Love the pattern but i have problem with the beginng point as when do a few rows, it doesnt seem to line up with other points. I follow ur instructions but it just seems never to work for me. I wanna keep on trying with this pattern as i love it
Hi! For the large, you chain 108. For the first row how many double crochet to corner? Med is chain 84 then do 20 count, but I can't figure out large. Tha is very much!
Yes front post double crochet around the one stitch and then in the next stich like i explane you will do a double and you repeat that all the way around.
How many fpdc did you do on the first round from on corner to the other. I seem to be getting 11 fpdc on the first part of then 10 on the rest of the round. Be great if you show where you are putting your hook and stop and show some of you work and counts of fpdc and dc on the next round corner to corner. I really want to do this so i've thrown out what i've done as it's unpulled a few times. I'm going to start fresh hopefully it will turn out.
as i say you do the slip stitch then u would chain 3 then put one double crochet into the same chain that u sliped stitched into witch that will form your first corner.
Hi I got a question Can I use the multiple the way u said right and use the dc as well but make it my own pattern with sport weight yarn. -can I add a hood
Have a question - why is it on your starting corner You only do slip stitch , chain three, and one double crochet but all the other corners you double crochet, chain three, double crochet, just wondering why that is?
That is all up to the person that is making it on how many rows for erach color you want to do. You can do it the way i show in the tutorial or more then i did.
Can it be made for babies. Generally trianglar poncho tutorials are available in you tube for babies. Any particular reason. Can hood be added to it.. Thank you
Yes it can be made for babys just have to less stitches for the size that's all and trianglar ponchos are for adults or kids lots of adults wear them to. but yes they can be made for babys. You can add a hood to it yes
For the size you make the size for whoever you are making it for so it varey's on the size you just keep going if u are wanting it biger or make small for a little one.
You are a great teacher! Ive been looking for a more filled poncho for cooler weather. Thank you so much.
Awww thank you so much for the kind words.

Yes I'm trying to do a poncho . Just ran across your page
You hold your yarn like I do. I've never seen anyone hold it like do. Everyone thinks I'm weird . Lol.
lol i know right
I do too, that's how my mum taught me.
how ever you hold your hook and yarn that achieves your goal is what is right for you. ignore what others say.
Please share how many double crochet between the points for the different sizes

Do you have to do front post and just do double crochet Thank You Deb
Yes front post double crochet around the one stitch and then in the next stich like i explane you will do a double and you repeat that all the way around.
I like watching your video because you talk nicely slow also you hold your hook like me
Thank you glad you enjoy
Question: This is very pretty. How many balls of yarn did you use?
One for each colour
My question is:: do you still do the 20 DC pattern all away around even for the bigger sizes?
You would just add more to it if you want it bigger.
When you do bigger sizes how many double crochet for xl for every peak
Would be the same it's just you are changing up the hook size.
Hello. I'm french. I like your vidéo. what length of wool is needed according to each sizeplease ?
This isn't wool and you can use any size of yarn you would like for the poncho I give all details in the tutprial on how to make it.

Just watch the video and i tell you in it :)
Sounds like you’re doing right. Sorry you thought you weren’t and pulled it out 😢!
Would have been nice to see the finished product.
I did show the finished product at the end of my tutorial
Please confirm - in the first corner, we do not do a chain 3?
as i say you do the slip stitch then u would chain 3 then put one double crochet into the same chain that u sliped stitched into witch that will form your first corner.
listening loving honoring
Hi I got a question
Can I use the multiple the way u said right and use the dc as well but make it my own pattern with sport weight yarn.
-can I add a hood
No because of the fact that you are still using my pattern aka stitches you would have to come up with your own stitch/ pattern to make it your own
Yes for sure you can add a hood to it you do what u want to do with it.
I want to make it for teenager . Is this size fine?
Yes for sure.
Have a question - why is it on your starting corner You only do slip stitch , chain three, and one double crochet but all the other corners you double crochet, chain three, double crochet, just wondering why that is?
That’s the beginning and at the end you finish it so it’ll look like the others.
how many rows for each color and how many rows total?
That is all up to the person that is making it on how many rows for erach color you want to do. You can do it the way i show in the tutorial or more then i did.

I did a size 2XL. Do I still dc in next 20 stitches?
Yep you would do the pattern like you would in the size i did you just keep going :)
Is there a written pattern
Good afternoon, what was your final measurements?
I am not sure i can't measure it because it was a order.
Where are the sizes?
For the size you make the size for whoever you are making it for so it varey's on the size you just keep going if u are wanting it biger or make small for a little one.
No transcript 😓
what do you mean no Transcrpt?
There is no transcript so having to write everything down. Best pattern I’ve found for larger sizes. How much yarn does this use ? I want to try it !
