You can access the cameras on a laptop, but i have not tried them as inputs to OBS studio
Hi is there a cap on the number of ip cameras that can be added to this vms?
Hello, the maximum number of cameras/encoders for a VMS is 128.
Thanks so much for watching this video.
I am big fan of you.
Thanks very, am grateful

how to setup the IPs ? Can you do the same video for BOSCH cctv camera ?
Hello,
I will consider your request please.
can i do direct router to make it work? or i need switch to do it?
The switch supplies power to the cameras, so if you have another means of supplying power to the cameras without using a POE switch, then you can do without the switch. One way that you can do it is to use a separate power supply unit that can power up the cameras and then connect the cameras directly to the router. I will try and do a video on it. Look out for it.
We have to keep our PC turned on for recording if we don't use NVR right ?
Yes, you have to.
In this setup you don't need an internet connection, since you connect the ethernet cable directly to the network port in the computer and not to a router, right?
Some brands of CCTV Cameras require Internet, others don't require Internet. it all depends on the brand of camera you are using. In this particular settup, i have connected internet to the switch.
@@Tech_Inside_Out Okay. thank you for the clarification.
@@punchipoint8457 Am delighted when I receive questions from viewers. Thanks so much
@@Tech_Inside_Outhow do i view the IP camera on my pc?

How will you get internet, the LAN port is connected to the POE
A network switch shares resources of devices connected to it, so if you connect internet to any port on the switch, that internet will be shared with all devices connected to the switch and vice versa
Please let me know if i have answered your question.
Hi,Sir please can you make tutorials for recording settings and time Zone
Am planning a video that will cover all the various settings on a DVR and also for NVR
@@Tech_Inside_Out thank You Sir, because I have problems with this jovison nvr, when ever I do the installation.🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@kofidenyo3434 Well noted
But please, can you add any other I.p camera to the jovison nvr
@@kofidenyo3434 If the cameras are Onvif compliant and you can change their User Name and password to conform to the Default values required by Jovision NVR, that will be possible. If not it won't be possible.
Even with Jovision IP cameras, if you change their user name name and password without configuring the NVR, it won't work.
sir, is it possible to use as webcam?
There are many dynamics around the connection of the camera to the NVR. The cameras have specific passwords that the software checks and if it agrees to the software, then it connects. In the case of the webcam, if it is possible to change the webcam password to correspond to the software, it will connect.
do I need a router on this setup?
Yes
Hi, please when ever I try connecting It to My P.C remotely it doesn't work
This particular video is about connection to the same local area network. For connection regarding remote view on pc, you can add the cameras by cloud using the cloud ID of the cameras as their unique identity. I can assist you, please send me an email to script.engineeringconsult@gmail.com
After connecting the camera with the vms how can I execute streaming in internet?
If you are familiar with rstp, you can use the rstp address of the camera for the streaming
OK but in this case does I need an NVR?
@giorgiomonti9007 You may or may not depending on you
What is the use of fiber cable in the camera system
For which connection please?
@@Tech_Inside_Out IP CAMERA connections please
@@user-hy4eb7om6b I will try and cover it in later videos
Bro, does this consume internet data 24/7 while recording 24/7 , or is this setup works without internet on pc,
Every CCTV camera manufacturer designs his VMS uniquely in a way that you will find some manufacturers giving you soft NVR that does not require internet to access the cameras on a network. So you may have to find out such details if you wish to view and record your cameras on a network.
@@Tech_Inside_Out So can apply the same settings N.V.R
What about hikvision
@@kofidenyo3434 They are similar so that knowledge of one can be some how applied to the other. You will not go through exactly the same steps but similar
@@raubhai515 Also Similar, but I will try and see if I can create videos on hikvision as well. I think that will bring out the similarities clearer.
In this video I guess the ip camera is non poe and connected to the poe switch. Without an additional 12v adapter.
No, the cameras are POE IP Cameras.
@@Tech_Inside_Out so I can connect an ip nonpoe cam same way with a poe switch and it'll work perfectly ?
