I can't still appreciate everyone of you enough for the unconditional love and massive supports ❤️ it's because of you am here today. I hope you won't stop listening and supporting my songs.
Thanks once more and remember to stay safe ❤️
There was a time where I got fed up by listening to Phil Collins, as he was on every station and the music got quite simple radio stuff. But after some years have past I am starting to appreciate what he has done and the great music which will live on forever. Mr Collins, thank you!
He even admitted to contributing to it during his 90s reign and kind of apologized. 😅
I was there Live Aid in England ❤️
Same concert, same song, same day, two different locations... incredible.
I enjoyed seeing the young children on their parents shoulders enjoying your exquisite performance as all ages do. Your style or voice never gets old. Keep up the great work Phil.
Class of 84, went to many concerts. 80s music definitely the best. We also had the best hair and was amazingly dressed.
Can’t get over how incredible his live performances are ❤
As a music and an aviation enthusiast, him singing this, and me realizing he flew on a concord from his words was just...amazing. Gave me so many things to think about. Even though I wasn't even born then, I'm thankful these videos exist.
I’m watching it in 2020 who’s by my side.
Oh me! Nantasket beach Massachusetts Love this version. Hold on
Yes! I’m watching this in 2020 and loving it!! Phil is one of the best! Such a powerful performance!
me! im having a live aid marathon lol
Ok
You should see him in his 2019 concert. Its heartbreaking
He even made this song awesome without the drums. Not too shabby ❤️
👑👑👏👏👊 who else was playing air drums?! Legend the only King in history to play in both countries on the same day for the same cause! Love him! 💖💖 Definitely dedication at its finest!! On same stage as Freddie Mercury , Sting, Bono and various legends!
I was just a 12 year old kid who lived and still lives less than a mile from where JFK Stadium in Philadelphia used to be and I could hear it from my backyard!
Happy Birthday Phil Collins! Been a blast enjoying your music, and what an inspiration you are with your music and Genesis. Wishing you all the best and to everyone a great year! Honestly, what a great track this is, along with the others!
live Aid was part of my school life and I remember the day to this date, it was epic and it wont ever be repeated EVER
That's a Real Musician.
This was the 80’s. Special time.
I never heard this version of the song before .. I am floored!! So simple, elegant and absolutely amazing!!
God bless you Phil !
I wanted to see him for like 30 years. Last year I did. Greatest concert of my life.
Luckyyyyy👌💙 it was well worth the wait I imagine
One of all time greats iconic❤🎉
It will never be done again. The guy is a legend. Not like the pop stars nowadays
I feel so privileged to have lived through this amazing time. When Queen came on stage at Wembley London literally shook. RIP Freddie. We still miss you. Phil Collins still performing today. Magic.
I was there and Band Aid. We had no idea it was history in the making. I feel so blessed to have been born when I was
hazyness of the sky is sublime, captures the mood of the whole era, perfect time to play
the one and only ,I was 15 years old I could'n believe it watching on TV all my favorites history was made that weekend
Phil absolutely OWNED the entire 80's Decade!!!
Collins' feat of performing at 2 concerts in less than 24 hours was indeed a "Concorde" moment.
I was there. Notice the side-eyed glance Phil gives the crowd when they chime in with the drum part? Ha!
Most moving performance that day was Teddy Pendergrass performing for the first time since he was paralyzed. The video "Ashford & Simpson / Teddy Pendergrass - Reach Out And Touch (Live Aid 1985)" is on this channel.
Barbie Roberts - I’ll have to check that out. Thanks. 💞
13 July 1985, London, England, watching Live Aid, it felt like the world had stopped for a minute and as a child it was the first time I had the awareness we are all part of a global community and when people get together for a cause it is a very powerful thing.
Just think....there has NEVER been an artist play both sides of the Atlantic on the same day before Phil Collins did this, and it will very likely never happen again.
