Excellent advice, shared with my dance friends. 😊
I'm glad 😊
Thank you, this helped me right now. I have the same trigger/weakness with things that have to be done in my house and I can't do it myself at all.
It can be such a stressful time, but we will push through it, sharing helps 😇.
Good advice thanks for sharing Rasa. I agree, when you are not ready you are not ready, and you need to know and respect that. Also good reminder that our mental health comes first and we have permission to prioritise it. Hope the boiler work turned out well.
It did , all got fixed eventually 😇😇😇
When I was out of work I started running. (This was years before I began dancing.) It was an outlet for the stress I felt, and it was part of building a stronger and more confident me for my future.
Today it would be important for me to continue dancing.
Beautiful, well done for staying strong throughout tough times ☺️.
Thank you 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Rasa. I really needed this today. Been going through alot. So i feel much better after listening to your video. Take care 😊
I'm so glad it did 💓
Thank you for sharing, mental health is always a welcome topic to protect, dancing has turned many a rubbish day to a better one.
Well said indeed 👏 👍
Relatable and helpful video :) Wishing you the best Rasa!
Thank you so much 💓
Recently, my sister has had a drain fly infestation in her house for over 8 months - resulting from shoddy building work from a few years earlier. She's been at her wits end over it. I'd been trying to convince her about joining a group yoga class or anything similar for many many years; I think it would've helped her cope but she didn't do it. I think a regime of regular exercise best prepares you mentally for harder times.
Also, I think we have become more self-absorbed generally as a society, particularly in the West: we think our problems are unbearable and we're driven to panic when things don't go according to plan.
I know you're not like that and that you're resilient, Rasa :)
Thank you for sharing and I completely agree with you 😊. Hope your sister feels better 😊
Thank you for sharing Rasa ❤
It helped me 😇
Sorry to hear about your boiler problems, sounds like a nightmare! Hope it all gets sorted soon!
It got sorted but oh my god what an experience 😳
Thank you for sharing. It’s good to talk, get out and dance. It has helped so many people in my dance life. Exercise is key. Hope your situation gets better soon. ❤
Already has , thank you very much 😊
Nice conversation! Thank you so much 😊
My pleasure 🙏
Thank you for this helpful video! Hope things will be fixed quickly with your house 😍
Already have , thank you 💓
Thank you for the great video, Rasa! I was thinking it could be nice with a video about mental health in relation to dancing. While I strongly agree that dancing is most of the time an amazing cure when you feel down, the dancing environment itself can also be toxic at times and bring you down. Would be great to hear your thoughts on how to cope with this :-)

Great idea, will put this in my notes 😇
Great video cosigned by a Mental Health Worker, I think there's a lot of good stuff in here for self-care and dance has so many aspects to it that can improve our own Mental Health. Hope your boiler gets sorted and the stress melts away asap. Hopefully see ya tonight to have Yarm bouncing! x
Absolutely, already fixed, and I'm ready to bounce 😇.
Hi Rasa. I'm taking a week off going to socials so that i can rest and recover from dance fatigue and i am enjoying it! One question i would like to ask for a future video. I'm a follower who dances bachata. Lately a lot of leaders have been giving me great feedback saying that my "body feels good" and that my body feels "like I'm an experienced dancer". I would like to know what that actually means. Does it mean i feel stable/ flexible/ strong?
Overall I would say probably you are light to move but strong enough to keep your own body weight, those are very nice compliment s 💓
Hope you feeling better
Thank you 😊
I wish I had the boiler broken...! Instead, I just couldn't accomplish the bill payments in the last two months, so this wednesday they are coming to cut me the power&gas😞 maybe it wouldn't that stressfull if everything was not under supervision of the owner, but me only😪so, let's say I envy you 😉
I agree with you about workout, but since dancing for me means essentially happiness, and since I am now the sadest person on the earth, finding myself helpless, it is just impossible for me even listening to the music (how coild I?)... so, I hope this story of mine
would help you to stay more calm and less stressfull, because...luckily..lit's you and you: you owe no explanations to anyone after all.
Thanks for your helpful words, seems you (and the universe) did this for me😉
Lots of hugs🥰
Oh darling, I hope your things will work out, and thank you for sharing ❤️

Sorry Rasa but while there is good advice in your video. I must strongly point out that I suspect there is confusion with mental health and you might be contributing to it. The healthy reaction is to be sad when grieving and to be stressed with serious home repairs. It is unhealthy to expect that you can avoid stress or grieving by having better "mental health"... or to abuse the "mental health" excuse by confusing it for healthy stress or grieving. We may end up empting it from meaning. However, I am not qualified about this topic. Luckily, things such depression are getting better undertood by professionals.
