    This was one of the most successful breads that I've ever made! I think I'll add more salt, garlic, or even rosemary for more flavor but the texture of the bread was nice and again, one of the easier recipes! Thank you!

    This recipe was amazing! I used it to make cheddar swirl buns and they turned out super fluffy and perfect. The one thing I did differently was after shaping my buns, I let it rest for at least 45 minutes until it doubled in size. I also made sure that the milk was warmed to about 120ish degrees by checking with a candy thermometer.

I added more flour as the mixture was too wet initially and i added flour until i attained desired consistency, and i let it proof for 45mins before baking. I baked for 30mins @175C and covered the surface with a foil as it was browning faster than i wanted.

    Thank you so much for the recipe ! It came out exactly like yours. I used bread flour and added extra two minutes to kneading… the 10 mins proof was not enough for my home kitchen so I let it sit in the turnoff oven covered with a tea towel for 35 mins to allow proper proof…😊 baking time was increased to 20 mins due to my smaller square pan (10”x10”) divided into 12 pieces (approximately 2.3 oz each)
    Uber soft and webbed structure- very attractive… and absolutely a time saver. ❤

  • @Alicia652

    I made these today and they turned out great! Light and fluffy as in the description. I did have to add about 1/2 cup extra flour because my dough was not coming together to form a ball while in the kneading process. I used the active yeast I had on hand that I use when making my breads, so I did form them into little balls, place them in the pan, and let them rise for about an hour before cooking. That worked perfectly. **The only thing I will do differently next week…is leave the salt in the recipe. There was a note to leave the salt out if you were using salted butter (which I was) and in my opinion, it needs that 1 tsp of salt. Other than that, a great recipe that is easy to make! ❤❤

    • @arcooke
      @arcooke 2 роки тому +1

      I typically ignore recipes when they tell you to make adjustments to salt if using salted butter. There is not a lot of sodium in salted butter, so it rarely makes much of a perceivable difference unless the recipe is super sensitive to salt content. An entire stick of butter only has about 700mg of sodium, which is just over 1/4tsp of table salt (1/4 tsp is 575mg). This recipe calls for 1/3 cup of butter which is only about 450mg sodium, so less than 1/4tsp divided between 16 rolls. Just a tiny pinch extra per roll. This recipe tells you to remove an ENTIRE teaspoon of salt if using salted butter, so it's no surprise that they came out bland! The recipe author should edit the recipe to say "use 3/4tsp instead of 1tsp if using salted butter" for a more precise conversion.

    As it was too sweet for us, we reduced the sugar to 30g (two tablespoons). Baking it in winter, we extended the rising time (check every 15min to see if it's almost doubled in size).

      The same happened to me with a cornbread recipe, the first time was perfect, the other ones just didn’t taste like nothing and I’ve tried everything and it’s the same, I’m just not doing it anymore. But you could check if your instant yeast is not expired or maybe the amount of flour you’re using

    Knead the dough by hook or by hand for 8 minutes, take a piece size of a meatball and gently stretch oit a few inches you should be able to see through it, called window pane, and should hold together, then it's ready to rise until doubled covered in warm place.
    Tip....all ingredients too m temperature, we always leave out eggs and butter overnight, except milk which you scald and cool to 120. Mix yeast and 120 water......all that is very important, bake internal temp should be 180, always insert thermometer into baked goods to test temp, hard breads should register 195 or higher..........dont give up, keep baking. Yeast products require warmth....good luck.

    Thank you for this quick bread rolls. I've always been afraid of any recipes with yeast. I tried a couple of times, but yeast and I never got along. Until I found this! 😍 Already made this twice. Although the dough is not always smooth (I don't know how to knead) , the outcome is still good. 😊

    • @dayafernandez2423

      Made this recipe too, let the dough sit overnight, and the bread came out more like biscuits or cake, the result wasn't satisfying to me. I think it needs more kneading time, about 15 minutes in total to develop elasticity, and also, the fermentation gas must be removed, and then make the little balls after that, then let them raise again and there is when they are ready to stick in the oven. Cooking time should be between 20 to 30 minutes like other recipes suggest.
      Not saying this recipe is wrong, but these little details should be emphasized to avoid wasting money and time like I did.

      @Daya Fernandez your comment was the only one that I felt was genuine. I knew something didn't add up. There wasn't enough time to get all the steps done in just a half hour, and then bake the rolls. I despise people posting their recipe as the best ever, just to get people to view the video. CLICKBAIT is the comment they deserve. You saved me from wasting my money and, more importantly, my time.
      Bless you, Dana. Peace and honesty in the kitchen. 🙂
