Good one. You must be getting a few Caddy drivers wanting sound deadening stuff. The noise is terrible. I've nearly finished my Caddy. My knees took a workout today doing the roof? But I can tell it will be worth it when I finish. Thanks Brenden
Good vid. Exactly what I was looking for. Have bought sound deadening and insulation for my caddy. Is it worth while doing the floors and roof also? I'm looking to get the floor ply lined and carpeted afterwards.
Thanks Ken. The ribbed floor is not as essential with sound. You may want a product to use for insulation under the flooring (Van Seal, Van Liner, Mass Noise Liner). You do get results too by doing the roof (stage 1 Sound Deadener and Stage 2 Insul Layer as insulation, decoupling layer). It's just how far you want to go. 👍
@@carbuilders1 thete is a loud crscking noise in my caddy which wakes me usually early morn , can insulation stop the vans contracting and expanding noises,
@@carbuilders1 I'm looking at getting one of these as a work vehicle. Caddy Maxi 2019, so no glass in the sliding doors. ROUGHLY what would you charge for the install?
Thank you Alex. No, it is a very difficult thing to complete a controlled, standardize test and we don't want to be misleading. In other vehicles we have tested we have had results anywhere from 4db to just over 10db (remembering an increase of 3dB doubles the sound intensity and a 10dB increase is perceived to be twice as loud) 👍
I had my Caddy done yesterday, What a difference. So happy!!!

😆Yes, we have found there has been an increase in Caddy guys. Good luck with the rest of the install 👍

Hi BikeStuff. Did you want it installed or DIY?
@@carbuilders1 i would DIY.
@@carbuilders1 HI - if you are still fielding inquiries, I'd be interested to get a cost for installed please.
Looks great. Did you happen to take any before and after dB readings?

@@carbuilders1 In this vid you mentioned the carpet is Mid Grey but I see you only sell light or dark?
That must be night and day, the difference in reverberation in that car.
