Thanks for sharing, very helpful. I noticed you didn't connect to internet, my question is, could all these be achieved with connecting to internet?. Thanks.
Hello, you could do without the Internet and that means that you would not access it on your phone or computer. Thank you so much , for this upload , i hadn’t a clue how this system works , as I have a older system where cam leads go straight to DVR via bnc connection, one thing I’m going to use whole sale Ethernet cable with clamper etc so could you please tell which way to wire up in colour order please

wifi cameras are mostly IP cameras and so they can't be connected to a DVR. They may be connected to an NVR provided they have an auto negotiation ethernet port

hi, thank you very much for the video, but I have a question please : Is it possible to use IP camera with an old dvr system ( coax cable) , is there special connection or I have to change all the cables
Thanks for the feedback. I will try and do a tutorial on the VGA and HDMI connections. You can find more of my videos at www.youtube.com/@tech_inside_out
in your other videos you talked about the cameras having power supply port, does the CAT 6 cover all these aspect. And so you need to connect to it power port what .please educate me on that .
Hi ,is it possible we connect somehow, your knowledge and have great skill.im part of a neighborhood watch and we sponsored with some camera's. Could you help us please.
Thanks for your question. A POE switch is enough to power up the POE IP camera. The power port is used whenever you use a non POE switch in your installation in which case you will need a separate power supply unit to power up your cameras. By so doing, you will have to use the provided power port. But this process means that you will be running two cables for one camera when indeed you could use one cable and achieve thesame result.
Sir, I want u to understand me very well, I have install the iP cameras and poe switch and don't have laptop to configure it, can one configure it without laptop.
You do not need any switch configurations. I used a non manageable switch. For remote view, you can watch this two videos i created. ua-cam.com/video/DEp-0E1IeTU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/C58y2Swe7-Y/v-deo.html
Could i because I only need one camera, connect a cat 6 ethernet cable form my lan port on my modem/router straight to my ethernet port on my security camera ? Thank you.
Yes, that is possible but then because the modem does not have Power Over Ethernet (POE), you would need a POE injector to power up the camera and then connect the lan cable from the camera to the modem. Please let me know if I have addressed your question to your understanding.
You can do separate power supplies for the cameras, but in my case am using a Power over Ethernet (POE) switch and so it is just economical to both use it as both a means of power and video data management
In a case where you have a non POE switch, you may have to use an alternative power supply which could be for individual cameras or many cameras using one
How can you connect traditional cameras with rca connection to cat6 cables?Could this help eliminate video loss and other network issues?where do you purchase your camera supplies?
Hello, please i don't quite understand the question. Are you talking about how the various divisions of the different cameras came about? An interested in answering this question, please clarify for me to answer.
Cat 6 cable cannot be joined but you can develop techniques to get it go beyond the 100m ideal limit. You can use means such us providing a repeater at various points, ect.

Thanks 4 yr video. What is the cat6 cryping method for IP cameras.
You can use either a straight through or cross over cable. Both works perfectly.
very nice and calming, however how do you determine the Watt version to buy ? example (53W vs 123W)
Thanks for the compliment. Please I will need more clarity on your question of 53watts vs 123 Watts. Do you mean the power rating for the POE Switch?

Hello, Yes it can be used.
hi, thank you very much for the video, but I have a question please : Is it possible to use IP camera with an old dvr system ( coax cable) , is there special connection or I have to change all the cables
The anwer is that IP cameras are connected using Cat 6 and can only be received by an NVR. so if you intend to use IP cameras, you will need an NVR.

Good evening, what if u don't want to use laptop can u still configure it
Yes, you still program it without a pc
Does the IP camera POE camera? Since the switch is POE, otherwise you need to use POE spliter on the camera side, to power the IP camera
The Cameras are POE cameras, hence their ability to turn on when connected directly to the switch.
Poe switch is enough to power the network camera?
What is the use of power port given in camera then
Thanks for your question.
