much carrier oils I put it. But I’m assuming it was around 1-5% extra or you can adjust the whole recipe to accompany for the 5% oil. If that makes sense

    Quick question: Is the preservative optional since its soap? Doesn't the water evaporate out like all other soaps?

    • @thevision127media
      @thevision127media  3 роки тому +3

      _.tlf._ Hi, the preservative is not optional because water is directly included into the formulation. Since were using surfactants the process is different in compared to making real soap which is usually made with lye. Plus it’s always safer to add a preservative to a recipe with water in it.

    Hi! I live in India and the temp here is 40-47° Celcius in summer. Will the whipped peaks stay in its form in this heat? Or will it melt and coagulate? Is there a way to keep its form even in extreme climates?

    • @thevision127media
      @thevision127media  2 роки тому

      Yes it will lose its whipped form overtime.

    • @thevision127media

      Queen Precious you can whip it as long as it’s solid and if you want to use a little you just weigh it out for your scrub. That’s what I do with my new products

    Hi! So I made this and your recipe was awesome, but upon settling (after coloring with mica) I noticed there are little white granules in the soap. I poked at them because I thought they were stearic acid but they have no texture. Did I cook this too long or what might I have done wrong?

    • @Unfiltered_from_The_Bronx
      @Unfiltered_from_The_Bronx 2 роки тому +1

      You didn't dislove the stearic acid enough. Even when you think it's fully disloved.. heat it more! Stearic acid is tricky.

    Its written in the recipe tht the Slsa can be replaced bt SCI. Did u ever tried it with SCI? And can u pur it in the microwave too for melting all?

    • @thevision127media
      @thevision127media  4 роки тому

      I’ve never used SCI only bc it’s less accessible to find with quick shipping. I bought the Slsa on Amazon but SCI isn’t there. And you can put it in the microwave but you would have to be making a very small batch so that you’re not watching the microwave for so long, because you have to do it in burst. I hope that helps ☺️
