I love your Chanel thank you for sharing is it possible you’d consider doing a video on sanitizing/drying and storing large, quantities of jars before use thank you again
Good afternoon! Great recipe, I think I'd also put a tad bit more butter/oil for a creamier outcome but it's a beautiful product!! Saw where you said you had rounded up on the SCI, I'll take that into consideration too. This looks good enough to eat! LOL ; ) New subbie here...Yay!! Have a great day. Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xo : )
Thank you so much for doing this video. I have this on my list of things to try and have the ingredients, just not done yet.....so glad to know it is a good recipe and passes the Southern Skye test! Thanks again!!!
Could you add your extra oils and butters into the original mix so you only have to add the sent and color you want when making your different products later on?
You could technically yes, but this is not my preference bc you’d have to whip the base to incorporate the extra butters. When you’re ready to add scent and colors, you will have to whip it again and it may get over whipped and deflate.
Absolutely love this. Thank u so much I have watched many many videos and urs is the best yet. I cant wait to try this. I do have one question. If you make this from scratch like this and selk it willyou still make money to cover the cost. If so what do you recommend i sell it for?
Thank u so much for sharing this ive been wanting to make my own bath whip from scratch and now Im definitely going to try this recipe!! Im so excited and so ready to start saving that extra$ too 😆. Great video sug as always!
Hi there! SLSA is much more expensive (at least the last time I purchased it) and wouldn’t be as cost effective to make. I’ve never done a one for one switch but I don’t see why not. I’d def test your own results if you decide to give it a go and keep us posted!
@@southernskyebeauty6567 Awesome thanks so much for answering and the reason I ask is that I actually have quite a bit of slsa on hand which yes is quite expensive but I wanted to use it up before I went and bought SCI. So, again thank you so much for the information.
Hi! I have a question I would love help with. The bath bomb press from bath bomb solutions you had in previous videos. I need some more molds and don’t know how to find them! I know they aren’t in business anymore but any compatible molds I can use would be amazing! Did you sell yours? Thank you so much, Sabrina ❤️👊🙏
I did sell that press. I now exclusively use the Electra Press for its compact size and it’s electric, so there’s no need for a bulky loud air compressor. I don’t know if any compatible molds though. Sorry
How big of a bag would I have to buy in order to get the 720grams of SCI powder. I only bought 16oz so how many pounds do I have to buy to add 720grams
Hi, this is really good video. Thank you so much for uploading ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Clear my all doubts about whipped soap making process. I have one question, So we have to add little more oil to get more smooth consistency of whipped soap?
@@southernskyebeauty6567 please if you don't mind my asking. Does this recipe get to melt, like when shipping it ? Am asking because the last recipe I tried get melted after one weeks of storing it
@@valentinachinonyerem595 no it shouldn’t melt. If anything, it will deflate in warmer weather and lose its airy, whipped consistency. Try to not over-whip if you can. I love using the paddle attachment on my kitchenaid opposed to the whipping thing. Hope this helps!
I noticed in the description you stated that you rounded the sci but it didn't give you the smoothness that you wanted. Does that mean less sci will make it smoother?
I haven’t tried that personally but I would def test it for sure! Probably take a bit longer to dissolve but I don’t see why not. Keep us posted of you do it!
Hi, awesome video. Thank you for sharing. Been following your IG page since 2019. Can you recommend the % or grms of cocoa butter used in your recipe? Thank you beauty.
This is going to be a total personal preference but just remember that too much oil will prevent or “kill” the bubbles. I happened to use 1 oz of cocoa butter in the video

gorgeous and thank you for the super video!

Great video and thank you for sharing. What can be added to make it a little more creamier, but still thick? Thank You from Florida 🌞 🌹
You made it look so easy!!!
It was super easy!
I absolutely love your video of this. I'm gonna make your recipe today. Looks amazing

Hello, great video, and thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe. I do have one question, could I sub slsa powder for the sci powder? Thanks

@@lhscentedsoapsandmore i would def make a test batch first as it may alter the final consistency
Can I do it without culinox salt pls?
What company did you buy this fragrance oil from? I can't find a fruity loop fragrance oil that actually smells like it anywhere.
Fun! Thank you!
Hey, Thank you for the recipe. I want to make a small batch, can you share the percentage of your recipe, please?
Would SLSA stand in the place of SCI?
Ive never done a 1:1 switch but it would certainly raise your costs to do that bc SLSA is usually much, much more expensive
Loved this!
Thank ya!
I forgot to add the preserve 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ can I just add it in when I whip it up and add my butters and oils?
How much cocoa butter did you add at the end with your fragrance? Thanks for the video!!
Adding it is completely optional so you can add as much or as little as you like! No wrong answer ☺️

Hello mam is this a 2kg batch??
And can we use disodium EDTA???
How big of a bag would I have to buy in order to get the 720grams of SCI powder. I only bought 16oz so how many pounds do I have to buy to add 720grams
720g is just over 25 ounces. 2 lbs should do it with some leftover
Thanks you
Could you sub out some of the water with coffee + add some sugar and coffee grounds?
Don’t see why not! Test is out and see how it holds up over time

How can you double or even triple the measurement to make a larger batch than the measurements in the video? Do you have easy technique to go by.
Multiply every amount by 3 for triple batch.
I noticed in the description you stated that you rounded the sci but it didn't give you the smoothness that you wanted. Does that mean less sci will make it smoother?
I think so, i think less surfactant and more liquid in the water phase (distilled water and glycerin) would make it smoother
Would a little more coca betaine help?
Where does one find culinox salt? Or is there another name for it 😂 I can't find it anywhere
I tried looking, but she said she didn't even use it and by the looks of how her batch turned out I'd say you don't need it.
Can I use Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate noodles instead of the powder?
Yes but it will take longer to melt I heard
