    For anyone wanting to try this, pipe unions are what make the lateral lines possible.

      Do you have a video on how to install pipe unions?

    I'm wondering what size around the pipes you went with. I see there are different diameters (or) radius', so I'm just wondering what the best size if for closet hangers.

      I went with 1/2 inch pipe and the hangers work fine. The 1/4 while cheaper seemed like it would just be too small looking

      It really only took 3 days with filming which I thought was pretty decent. But its definitely easier than doing it with wood :)

    Hey, Zac, what's the thickness of the pipes you are using?

    • @ZacFolsom
      @ZacFolsom  5 років тому

      I'm using the 1/2 inch. 1/4 looks really tiny but would also hold up.

    Did you buy the imported or domestic pipe fittings on supplyhouse.com? does it matter?

    • @ZacFolsom
      @ZacFolsom  3 роки тому

      I did buy everything from supply house.com

    Did that wax work long term to keep the pipe sealed? It seems nearly impossible to get all the grease off. Im worried about it getting on my clothes

    • @ZacFolsom
      @ZacFolsom  Рік тому +1

      Years later and yes! The biggest thing was cleaning the pipes to get the grease off. You'll see that the pipes change color drastically when you do that and the wax was mostly there for rust

      @@ZacFolsom ok, thank you! I clean the pipes i'm using already (i thought extremely well with acetone and then soapy water), and then i sprayed them with a clear exterior sealant (for concrete, metal, brick, etc). When i started to assemble some of the peices earlier today I ended up with black stuff on my hands still. I'm going to go over them again and then apply the wax i think.

      I used 1/2 inch and it's held up amazingly.

    this is actually filmed very nicely but constructive criticism, the music is annoying and too loud. Just cut it out, we would be able to hear you much better as well.

      I appreciate it. I'll be sure to make it quieter. I don't know if I have the file on my computer anymore unfortunately!

    Dang bro, that is industrial AF and not going anywhere.

    Looks fine for a single guy. My wife would absolutely veto this sort of project, it's really ugly.

      It’s industrial and cheaper to do than a full closet build and my wife loves it. So I guess maybe it depends on who you marry 😊
