- How to make Savory Chicken Hand Pies.
Here's what you'll need:
PIE CRUST:
4 cups all purpose flour (500g)
1 teaspoon salt (5g)
1 cup cold unsalted butter (227g)
1/2 cup ice cold water (125ml)
CREAMY CHICKEN FILLING:
2 tbsps oil
1/2 cup onions (chopped)
2 tbsps garlic (minced)
300 grams chicken breast (small cubes)
1 tsp white pepper powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika
1/3 cup diced bell pepper
1/2 cup corn kernel
1 cup all purpose cream (250ml)
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 beaten egg for eggwash

God! For real. I totally agree about commentaries. I go little crazy whenever I have to read through a page of commentary just to get to a biscuit recipe. Ingredients, time, temperature, and techniques are all I need. Save the stories about grandma for somewhere else. Also, this is a great video!
