I've met Ray several times, however a few years ago I ran into him at NAMM (he was holding a cup of coffee). I told him I couldn't talk long, because I had to go do a signing (with a bunch of other artists). Ray turned around, put his coffee on the FLOOR, so he could give me a hug with both arms, and told me he was proud of me. It was the most humble thing in the world. THAT is Ray Luzier!!! He's the real deal.
Ray is such a rad dude. He's humble and of course a monster. He got the gig mostly because he's a good human being and doesn't have the "ego" trip a lot of good players can have. He is proof of your a good player and not a douche bag you can accomplish a lot. He brought Korn to a new level. He's one of the most creative rock/metal guys around. He rarely plays straight ahead stuff. Keep up the good work Ray and sabian 100%
Ray is from his own Planet, he copies no one, and he is very inspirational to say the least, Ray you ROCK brother literally and figuratively, if you ever do another clinic in Florida I will be there : )
my favorite drummer. made the trip to California last year to attend Musicians Institute (Thanks to ray) and 3 weeks later he walked into my technique class and I damn near had a heart attack!! about a month later Jonathan Davis came by.
Ray is a beast..he can stomp those drums..a7x and korn finally ended up with badass drummers and i love that they weren't people that we ever expected or even knew and slipknot too even i miss joey and the rev
I understand Korn fans missing David, but they are doing themselves a disservice by downplaying Ray. He is freaking awesome! I was very impressed when I saw Korn live last summer.
You should not compare Ray against David, David did a great stuff for a band, maybe best albums was out with David drumming, but its time to move on, and Ray, I really think so, is a best drummer ANY metal/rock band can even dream to have on board, his groove is something from another planet. Thia is the next level drumming for the Korn.
I’m living in my car as we speak I have the same passion for the drums and I wanna play till I die I’d love for you to teach me just because of you’re passion!
You re the best Ray you teach us in Québec city at drumfest 18 not to have a bad attitude you were right the whole music scene is kind of changing for the better thanks👏👏👏👏🥁🥁🥁🇨🇦🇨🇦
It's so sad that no young kid will ever experience this kind of rise to success ever again because of Covid. All those young musicians that were going to be the future will never see the light of day on any meaningful level. That is so depressing.

I was very fortunate to interview Ray for a podcast, I can confirm he’s one of the nicest guys you could ever meet!

It's so nice to see that being a good person with a strong work ethic and having good morals can still lead to success!!!
Ray, you are amazing!!! Thank You for being a part of one of my favorite bands of all time!
Jonathan Davis pulling performance notes from James Brown is amazing.
Ray is a legend!!
Listen to Army of Anyone's debut album for a super underrated album and one of Ray's best works ever. ;)

Absolutely agree. Ray is a great drummer. I wouldn't want another drummer emulating David. They did the right thing by allowing Ray to be himself.
David simply fit Korn better, but Ray is the better drummer overall.
Luzier MUCH better than Silveria. I'am not Korn fan.

The best live drummer you’ll ever see in an arena! So under rated! Humble man.
Hell of a drummer!!
This is fucking awesome. Ray is a straight up legend, thank you for your insight!
Ray got me INTO drums!

omaripolanco95 *_Just want to get this straight; you want Ray Luzier to teach you, a homeless person, how to play drums?_*
He has a whole series before he was in Korn on how to play drums lol
You re the best Ray you teach us in Québec city at drumfest 18 not to have a bad attitude you were right the whole music scene is kind of changing for the better thanks👏👏👏👏🥁🥁🥁🇨🇦🇨🇦
Incredible content, Sabian!!
True musician and a monster on the drums. My #1
My Grandfather came from Pennsylvania it was a trip for him as well.🤘
Nice guy, Ray...
Way to play it "straight" Ray! On top where you belong without drugs and alcohol! Just high on drums!
Musical genius.
He’s Genuinely a Nice Guy Period !!
Every time I see Ray, I ask myself “Why is this Russian diplomat playing drums for Korn?”
