@@xZaaminator just got back from hooping ; one thing I will say is , I’m a great catch and shooter so for defense to apply pressure , they gotta run around the court with me( which 90% of people aren’t willing to do ) still gotta improve my dribbling under pressure tho
@@Vortex_Feedz facts, that’s a huge issue. Shooters and constantly running and the defenders hate dealing with that because #1 they’re thinking that’s not going in the stat sheet for moving so much and #2 they get tired quicker than the shooter. Look at the warriors
Guys remember the players coaches love the most, are the one's that play Good defense, hustle, and those who dont do to much, have effective, Quick and simple moves. That allow you to get to where you want in the court, without having to hold the ball for too long, nor dribbling in the same spot for more than 5 seconds before doing anything
I’m that crackhead. I definitely feed off of fear. I avg 2.1 steals every pick up game 😂😂😂. I usually just let them do the fancy dribbles and wait for them to mess up
This is a horrible tip. How about tell these players to learn how to put their backs on the defender? That’s how you suppose to bring the ball down. Not dribble in front of the defender 🤦♂️
Bruh that’s a move against heavy pressure in the half court, not full court. You have to be able to see down court always. If a player who obviously has no help, is picking you up full court and you can’t break it without turning your back, move to the 3
@@TJinoue “Bruh” you probably 25 years old that’s why you talk like that. First of all, you have no business bringing the ball down if you think you wont be able to see the court just because you have your back against your defender. That just shows you don’t know how to handle the rock. Basketball has always been about protecting the ball by putting your back on the defender regardless of how much pressure they put on you. Go back to basketball playing MyPark on 2K. You don’t know real basketball.
Bro on defense is a healthy crackhead😂
Sexton's different

colin sexton looking devious 😂
Also do not give in the pressure, gotta stay relaxed and poised
🎖
simple but great point
@@Vortex_Feedz a lot of players feel like they need to rush the moves or feel like dribbling way more than they need to

Thank you bro I just used this move today and worked flawlessly lol. I’m so shit with the ball when I get pressured.
you can also get into a backdown stance, bump into them and go directly into a faceup. it'll give you separation to make a move or breath a little.
Nice
Bro was down bad for that ball💀💀💀
I tell my teammates this soooo many timess
I love playing against pressure defenders, always have. Shake & Bake
In high school I was the only one who brought the ball up if we got pressed for this reason exactly
If Sexton guards me like that, I’m just giving up 😅
Pov: he gave defensive tips
I pray to god I never have 👹 guarding me💀

Shoot the ball
Bait him in with a shot fake then blow past him
If he’s playing back , shoot. Shooters know
Basketball is all about angles. The more space you have, the more options, no matter how tall they are.
