    Fantastic stuff, this is exactly how individual workouts with a trainer should be! Trainer playing defense and letting the player explore. Then giving points between reps. Simple cues, asking questions, and making stuff harder (handling pressure without being able to blow by). And of course every now and then flipping defense to offense and cook up a bit 😂.

    My biggest takeaway that helped me is the ball float. Because what happens a lot of people and younger players is aggressive defenders will make you tense up and feel you have to pound the ball or dribble faster but it’s the opposite you want the ball to float more so anyone out there getting ripped a lot and feel you have a good handle but don’t have the confidence this is the video for you.

    Good vid........To all my young players, vs full court pressure: 1- change speed more than change direction, 2- Avoid slow spin (to prevent wrap around steal andr traps) 3. If you do change direction, use back dribble crossover or behind back dribble (always see what's in front) 4. Once you get a step, cut your defender off while dribbling to create a 5 on 4. One of the best moves vs full ct. pressure is a between the leg hesitation. When the defender sits after your hesitation, anticipating a change of direction, you then explode.

    • @kksprstn6186
      @kksprstn6186 Рік тому

      you could still use a normal crossover as long as you gonna place the ball at your pocket side again to protect it from the opponent.

      @@lejoneason1208 tweens and tight behind the backs while floating work the best. If you're doing a regular cross tip your chest forward, almost feeling as though the ball is bouncing below your knees if that makes any sense. Basically the ball is bouncing as close to your body as possible, while also adding protection with your upper body. Then like he shows pull the ball back into what he called the pocket.
